B. New lesson:
1.Listen and point.
a. Get the Ss. to look at the book.Ask them questions in Chinese
about the pictures,e.g. Who are the characters? What is happening?
What is Lingling doing in Picture 4? Which animal comes into the classroom?
b. After the Ss. have listened to the tape and pointed to the
pictures, play the tape again. This time they have to follow Ms Smart’s instructions,i.e. they have to sit down, stand up, point to the door, point to the window and then point to the blackboard. They should point to the objects in the textbook, but if they are capable, you can play the tape again and they can point to the objects in their classroom.
c. Play the tape several times. Try to get the students to follow
the instructions without looking at their books.
2.Listen and say.
a. Play the tape again, pause it after each utterance and get the
Ss. to repeat the sentences.
b. Explain that you will give instructions and that the Ss. have
to listen and point to the correct pictures.
3.Say and do.
a. If you want to extend this game, add the words ‘boys’and
‘girls’ to the instructions.

课文导入
Ok，point to the desk.学生不会，老师在教室里边摸桌子边说desk，然后出示单词卡片，（贴在一个显眼的桌子上）教读。让学生一边摸桌子一边说desk。板书单词desk。同样的方法学习chair ,window ,door, blackboard ,classroom.（此环节教师要观察学生的学习状态并及时鼓励学生“摘苹果”。）
上节课飞进教室的小鸟Tweet-Tweet今天又来到了教室里，于是Sam, Amy, Lingling 和Daming开始利用这个机会练习他们在课堂上学到的语言。让我们一起来看一看他们的表现怎么样？
课文教学
1.首先听录音，请学生边看边听，Da Ming, LingLing , Amy 和Sam分别对小鸟说了什么，小鸟是怎样做的。
2．再听录音，听完后复述所听到的内容。
设计思路：听录音练习，一方面可以提高学生的听力能力，另一方面可以使小学生感受到更多纯正的语音。同时教师及时发现听得认真的学生和能复述所听到的内容的学生“摘苹果”。
3．分角色表演课文内容。鼓励扮演小鸟者为自己的角色设计丰富的动作。
巩固练习
1、猜单词。邀请一个学生上前，通过模仿动作表演教室中的物品，请其他学生猜测该学生所要表现的是什么物品。
2、教师叫起8个学生就站在自己的位置上教师说 point to the desk、 point to the chair、 point to the window、 point to the door…找一名小老师来发号指令，其余的学生做相应的动作。
3、创编一个chant(拍手) point to the desk ,point to the chair ,point to the window, And point to the door.
设计思路：运用游戏巩固知识，让学生在不知不觉中掌握所学内容，从而突破重、难点
4、拓展完成任务
完成任务三listen and circle
完成任务四listen and say，then sing and do the actions。首先放录音，请学生熟悉曲调和歌词。然后放朗读歌词的录音，请学生逐句跟读。再次放歌曲录音，请学生一边唱一边执行歌词中的指令。
完成任务五找一个学生到讲台上去，老师在她后面出示图片或单词卡，其他学生说相应的单词，然后在讲台上的同学下去找相应的实物。
完成任务六两人一组一人下指令，另一人做动作。先找一组示范，再让学生模仿做。最后检查。（课前画好的教室图）
设计思路：运用任务型教学法，熟练、巩固所掌握的知识。

一、温故知新
1．做游戏：报电话号码对抗赛，复习数字1－10。
将全班分成若干个小组，对抗赛在两个小组中进行参赛的每个学生都要准备一张纸，上面写一个六位数的电话号码，在教师宣布游戏开始后，第一组的第一名学生立即出示他手中的号码，第二组的第一名学生应立即用英文将这个号码说出来，然后该学生出示手中的号码，第一组的第二名学生应立即将这个号码说出来，说错或不能迅速说出的不得星，最后哪组得星最多为优胜。
2．教师播放第一册Unit 6A部分Let’s sing “Ten Little Candles Dance”的录音，让学生跟唱。教师在学生唱歌的过程中用蜡烛图片或实物做演示。
二、实物展示，学习新知。
1．教师依次在黑板上贴出写有英文单词1－10的气球，边贴边让学生认读。
2．做“找朋友”的游戏：教师准备好1－10的卡通数字，找学生分别把数字贴到黑板上相应的气球下面。
3．教师让学生猜一猜手中有多少蜡烛的图片：How many candles ?学生猜完后，教师把图片贴到黑板上，边贴边让学生大声数出来。教读单词：eleven。
3．教师依次增加黑板上蜡烛的数量，并询问学生：How many candles can you see?让学生用I can see… candles.来回答。同时教师教学生twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen。
4．教师在黑板上贴出写有11－15英文单词的气球，让学生认读单词，然后小组轮流读。
5．让学生把教师所给出的数字11－15卡片贴到黑板上与之相应的气球下面。
6．教师出示1－15的单词卡，打乱顺序让学生认读。
7．找15个学生到前面各选择一个单词卡，然后按顺序排列。
8．教师放本部分录音，让学生跟读单词。
三、趣味操练
1．报数：Let’s play部分可结合学生平时上体育课的要求，请两小组的学生上台，先要求学生排好队（Line up），然后要求他们大声报数1－15（Count from 1-15）。依次请各小组上台，比一比看哪一组排队快、静、齐，报数响亮、准确。也可在全班范围进行1－15的报数比赛，训练学生的快速反应能力。
2．猜年龄
教师事先准备好一批人物的图片，如Mike,Kate等，在图片的反面写上数字，如5，8，11，15等。这个游戏可以每一纵行为一组进行竞赛。由教师出示一张图片并询问每组的第一名学生How old is he/she?第二名学生轮流猜，依次进行。哪个组的学生猜对了就给该组记一颗星，然后接着往下猜。第一组的学生猜过后第组排接着猜。最后哪个组得星最多为优胜。四、扩展性活动
1看谁的记忆力最好
教师可事先印制几张表格，表格上写有一些物品的名称和数量。教师发给每两个学生一张表格，游戏为两人一组。教师给30秒时间让其中的一个学生仔细看这张表格并努力记下来。30秒之后，由另一个学生问他：How many … can you see?这时那个学生要背着不许看表格来回答问题。看一看能够记对多少。然后，两人交换继续游戏。各小组之间可以互换表格，使游戏时间更长一些。自制表格如下：
