C:Nice to meet you too! How are you today?
J:Fine,thank you. The holiday is coming. We will go back home. Where is your hometown?
C:I come from Zhejiang Wenzhou. That’s a nice city. What about you?
J:How amazing! We are from the same city.Wenzhou is a wonderful city in china! As far as I am concerned, Wenzhou is a rich city in Zhejiang province.
C:Yeah! Wenzhou is Zhejiang’s economic center as well as the most important center in Zhejiang for international trade and communications. You know, quite a lot of foreign trades in China depend on Wenzhou these years and Whenzhou improved economy of Zhejiang as well.
J:By the way, Wenzhou has almost 1 milion inhabitants.So the traffic isbad in the city centre.
C: Not really. Cars are not permitted in several parts of the city centre, especially in the main shopping areas. The public transport system is pretty good.
J:Exactly,this is the important point for urban development. In addition, Wenzhouness have something in common. For instance, they are good at earning money. With their clever
minds, theydetected business opportunities and theyare also hard-working. Everybody said that Wenzhouness are Chinese Jews. Thanks to the common traits of Wenzhouness, the cityhas become Zhejiang’s economic center.
C:Right, but the cost of living is highin our city.
J:Well,Wenzhou is quite an interesting place to live in.The best thing to do in my city is togo shopping.Thereare several indoor and outdoor markets, as well as department stores and shopping malls.
C:As a matter of fact, I’d like to go shopping in the Mixc, there are so many delicious food , various stores and so on.
J:Are the goodsexpensive?
C:Of course. Although the economy is not good,people can buy things at a lower price because of special sales.
J:Perhaps you live around the Mixc?
C:Yes,you are right, if you come to the Mixc ,I can treat you. J: OK, when do you have time?
