S:Yes,the weather is so nice.
C:Janet, would you like a cup of coffee?
P:No ,thank you.

C:It’s 3:00,let’s start our meeting.Since the company has gained a sharp increase of profit in the last few months.The board has been considering to give a 30% increase in capital to the Sales department ,and 10% to the Promotion department.I’d like to hear you opinions.
P:I’m very happy to hear about this decision.As we know,our promotion department has met several setbacks during the past few months.So I’d like to know if we can get more increase of capital so that we can be back to normal soon.
C:The problems the promotion department face is rather critical.What’s your idea about the decision.Kate?
S:Though the Sales department is working smoothly,we also need some increase to achive more progress.Maybe we can move some of our increase of capital to Janet’s department.
C:That’s constructive!!About the final percentage,we’ll have further
discussion in the next meeting.

P:Our promotion department is so important,but we only get 10%.However the Sales department gets 30%!!I don’t think it’s fair.
