As she ran out of the castle, she left behind one of her slippers, which the prince picked up and declared he would marry the woman it fit.And so the prince and his soldiers went around the kingdom, trying the slipper on every eligible woman. Eventually, they arrived at Cinderella's stepsister's home and tried the slipper on both of them, but neither of them could fit the slipper.
