01 Travel Broadens the Mind
Nowadays more and more people choose to travel during their holidays, since travel not only brings leisure and joy but also broadens the mind. As for me, not only can it bring me more historical knowledge, but it can also add to my social experience.
Take my trip to Mount Tai for example. As is known to all, it’s a magnificent mountain famous for both the beautiful scenery and the splendid cultural heritage. At the very sight of her, m y soul was attached to her. I remembered the poem “Wang Yue” written by Du Fu, I remembered many historic events which happened on this land and I also recalled the responsibility to conserve this heritage. As I climbed up the mountain, our guide told me many things I had never got to know before, which of course broadened my scope of knowledge. It was also on this trip that I made many new friends with whom I exchanged my opinions, and that I got acquainted with some information about first aid and package tour. All this indeed added to my social experience.
In short, travel offers a good chance for me to open my eyes and enrich my experience while I can enjoy myself. It broadens the mind in a relaxing way.

Travel has many benefits to offer. It enriches our experiences and helps us know more about the world, aside from relaxing ourselves both physically and psychologically.
To begin with, travel is one of the best ways to enrich our experiences. If we
visit tourist attractions and historical or cultural relics at different places of our country or foreign lands, we will meet different people, enjoy exotic natural sceneries, have a taste of varied cultures and, in the long run, enrich our knowledge. Moreover, travel also helps to enlighten and broaden our minds, since it provides us with new perspectives through what we learn from other cultures. For example, it helps to reduce cultural prejudice after we have got a better understanding of civilizations that vary sharply from one another.
Travel is gaining increasing popularity among us. We travel to relax ourselves, enrich our experiences and broaden our minds.
03Travel broadens the mind
Nowadays more and more people spend their weekends or holidays on travelling. It is considered a popular way to enjoy life. In my mind, travel not only relaxes people physically but also broadens the mind.
First of all, travel can help people learn different geography. When they have been to Tibet, they will know what plateau is; When they have been to Sahara, they will know what desert is; when they have been to Amazon, they will know what rain forest is;… Every new place they travelled is their best teachers to teach them geography. Secondly, travel can help people understand various cultures. When people travel in their homeland, they can experience the customs of different peoples. For example, Chinese love to go on their holidays in minority areas where many ethnic peoples live, such as Qiang People in Sichuan, Tibetan in Tibet, Dai People in Yunnan. Besides enjoying the breathtaking natural sceneries there, they can try hundreds of delicious foods and drinks, and celebrate many wonderful festivals with locals. Thus, travel will foster greater understanding among peoples of different traditions and bring harmony to China. In addition, by travelling abroad, people will experience exotic customs, cultures and traditions. They can also learn foreign languages which enable them to appreciate literature and know history.
As I mentioned above, people gain kinds of knowledge through travelling. That is travel broadens the mind.
04Travel broadens the mind
As far as we know, modern people have more time at their disposal, long holiday, and long weekend. But how to take great advantage of the leisure time is a problem. Someone chose staying at to spend the boring time; someone would rather sleep during the holiday. However, as far as I concerned, traveling is not a bad choice, which one can broadens one’s mind when do it.
Firstly, one can learn some different knowledge during travel. When one go around a place, who must be attracted by the local culture and custom, and the curiosity will force one to realize it, the local history, culture and the story of it .So people can learn a lot which one c an’t study from the text book. Secondly, one must meet many people from all over the country and thus can learn something from them. Place of interest attract a lot of people who take their different experience and opinions which is about the same stuff. When one meet with them, and those people can share their cheerful time with you, as well as some grieved experience, which will largely enrich one’s mind.
To sum up, travel can surely broadens one’s mind. If one possesses enough money and plenty of time at one’s disposal, then travel is the best choice

One big problem is the pollution caused by the use of cars. Consequently, the increase rate of the number of the private cars can be controlled. In a word, it is a very good and necessary attempt to use the means of taxation to treat the pollution.
