Adjusting procedure of universal indexer
The universal indexer feeds the frame being fed from the loader side magazine and feeds it to the unloader side magazine after bonding.
In adjustment of the universal indexer, appropriate adjustment of the control sensor in the operation unit, drive cam, drive screw and drive timing belt is important.
For replacing the heater, drive motor, drive timing belt, and other parts, disassemble the unit up to the aimed item according to the procedure in this manual.

2-2-1 Removal method
Remove the universal indexer “UF-117” from wire bonder “UTC-3000WE” main body according to the following procedure (1) ~ (8).
(1) Removal of operation panel
(2) Move of operation panel
(3) Removal of loader and unloader covers
(4) Removal of loader side fixing bolt
(5) Removal of unloader side fixing bolt
(6) Removal of connectors
(7) Removal of reference system piping
(8) Removal of vacuum piping

(5) Removal of unloader fixing bolts
Remove two cap screws M6×20mm which fix the universal indexer from the unloader side (right side panel of machine).
(6) Removal of connectors
1) Open the universal indexer front door by removing one cap screw M4×6mm .
Fig.UF011
Fig.UF012
2) Loosen two cap screws M3×6mm with washers , and remove the relay board cover.
3) Disconnect the wiring connector from the AC motor of the universal indexer.
4) Disconnect the connector (P-1) from the heater and thermocouple cable. 5) Disconnect the connector (P-2) from reference system (RPS). 6) Disconnect PJ-9, PJ-18, PJ-25, PJ-26, PJ-35
7) Loosen cap screw M4×6mm to disconnect GND wire and its fixing bolt.
Fig.UF013
(7) Removal of piping to reference sistem
Disconnect two air piping’s to the reference system (RPS) at the rear side of the unloader.
(8) Removal of vacuum piping
Disconnect the vacuum piping. Now, the work for removing the universal indexer from the main body is complete.
With the above dismount work of the UF-117 universal indexer is the end.
