fruit. For dinner, I might have grilled chicken with
roasted vegetables and quinoa. Snacks throughout the day
could include nuts, fruit, or a protein bar.
Another important aspect of maintaining a balanced diet is portion control. It is easy to overeat, especially when
consuming foods that are high in calories. One way to
control portions is to use smaller plates and bowls. This
creates the illusion of a full plate, but with smaller
portions.
Lastly, it is important to indulge in moderation. It is
okay to have a treat every once in a while, but it should
not become a daily habit. For example, I might have a small
piece of chocolate after dinner as a treat, but I do not
indulge in high-calorie desserts every day.
