But among them the digital art board was a very special one to me and I played with this special toy for more than 3-4 years as I recall. This was a gift from my father on occasion of my 5th or 6th birthday. A digital pen or stylus type pen was attached to it for painting. This stylus could be placed at the right side of the board. He described that I can draw picture in this board, edit them, save them and reopen the saved pictures anytime I like. There was a built-in memory and the user can store up to 10 thousand drawing. The colour and pen tool makes the paintingeasy. He also told that there are some premade design and template that would help the user to draw a picture. And my parents were both tied up with work, so they were barely around. I always spent my time alone in my bedroom, with my toy dog.It was huge, at least it was bigger than me at that time. It's got brown fur, with a red tongue stuck out. Most of the time, I would ride on him. Actually we liked to do everything together, I didn't want to step away from him, I even held him in my arms when I went to bed and read bedtime stories to him. I could tell him anything, 'cause my secrets were safe with him. He gave me a sense of security.Unfortunately, after I attended junior high school, my mom thought that I was too old to play with soft toys, so she gave him away to my cousin. I first saw him when I was in high school. Back then he was only a puppy. He's got brown fluffy fur, and big sparkling eyes. I fell in love with him at first sight. He's super friendly, every time I see him, he would run around me, waving his tail, licking my feet. And he would keep barking at me, wanting me to hold him in my arms. Whenever we are having dinner, he would sit beside the table, and look at us with the puppy-dog eyes. Every time I see his eyes, I just couldn't help but give him my piece of meat in my plate. He likes to play outside. 雅思口语part2动物范文-野生动物Topic:Describe a time you were close to a wild animal. You should say :what animal it waswhere you saw it what happenedwhen you saw itand explain how do people in your country feel about this animal.Sample answer:The south China tiger is one of the endangered and rather precious species of carnivores in China. It is well acknowledged that they are as valuable as the pandas, due to their only presence in China all over the world. The reason why people call them the south China tiger is because they live in south of China. Most of them were living in the mountains and forests in Hunan,Fujian,Guangdong,Henan and Shanxi Province. Technically, you could find them in the forest land and wild area where wild boar, buffalo and many kinds of deer were abundant. However, from 1950s,people began to hunt them, which caused huge declining.Although the government set laws to protect them, the illegal hunting was continued. So,now I'm very sad to tell you that many experts believed that south China tiger has been extinct in the wild area. There are only about 100 south China tigers living in several zoos and breed base places. All of them are feeding by people, which is a tragedy coz they are wild animals. But we don't have other choice,we have to protect them, they are going to die out.In the past time, many animal photographers are devoted in taking photos of south China tigers. Thanks to them,we now have many valuable pictures when they were living in the wild area.9月最新雅思口语Part2话题范文:Describe a wild animal you have seenTask:Describe a wild animal you have seen.Sample answer:Tiger is a wild animal which is very common in our country. It is the largest animal of the cat species and grow up quite large. It can grow up to 11 feet and can weight more than 300 kg. Tigers generally live about 25 years and they require a large habitat area that supports their prey requirements. Most of the tigers of the world are found in the widely are across Asia, Turkey and Russia. The most recognizable feature of a tiger is its dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with a lighter underside. They have got a big head and sharp teeth claws. It is a carnival animal that mostly depends on the meat of other animals. The largest number of tigers can be found in India and the total subspecies and the numbers of tigers are decreasing over time. Tigers are good swimmers and are often found crossing rivers and lakes in heavy tides.Tigers usually hunt alone unlike other animals that prey in group. They first target their prey and aim at it. When the target is fixed, it attacks with a sudden ferocity overpowering the prey with the strength and size. Tigers have great leaping ability andcan run very fast. This formidable large wild animal is getting extinct over time and they have become numbered in the world. Approximately only 3500 tigers are present in the world and the number is decreasing. Many tigers are held in the zoo for public and they usually live on supplied meat.In my opinion, since human is superior to any other living species, we have a responsibility to prevent the extinction of the tiger as we are the primary reason for their extinction. Wild animals are part of the eco-system we live in an we have a natural responsibility to preserve a balanced eco-system for our own good.雅思口语Part 2话题素材:一种有趣的野生动物2014年5月至8月份的雅思口语题库里中有这么一个题目:Describe an interesting wild animal from your country ( you like best)You should say:Where you learned about this animalWhat it looks likeWhere it lives (where you saw it)And explain why you like this interesting animalDolphins-高智商哺乳动物 high intelligent marine mammals; 深受人们喜爱well-loved by humans; 帮助人们救援help humans to rescue; 听觉非常好,比人们的听觉效果好十倍They have excellent hearing too, with the ability to hear about 10 times better than human;用口哨交流,传达心情They can use whistles which seem a lot like names to keep in touch with each other and convey their mood.; 未来发展,由于栖息地的破坏,环境污染,濒临灭绝,人家应该去保护这种动物, The future is at risk for dolphins due to thehabitat destruction, problems finding food, pollutants in the water. 雅思口语话题:环境污染环境是一个考试的老话题了,为了让大家积累更多素材,下面小编就给大家带来雅思口语话题:环境污染的相关解析,希望可以帮助到你。
雅思口语Part2答案:环境污染参考答案:I live in (..say the name of your city..) and this city has got some several issues related to environmental pollution. The major environmental pollutions that this city has are water pollution, air pollution and sound pollution. The main reason for these pollutions is the large number of population and the industrialization of this city. The city has more than (…say the current population of this city..) whereas the number should have been far less than that. It is evitable that a large number of populations in a small city always cause environmental pollution as they use more cars, consume more energy and natural resources and create more wastages ad noises. The reason for the water pollution is the uncontrolled number of industries, factories and other constructions that have been grown up besides the rivers. These factories and industries produce a large number of chemical and other wastages which directly affects the water. Inappropriate and uncontrolled construction is another reason for water pollution in our city. The effect of water pollution is severe, the water supply would be affected and the supply of safe and clean water would be threatened. A large number of people rely on the water available of the rivers and they would be directly affected. Lots of people would get sick due to water pollution and those diseases canbecome epidemic if not controlled and cause an immense loss of life.Air pollution is also very concerning in this city and the chemical smoke, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide omitted from automobiles and industries are the main reason for air pollution. This city has more than million automobiles and thousands of industries which are omitting the dangerous gases, and ingredients which are causing the air pollutions. Air pollution is the direct reason people suffer from various dangerous diseases including lung cancer, asthma, heart disease etc. In fact the number of people currently suffering from these diseases in alarming and if steps are not taken to prevent air pollution immediately, this number would rapidly increase.Sound pollution is produced by the loud horns used by the cars, loud sound used for announcement and cacophony created due to loud sound. The airplanes that fly over the resident area created a very loud noise as well. Air pollution is a silent killer that causes lots of serious diseases including hearing and brain cancer. The air pollution directly affects the natural balance by affecting the wild lives. The most important thing to reduce pollution in our city is to create public awareness. We are mostly creating that pollution and endangering ourselves, the nature and other species. Without our awareness and strict determination to prevent our city from pollution, we can’t reduce or prevent it. Strict laws should be introduced and applied against environmental pollution and all the illegitimate industries and companies should be banned. The decentralization of industries and offices can be effective as it would reduce the number of people currently living in this city.Job opportunities and other facilities should be improved in the rural areas so that people can manage works in their own cities and villages other than coming to this city. The education and morality are two important aspects that help people understand the necessity of keeping the city clean and healthy.Similar Cue Card topics:Your ability to talk about this Cue Card Topic would enable you to talk about the following Cue Card Topics as well:1. 雅思大作文专项突破:城乡差距本文收集整理了雅思大作文专项突破:城乡差距。
这是目前常见的、高频的雅思写作话题,同学们在备考时可以边写边学,积累写作素材,以便在考试中更胸有成竹。
Topic 29: Some findings have revealed that cities around the world are growing large. Could you outline the possible causes and predict consequences?概述:城市化是一个越来越受关注的社会问题。
城市化(urbanization or urban sprawl)是指农村地区建立城镇,或者是城市不断地向农村扩展(expansive growth of a metropolitan area)。
解决城市化负面影响的措施:保护和提升自然和文化资源(preserve and enhance natural and cultural resources);保持当地的城市风貌和文化(protect the local landscape and culture);确保新的建筑项目不会破坏乡村的风景和生态系统(prevent any damage to rustic scenery and ecosystems);发展基础设施的建设(upgrade infrastructures),使人们具有更强的环保意识(make people environmentally conscious),譬如说,城巿新发展的地区可以鼓励人们步行或便用自行车(make areas of urban sprawl walkable or bicycle-friendly)另外,城乡差距(widening gap between urban and rural areas)也是一个常考的问题城乡差距主要体现在:收入差距(the income gap/disparity between urban residents and rural residents),财富分配的不平均;乡村缺乏获得教育的途径(lower access to education),文盲率较高(higher illiteracy);医疗资源主要集中在城市(medical resources concentrated in cities);疾病的爆发导致生产力的损失(national productivity suffers);资源投人的不平衡——乡村缺乏各种基本设施和服务,比如电力、能源供应(electricity and fuel supply)、公路、电话和网络(access to telephones and the Internet)等;城市人口密度更大(population density);就业机会更多(more job opportunities)。

大作文话题素材练习参考答案:(1) The government’s investment in artistic projects is considered unnecessary and taxpayers may object to it. In many countries, the government’s budget is limited. People hope that the government’s money can be spent on public services that are more closely related to their welfare. For instance, if the government invests more in building subways, people can have more conveniences in travelling. By establishing more hospitals, the government can provide better medical services for its citizens.(2) Advocates believe that opening the course of history in school is beneficial to students’ all-around development. By learning history, students would have a wider scope of knowledge and a broader view of life. They can draw on the experience and learn a lesson from the history. It can also enhance students’ sense of identity. In most countries, students are required to understand the history of their own countries. For example, a Chinese student would feel proud of his motherland after he understands the splendid civilization created by ancient Chinese people.(3) The goal of higher education is to cultivate useful members for the society. Well-educated people should use their knowledge and skills to serve the society. For instance, university students should be encouraged to get involved in voluntary work in the community. By helping other people, they would realize what role they can play and how they can contribute to the society. However, in today’s society, many children are spoilt by their parents at home and they only care about their own feelings and interests. These people would not benefit the society after their graduation. Therefore, moral education should be emphasized in the university. (4) Some people claim that technological advance is partly responsible for the deteriorating environment. The wide use of machines and home appliances increases the consumption of energy and most of the energy is provided by the burning of fossil fuels. Apart from air pollution, using the fossil fuels also emits greenhouse gas, the culprit of global warming. If theissue of climate change cannot be addressed, the seal level would rise and it may lead to disastrous consequences.(5) However, when we demolish the old buildings, we should also consider their historical and cultural value and avoid indiscriminate destruction. For instance, many courtyard houses in Beijing represent the architectural feature of this ancient city and they have been passed on for hundreds of years. These old houses have become the cultural identity of Beijing, attracting a large number of visitors from home and abroad every year. For buildings of this kind, the government should invest in preserving them, even though sometimes this job may be costly.(6)Eating fast food or convenience food is an important reason for health problems, as these foods contain high quantities of oil and calories. Excessive consumption may lead to overweight and nutritional deficiencies. However, these foods are still popular among office workers, who are usually too busy to cook by themselves. Also, due to the widespread use of computers in workplaces, more and more people spend long hours sitting in front of the screen and lack physical exercise. This sedentary lifestyle can seriously damage people’s health, leading to nearsightedness and pain in the back and waist. Another possible reason is that once people get addicted to a bad habit, it is difficult for them to give it up, even though they are aware of its harmful effects on health. A good example of this is smoking. People may make various excuses to continue smoking, but addiction to nicotine is perhaps the real cause.(7) The rapid growth of aged population poses a series of problems to the society as a whole. After retirement, pension is the major source of income for most senior citizens, which means the government has to increase its budget to support them. Also, aged people are prone to diseases and need care and companionship. To meet their demand, more hospitals and nursing homes need to be constructed. Therefore, the increasing aged population may lead to an economic burden on the government and on taxpayers. Another problem is the decline of laborforce, as the percentage of retired people increases. The shrink of working population may affect the productivity and slow down the economy in a certain period.(8) It is justified for the government to invest in artistic projects because people need arts in their lives. Artistic activities can relieve people’s stress and release their negative emotions. I n the modern society, many people get tired of the fast pace of life and want to find some time to relax. On the weekend, they may go to the concert hall or theatre, where they can entertain themselves and forget their business in their lives. Without arts, life would be dull and boring and many people may have psychological problems due to the high stress.(9) Compared with watching TV, reading leaves people more room for imagination. When we read the description of the scenery, we tend to visualize it in our minds. As people have different understanding about written words, the pictures we can see in our minds vary from person to person. By contrast, if the picture is shown on the screen, it is the same in our eyes. Therefore, the TV audience tends to accept what they see passively, as their imagination is restricted by pictures presented before them.(10) Some people believe that crimes cannot be eliminated, if we look into the underlying causes of this problem. For example, in many countries, the gap between the rich and poor is widening, which is responsible for many economic and violent crimes. Poor people may choose to steal or rob, because they think the gap is unjustified. In addition, studies show that a small portion of people have anti-social character due to their genes or the environment in which they grow. It is difficult to identify these people and stop them from committing crimes.(11) The rapid development of international tourism may cause damage to the local environment. Some scenic spots and historical sites are so popular that every year they are visited by a huge number of tourists. Morefacilities need to be built to accommodate so many tourists and the construction work may have an adverse effect on the ecological environment. Some tourists show inappropriate behavior, like shouting, littering or damaging cultural relics.(12) Moreover, when travelling in a foreign country, tourists may violate the local customs, sometimes because they have no knowledge about these. Some people have prejudice or discrimination against the customs that are different from their own. Because of the cultural difference, the tourists’ behavior may be misunderstood by local people. In some cases, it may lead to tension or conflict.(13) Many people rarely see their friends and relatives in real life and they only talk on the Internet. The Internet appears to have dominated their social lives. As a consequence, their relationships become alienated. What is worse is that a growing number of teenagers get addicted to socializing in the virtual space, which affects the development of their social skills. These children may become isolated and have difficulty in communicating with people in real life.(14) It is generally believed that a person’s experience and wisdom grow with age, so older people are more suitable for important positions in public and commercial organizations. They can do better in handling complicated problems and making important decisions. Older people tend to serve the company for many years and be familiar with a certain field, which gives them an advantage in leading others. Also, compared with older people, younger people are thought to be less responsible and considerate. This is why we trust older people more than younger people when we elect leaders.(15) Many branded products are manufactured by large companies. These companies tend to hire celebrities and popular stars to advertise their products. People would buy these famous brands because they admire these celebrities. When they use these brands, they would feel closer totheir idols. Using famous brands is a symbol of taste and social status, even if their quality is the same as ordinary brands. Some people spend a lot of money on branded clothes, shoes, cosmetics, etc. Even those who cannot really afford to buy these products also follow the trend.(16) In addition, some projects are of strategic value for the development of the country, involving large investment and long-term effort. For example, the outer space programs should be organized by the government and they are beyond the capacity of any private companies. Some projects do not generate profit in the short term and therefore, no private companies are willing to invest in such projects.(17) According to the research of genetic sciences, human psychology and mental development are heavily influenced by his genes. Everyone has some characteristics that he inherits from parents. Some children are born to be quiet, while some other children are more active. If a very young child likes to play violent games, or often gets into fight with others, it means he is prone to violence. This character is associated with his genetic factor, which cannot be changed. He is more likely to end up in prison than his peers when he grows up. Therefore, some crimes are indeed linked to the genes of criminals.(18) A person's inborn character does not necessarily lead to crimes and we should consider other factors that affect a person's growth. A person's personality and behavior are the result of the interaction of nature and nurture. If a child can receive proper education, particularly learn to distinguish right and wrong, they are less likely to go astray in their adolescence and adulthood. A good example is that many children who are born to be violent choose to be policemen when they grow up. Some children are perhaps "evil" by nature, but they can also become useful members of the society, provided that they are educated to be kind, responsible and considerate.(19) Some people argue that the effect of punishment is limited and other measures should also be implemented. To begin with, some public service advertisements should be produced, which could raise people’s awareness of road safety. By watching these advertisements, people would realize how important it is to obey traffic laws. Considering the fact that many accidents are relevant to the poor road facilities, these facilities need to be well maintained or replaced. For example, the authorities need to fix some broken traffic lights or broaden some narrow roads.(20)There is no doubt that improving people’s living environment can help them stay healthy and r esist diseases. A good example is that the incidence of lung cancer has risen rapidly in recent years, which is believed to be relevant to smoggy weather. If the government could invest in developing and promoting clean fuels, air quality could be improved and the diseases caused by air pollution would decline. Poor housing condition is also responsible for some diseases. Many people live in an overcrowded environment and the sanitary condition is worrying. A possible method would be for the government to build better houses or provide better facilities in their communities.(21) Tax policy is an effective way for the government to address the disparity of income. The widening gap between rich and poor people has caused a host of social problems such as moral decline and crimes. By levying higher tax on high-income groups and using the money to improve poor people’s living standard, the social wealth could be redistributed and wealth gap would be narrowed.(22) The advantages of online museums are obvious. The admission is free and the museum can be open 24 hours a day, so people can visit it anytime. This is particularly important in the modern society, where most people are busy with their work. They can have easy access to exhibitions from home, while in order to visit a real museum, they may need to travel a long distance and queue up for a long time. Some objects are fragile, but in the virtual museum, the visitors can observe the exhibits with some technical means, not worrying about breaking the objects. The cost of maintainingthe virtual museum is quite low, but it can allow more people to acquire knowledge in nature, history and culture.(23)As the administrator of the society, the government has the obligation to regulate people’s behavior. If people’s behavior affects others or has a negative social impact, it is justified for the government to intervene, which conforms to the interests of the general public.(24)In the factory, machines and robots can replace workers and do those boring and repetitive jobs. The efficiency would be much higher and the quality of the product would be stable. It can create more wealth and raise people’s living standard. People would have more time for leisure and entertainment. Life would become comfortable and enjoyable, as those machines and robots would look after everything for us.(25)By watching news programs, people can supervise the government's work and urge the government to prevent corruption. For example, some corrupted officials are strictly punished by the law after their luxurious lifestyles are revealed by the news media. Also, watching news reports enables people to get involved in social affairs and become responsible citizens. A good example is that when the natural disaster happens, the media can report the news to the general public, who can donate aid for victims immediately.。
