Suggest的用法小结
1．表示“建议”：
•suggest + sth或suggest + sth + to sb，但不能加双宾，不能说suggest sb sth eg：We suggest the plan to him. (√)
We suggest him the plan. (Χ)
•suggest + doing sth，但不可以加不定式
eg: He suggested going out for a walk. (√)
He suggested to go out for a walk. (Χ)
•suggest + (that )+主语+(should) do + sth 其中的should 可以省略(虚拟) eg: He suggested that you should go there tomorrow.
=He suggested you go there tomorrow.
•It is suggested that +主语+(should )do sth (虚拟)
eg: It is suggested that the work (should) be finished at once.
•suggestion做主语时，用法同上(虚拟)
The suggestion is that +主语+should +do sth
eg: His suggestion is that I should leave for Beijing immediately.
2.suggest 表示“暗示或表明”：
•引导表语从句用陈述语气
eg: Her yawn suggested that she was sleepy.

• a wish for sth 希望有(得到)某物。
We all have a wish for peace.
•wish to do sth 想(愿意)做某事。
He has a wish to go abroad.
She expressed a wish to be alone.
•wish for sth 希望有(得到)某物。
He wishes for a computer.
•wish sb sth 祝愿某人有某物。
I wish you success.
They wished us a pleasant journey.
•wish sb (sth) to do sth 希望某人(某事)做某事。
I wish you to come early.
Do you wish me to leave now?
We wish the work to be done tomorrow.
•wish to do sth 希望(想要)做某事。
I wish to go with her.
