Module 1 Wonders of the World本模块是新学期的起始模块,因此无论是教学内容还是语法功能上都起到了承上启下的作用。
其题材是围绕世界奇观展开,功能是要求学生学会描述地点和经历,而语法结构则是复习已经学过的六种基本时态,任务是做一个关于世界奇迹的海报。
这里根据自己对教材的理解,结合新课标的具体要求,确定模块的整体教学目标。

Unit 1 What is a wonder of the world?第一单元是对话课,其作用不仅在于引出模块的话题,更为第二、三单元的学习提供语言环境,由于新教材每一模块的对话都是围绕School Magazine 展开,所以学好第一单元又为接下来的对话学习扫清了语言和文化上的障碍。
