大家好，我是新东方的王树振老师，四六级作文和综合部分的主讲老师。在开始今天的讲座之前，首先自我介绍一下。我姓王，王树振。说起我这个名字，还带有传奇色彩。话说二十七年的一个寒冷的冬夜，在河南省北部的一个小村庄，一个平凡而又神奇的小男孩儿呱呱落地（记住，不是呱呱，呱呱落地的那是蛤蟆）。那个小男孩就是我，你们的王老师。我爸后来给我取了这个名字，当他给我取名的时候，二十七年的他就已经预见到了二十七年后的今天，我会作为一个老师，站在这里给大家做这次培训的。因为在我的名字里有暗示啊！
树者，自树树人也；振者，振兴中华也。我父亲之所以生下我，就是让我帮助大家自树树人，振兴中华来着！Yes！
我现在除了在新东方，英语专业研究生毕业之后，还在咱天津的一所高校里面教大学英语——为了把我留下，那个大学为了留住我这个人才，于是乎就把校训改成了“勤奋严谨，自树树人”了——大家知道是哪所大学了吗？呵呵，原来校训是“坑蒙拐骗，无恶不作”！
因为我曾经阅过四六级的作文及综合部分的考题，于是就被老汤请过来给大家讲课——老汤知道是谁吧？老汤是我们老师给汤校长取得外号，他的真名叫“马邦德”！
言归正传，OK？
首先问大家一个问题：你们觉四级考试所有题型之中，哪一类题型最容易失分，也是最容易得分？给大家两个选择，是写作呢，还是写作呢？
英美人的思维方式跟咱们绝对不同，可以说是截然相反。所以，假如你坚持用东方式的思维去写作文，我只能说我很佩服你贵在参与的应试态度。
为了让大家明白这个道理，我给大家举个例子。譬如说对于爱情。西方人，尤其是美国人，表达的很直接。他们有一首歌唱得非常好，是史迪威旺达的I just
call《电话诉衷肠》：“I just call to say, I love you; I just call to say How much I care.”于是当一个美国小伙子爱上一个美国姑娘的时候，他会直截了当地告诉她：“I just call to say I love you, do you love me?”那姑娘会很直接的告诉他：“Yes”或者是“No”。如果是Yes，两人很快就会在一起。如果是No，小伙子会马上转移目标：“枝上柳绵吹又少，天涯何处无芳草”嘛！
但是这个话题在东方人的思维里，表达起来就不是那么直接了。当一个中国的小伙子跟一个中国的女孩子交往很长一段时间之后，那个字仍然羞于启齿。直到有一天，非表白不可的时候，男孩子问女孩子：“我喜欢你，你喜欢我吗？”一般情况下，女孩子会选择唱一首歌，什么歌呢？邓丽君的《月亮代表我的心》。在座诸位，又会唱的吗？好，你们就听听王老师如花版的《月亮代表我的心》吧。“你问我爱你有多深，我爱你有几分，你去想一想，你再看一看，月亮代表我的心。”中国的男孩子很快就心领神会了。于是，当出现跨国恋情，一个美国的小伙子爱上一个中国姑娘的时候，他会直接说：“I just call to say I love you, do you love me?”中国姑娘呢，会情意绵绵的唱：“你去想一想，你再看一看，月亮代表我的心。”美国的小伙子傻了：“没有Yes，又没有No，你这是嘛意思呢？”这就解释了，为什么是美国人第一个于1969年12月将人类送到月球的民族。因为，根据最新的解密材料发现：“第一个登上月球的美国人，William Armstrong，在他年轻的时候曾经爱上一个中国的姑娘！”
