设计主题Unit2 How often do you exercise? (Section B1a—1e)

一、教学背景分析

教材分析:

本单元的话题是“课余活动”Section A 学习频率副词的用法;对某人从事某一活动的频率进行询问和应答,单位时间内频率次数的表达及相关问答;一些课余活动的表达法,并就这些活动的相关信息进行交流。Section B进一步拓展了Section A的话题,从“课余活动的频率”过渡谈论“日常饮食和其他生活习惯”。继续深入学习Section A 所学的语言结构,饮食词汇(短语)的滚动呈现,以及词汇、表达法的扩充也成为这一部分的重要内容。

活动1a-1b集中呈现了六个有关食物和睡眠的单词,这些单词中只有只有sleep, junk food, coffee 是新词其他都是学过的因此这里词汇的学习对学生来说不会很难,关键是如何引导学生运用本单元目标语言开展对话,巩固这些词汇,为1c-1d的听力活动做好词汇方面的准备。活动1c和1d采用分层设计,先让学生抓住听力材料的核心问题,在关注细节信息。活动1e让学生通过角色扮演再现听力对话,从而巩固听力理解,发展口语技能。

学情分析:

本人任教的是乳源县大桥中学的八(3), (4)班,由于本校是一所乡镇中学,学生的基础较为薄弱,学生的水平也参差不齐,因此在平时的教学中要兼顾到各个层次的学生。经过七年级一年的英语学习学生各方面的能力都有了很大的提高,也养成了良好的学习英语的习惯。大部分能够听懂基础和常用的课堂用语和一些指令,课堂上能用一些简单的英语和老师交流,这两个班的学生和老师的关系很融洽。大部分学生学习英语的兴趣浓厚,积极性高,课堂上踊跃参与教学活动;课后能够做好常规的预习和复习;但也有部分学生性格内向,害羞不乐于参与课堂活动,加之基础薄弱渐渐表现出对英语学习的畏难心理。因此,对这部分学生在课内外要给予更多的关注和学习方面的指导。在平时的教学设计和教学活动要充分考虑并搭建足够的“脚手架”让学生更加容易和乐于参与课堂教学。

学生在七年级学习了一般现在时而本单元也是在复习和运用一般现在时的基础上谈论相关的话题,与本单元相关的一些食品单词和课余活动的短语学生也在七年级学了很多。因此本课时的另一重点是提供一些活动通过整合教材让学生能够复习旧知识并运用新的语言结构使学生的能力和技能得到训练和提高。

1.能够掌握频度副词和表示频度的短语的用法。

2.能够用能够用本课时的语言结构和词汇写一篇关于自己生活饮食习惯的小作文。

教学难点:

1.能够掌握听力技巧完成听力任务。

2.能够继续学习和巩固频度副词和表示频度的短语的用法。

四、教学方法分析

教学方法:情景导入法,合作学习法;活动探究法;启发式教学法,归纳总结法。

五、教学手段

充分利用图片、视频、文字材料、问题等融合的多媒体手段呈现和组织教学活动。
