今天我演讲的题目是《保护地球》，保护环境的意识是我们每一个人应该时刻都有的。我走在水泥路上，望着刺眼的太阳，再看地上的垃圾，我们人类终究还能还有多少个年月？春夏秋冬，四季都是片无生机。春天，我回老家，黄河两旁全是垃圾，牛奶盒、烟头、塑料袋、包装盒、袋、未吃完的食品等垃圾遍地都是，一眼望去犹如一个垃圾场。夏天，走路，一步一声响，满地都是雪糕袋。秋天，地上都是水果皮比如：橘子皮、香蕉皮、柿子皮??冬天大雪纷纷，地上全是小树们的“胳膊”和“手”，树上的雪全被弄得所剩无几了。看着，在此我向大家提几条倡议：
1.爱护好自己身边的环境。
2.为保护森林、矿产等自然资源，尽量购买使用再生材料制成的、可多次长期使用的商品；减少使用一次性纸杯、一次性木筷和餐盒等。
3. 不要乱扔垃圾，不随地吐痰。
4.减少使用塑料袋，它是白色污染的元凶。
5.自觉保护生态环境，积极参与绿化美化活动。
为人类的明天，大家请保护地球村吧，地球村是我们的家园，请不要在破坏家园了。为我们的子孙留下一片美妙的家园。个人的行动肯定是微不足道的，但全球有几十亿人，若大家都来保护地球，人类的明天肯定是美好的。

写倡议书的目的: 提倡开展某项有意义的活动、推行某种行之有效的作法。
倡议书中所倡导进行的活动应具有其广泛性和推广意义。
criteria of an effective proposal:

concise
quickly getting to the point
i. content:
1. 在第一行正中标题处写出倡议的内容，字体较正文稍大。
2. 左边顶格写对倡议对象的称呼。
ii. structure
1. introduction 发出倡议的根据、原因和目的。
（statement of the problem; how serious is the problem; summary of the proposed solution----in brief, what solution do you propose?）
2. body 所倡议的具体内容和要求。
(what do you want done? how should it be done? what things or people are needed? when? how much will it cost?)
3. conclusion 要表示倡议者的决心和希望
(benefits—how will the proposal help the person reading the letter
a call to action—what do you want the reader to do)
4. 结尾处要写上发倡议者的姓名和发出倡议的日期，通常写在右下角。
iii. 写倡议书时，尽量使用具有鼓动性和感召力的语言，如名人名言、格言、警句、以及对偶、排比等句式，以提高语言的表达效果。例如，在倡议书的结尾使用下列句子就可起到很好的效果。
