"what"和"how"引导的感叹句
感叹句一般是用来表示说话时的喜悦、惊讶等情感。英语感叹句常用"what"和"how"引导,"what"和"how"与所修饰的词置于句首,其它部分用陈述句语序。
一、W hat引导的感叹句的中心词是名词。由what引导的感叹句,其句子结构可
分为以下三种:
1. 可用句型:’What + a/an +形容词+可数名词单数+主语+谓语/be! ”。女口:What a nice prese nt it is!它是一件多么好的礼物啊!
What an in teresti ng book it is!它是一本多么有趣的书啊!
2. 可用句型:’What +形容词+可数名词复数+主语+谓语/be! \如:
What beautiful flowers they are!多么漂亮的花啊!
What good childre n they are!他们是多么好的孩子啊!
3. 可用句型:What +形容词+不可数名词+主语+谓语/be! \女口:
What fine weather it is today!今天天气多好啊!
What importa nt news it is!多重要的新闻啊!

注意:1)What结构中的名词若为单数可数名词,要用不定冠词a/an,而不用the; 2).若为复数或不可数名词(常见不可数名词:work, weather, fun,等),则名词前不用冠词a/an.
3)死记住What fun! What great fun!
二、H ow引导的感叹句的中心词是形容词或副词。由how引导的感叹句,其常
见句子结构为:
1. 可用句型:’How +形容词/副词+主语+谓语动词/be动词!”。
如:How careful she is!她多么细心啊!
How bad the weather is!
How fast he runs!他跑得多快啊!

注意:How后面到底跟形容词还是副词关键在于句子的谓语动词是行为动词还是系动词,如为系动词则用形容词,否则用副词。
how结构中主语如果是名词,常常前面要用定冠词the
三•感叹句在表示激动强烈的感情时,口语中常常采用省略句,其后面的主语和谓语往往可以省略。

方法:
1. what引导的感叹句的主语只能是人称代词,而how引导的感叹句的主语不限。判断感叹句用what还是how引导,应记住what后面跟的是名词短语,该名词前常有形容词修饰;而how后面跟的是形容词或副词,之后才是句子的主语和谓语等。换
言之,找准感叹句中的主语是判断what和how的关键。
