Happiness
Happiness is a feeling.It is the goal we try to achieve in ou life.As far as I am concerned,happiness is simple.However,many people don’t know the true meaning of happiness,which leads to unhappiness.The following is the definition of happiness in my mind.
Happiness doesn’t mean that you have lots of money,but you ,your relatives and friends are all safe and sound；happiness doesn’t mean that you know swarms of people,but when you are in trouble,someone will appear and help you spontaneously in time. Happiness doesn’t mean that you have a big and grand house,but your family members love each other and will never leave you no matter what happens.
Therefore,happiness is simple.If you think you are happy,you certainly are,but if you think you are not happy,maybe you are really not happy at all.Happiness has nothing to do with your wealth.It lies in your mind.Then how should we pursue happiness?
Firstly,we’d better learn to be satisfied.It bings a story to my mind.There was a boy whose family was quite poor.One day,when he went out with his mother,he complained all the way that he didn’t have a pair of shoes.He didn’t stop complaining until he saw a disabled man without feet.We can imagine the boy’s feeling when he
saw the disabled man.Therefore,we shouldn’t ask for too much from pared with the disabled man,how lucky and happy the boy was!Secondly,we can acquire happiness by helping others.When we give someone a hand when he needs it,we will have a sense of achievement and feel happy for the one helped by us.At the same time,we will also find that life can be so nice.Therefore,in my opinion,happiness means more giving than receiving.
