它可以表达丰富生动的英语教学内容,培养学生正确的语音语调。
在小学英语教学中,chant有着奇妙的作用。
课前运用chant“热身”,可以激发学生的英语学习兴趣;课中巧用chant学习单词、句型,可以加深学生对新知识的记忆;借助chant让学生学以致用,可以舒缓在学习过程中产生的枯燥情绪;此外,运用chant归纳总结还可以增强学生对新知识的理解。

在小学英语教学中,我们常常把chant理解为“歌谣”或者“童谣”,甚至还有点像说唱乐。
《义务教育英语课程标准(2011版)》规定的一级目标中指出:学生能唱简单的英文歌曲,说简单的英语歌谣;二级目标中也指出:学生能根据是强制,而是激发学生的兴趣。
”在每节课开始的热身准备阶段,教师依据教学内容, 从教学目标出发把需要学生掌握的单词、句子配以学生熟悉的曲调,或者复习旧知,带领学生来一首chant,既可以活跃课堂气氛,激发学生的兴趣,又可以巧妙自然地引出新的授课内容。
例如,笔者在执教教科版新版小学《英语》(四年级下册)Unit 5 What day is it today? 时,在课的拓展课上,学生在复习巩固本课要求掌握的颜色单词和课文后,注意力已渐渐不能保持。
此时,笔者设计了一个以调的时装秀;先在多媒体课件上呈现句型、图片,然后和一个学习能力强的学生进行示范,看图并分、有效、创造性地运用教材中的插图。

如何让学生尽快地投入到最佳的学习状态呢?课前,我们不妨让学生唱一二首英语歌曲或说一段英语歌谣,以集中学生的注意力,促使学生快速回到英语课堂。
课中,也可以插入英文歌谣,以吸引学生的注意力,保持乐学的状态。
课末,歌曲和歌谣可把课堂教学推向高潮,使学生以饱满的情绪结束一节课的紧张。
如学习PEP Book 4 Unit 3 Part B Is this your skirt?关于服装类的单词(Jeans, pants, shorts, socks, shoes)这一课时,就可以采用“Colour song”导入(Book 1关于颜色单词时已学过):Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue.I can sing a rainbow, sin g a rainbow, sing a rainbow now.”此歌曲不仅起到调动学生学习英语的情绪,营造轻松、愉快的学前气氛,而且还为新知描述事物的颜色作一定的铺垫。
到课中,5个新单词新授完之后,学生在读读、记记的学习过程中已处于一定的疲劳状态,所以插入一首歌谣:My shirt is red. My socks are white.My jacket is blue. My shoes are too.My dress is old . My pants are old.My sweater is new. My shorts are new.此歌谣起到消除学生的疲劳学习状态,集中学生的注意力,也巩固了新学单词。

一、英语口语教学的现状第一就是由于老师太多依赖教材,使英语口语的教学方法很难得到改善。
长期以来,我国的英语教学一直以来都是以应试教育为主,学生学习英语都是为了记住生单词、弄清楚英语的语法结构,但是这种英语教学方法却没有注意到英语口语表达能力的培养,虽然我们已经学习了好多年的英语,可是在生活中我们仍然不会用英语进行表达。
第二,在英语教学中老师能够依靠的资源就只有英语教材,在教学中没有其他的教学辅助的手段,这样就会降低学生学习英语的热情和兴趣,在课堂上学生由于害怕自己说错,而不敢用英语说话,然而放学以后,在课堂中所学的英语在生活中又很难再用到,所以放学后,学生更是不可能对英语口语进行练习。
这样就会对学生学习英语的态度和上进心造成不良的影响。
根据上面提出的问题,本文将对运用于英语口语的教学中说唱Chant的歌谣教学方法进行研究和探讨。
老师通过细心地准备、共同商量和策划,能够使说唱Chant的歌谣教学方法来使学生适应,使学生能够接受。

新颁布的《英语课程标准》(实验稿)明确提出了歌曲和歌谣教学的目标与要求:一级(三、四年级)要求能唱简单的英文歌曲15-20首,说歌谣15-20首;二级(五、六年级)要求能表演歌谣或简单的诗歌30-40首,能演唱英文歌曲30-40首。
可见,歌曲与歌谣教学在小学英语教学中并不是可有可无的,而是占有相当重要的地位。
那么歌曲与歌谣在小学英语教学中的作用具体表现有哪些呢?1.提高学生的兴趣,调动学生的积极性。
在教学中数字是比较枯燥乏味的,为了增加学生的兴趣,在教学数字1、2、3、4、5。
时,也改编了一学生熟悉的歌谣:One, two, three, four, five.上山打tiger.Tiger没打着.打着squirrel .Squirrel有几只.让me 数一数.One, two, three, four, five.在教学完五官名称后,通过改编《两只老虎》来巩固单词,使枯燥的单词变得更加有趣,富有表演:两只tiger ,两只tiger,run 得快,run 得快,一只没有ear,一只没有eye,真奇怪,真奇怪。

二、“Chant”在小学英语教学中的巧用根据笔者本人教学经验,在小学英语教学中,“Chant”的应用优势包括以下几点:1、巧用Chant,吸引学生注意力。
学生在朗读Chant时,对于知识点的理解更加便捷。
比如,在小学pep六年级上学期书本中,在2单元《Ways to go to school》教学中,教学重点为交通相关的单词和句型,在教学过程中,教师要求学生重复跟读单词和语句,部分学生逐渐出现不集中问题。
为了吸引学生的注意力,积极主动的参与学习环节,笔者创作的Chant如下:Bus,bus,I go home by bus.Train,train,I go to Beijing by train.Foot,foot, I came to work on foot.Taxi,taxi,I go to the garden by taxi.Car, car,I go to supermarket by car.2,巧用Chant,提高学生自信心。
小学英语歌谣集两年前,我校英语的起始年级是三年级,由于农村家长对小学外语学习的重视程度不够,缺少环境,辅导跟不上,参加课外补习的少,学生基础参差不齐。
为了解决教学中低年级同学认读单词差的问题,在县教科所的指导下,我进行“背歌谣,记单词”策略的研究,当时研究对象是三年级同学,所使用的教材是人教版PEP教材,取得了非常好的研究成果。
学生识记单词的效率大大提高。
而且,学生对背儿歌兴趣浓厚,班级学习英语的氛围日渐增强。
因此,当这个小课题结题时,我开始思考:如果能把小学生学习英语中遇到的不易掌握知识点都编成歌谣,譬如,语法知识、语音知识、重点句型等,那将会对学生小学阶段的英语学习起到很大的帮助。
在这想法的驱使下,我开始了分类编写工作。
主要分为这样几个种类:字母歌谣篇、低幼歌谣篇、语法篇、语音篇、牛津英语chant篇. 其中前四类适合各种版本的教材,牛津英语chant篇是以上海版牛津英语教材为依据(因为我县现行教材是上海版牛津英语教材),主要解决学生口语表达困难的问题,有利于帮助学生形成正确的语音、语调、语感。
文中分别用3A 、3B、4A 、4B标出(3A 表示三年级上册,3B表示三年级下册,以此类推)。
由于自己的水平有限,所以对各个类别,尤其是对语法、语音方面总结还不是很全面,如在文中有何不妥或错误之处,望批评指证。

使用英语歌谣,促进英语教学摘要:在小学英语教学课堂中培养学生核心素养的价值较为突出,有助于凸显英语的素质教育特征。
为了使每个学生能够激发对课程学习的兴趣,在班级教学中,教师要加强对趣味化教学模式的科学实施,利用英语歌谣来构建灵动课堂教学体系,与课本知识进行相互的衔接,逐步的推动英语教学模式的创新发展,激发学生学习动力。
关键词:核心素养;小学英语;歌谣教学在小学英语教学课堂中,教师在以核心素养为主开创歌谣教学模式时,需要和学生当前的学习兴趣进行相互的协调,为学生融入最为感兴趣的内容来进行有效的学习,帮助学生解决在学习时存在的各项问题,扩展学生的学习领域,为学生的学习活动提供重要的帮助,提高英语教学的效果。
一、小学英语歌谣教学的现状虽然教师在以往教学中为学生进行了歌谣教学,但是从实际情况来看存在的问题较为突出,因此教师认真地剖析以往教学中产生的各项矛盾之后,再优化课堂教学体系,遵循课优化的思路,使每个学生学习能力能够得以充分地提升。
在以往小学英语歌谣教学中,教师并没有认真地分析歌谣教学的必要性,只是为学生单调地来选取英语歌谣让学生进行练习,由于教师所选取的歌谣内容缺乏一定的教育性,并且也是学生不熟悉的内容,导致学生学习兴趣在逐渐地下降,无法实现英语知识和歌谣之间有效联动,导致课堂教学效果在逐渐地下降。
并且在班级教学中教师也采取了单一式的教学模式,比如先让学生熟悉歌谣的旋律,之后再为学生展示歌谣的单词,教师再带领学生来进行演唱,并且让学生勾画出其中的英语单词。
当学生大概了解和熟悉这部分内容之后,教师让学生进行跟唱,这是当前大多数英语教学中歌谣教学的主要模式。
虽然学生能够掌握基础英语知识,但是学生在学习时无法全面地激活自身的学习兴趣,并且整个英语教学模式太过固定,学生只是为了完成教师所布置的任务而进行学习的,无法全面地锻炼学生当前的学习能力以及英语素养[1]。
使歌谣教学很难发挥重要的价值,导致学生很难快速地把握课本中的核心知识,影响学生学习能力的提升。

所以说,音乐歌曲是一种语言,它是用来表达思想感情的特殊艺术手段。
英语歌谣是一种音乐。
歌谣轻快的节奏、简单的文字,能深烙在孩子脑海里,让孩子自然琅琅上口并反复吟唱,所以它正是低龄孩子练习说话、学习运用语言的好素材。
一、歌谣教学的作用。
1、英语歌谣能唤起儿童学英语的热情。
兴趣是最好的老师。
英语歌谣节奏明快,语句简洁,小孩唱起来琅琅上口。
如果小孩在歌唱时再配上简单的动作,他们就会又唱又跳,觉得学英语是一件好玩的事情,从而对英语产生浓厚的兴趣,学英语的热情也就大大提高。
歌谣中含有描述景象、塑造人物,以及表现情节,它常是一些幽默的故事,可为小孩带来无限的快乐,Old MacDonald Had a Farm;This Little Pig Went to Market;Star Light,Star Brigh t.等儿歌都蕴含生动情节,迷人景象。
学生在欢唱的同时也似乎在听动人的故事。
这样,小孩就会觉得学英语生动有趣,并不是一件枯燥乏味的事情。
2、英语歌谣能增进小孩英语语感,使其能以优美、流利的语调说出自然的英语。
学习一种英语,或多或少受到自己母语的影响或干扰,中国人学习英语,由于英语的发音部份与汉语不同,常常会碰到一些发音上的问题,如重音(stress)、节奏(rhythm)、连音(linking)、语调(intonation),而英语儿歌的唱诵对正确语音能力养成了重要作用。
英语语调的曲折升降犹如音乐曲调的委婉起伏,英语语音中的重读与轻读又象乐曲的轻拍与弱拍。
现代课程改革另一项内容就是要求教学内容接近学生生活,而英语歌谣通常取材于儿童日常生活的点滴,都是以儿童的自然语言写成。
应用歌谣教学与课程改革要求不谋而合。
3、英语歌谣能增进小孩对英美文化的了解。
语言依存于文化,不能脱离文化而单独存在,语言在学习也不能单是分析语法、记忆单字、朗诵课本,还需了解当地人民的生活习俗、社会价值和种种禁忌,这样的学习才能可持续进步。
教改教研新教师教学爱因斯坦说:“兴趣是最好的老师。
”尤其对与小学生而言,学习兴趣是他们求知的起点和源动力。
在小学英语教学过程中,教师要采用丰富的教学方法,激发学生的学习兴趣,从而培养他们学习英语的积极性和主动性。
Chant 即歌谣,作为常用的教学方法之一,因其句式简单,内容生动,节奏感强,轻松有趣,而深受小学生的喜爱。
在教学中,合理的运用chant ,可以有效地提高教学效率。
一、运用chant,活跃课堂氛围在英语教学中,chant 可以作为课前热身导入。
这样不仅易于激发学生的学习热情,而且能顺利地将学生带入英语学习的氛围中。
Chant 也可在课中使用,激活因机械性操练知识点而暂时沉闷的课堂。
二、借助chant,记忆单词单词教学是小学英语教学的重点之一。
但让活泼好动的小学生死记硬背单词,会让学生对英语学习产生抵触情绪。
因此教单词时,教师可将同一类的单词编写成生动的chant 。
这样既可以吸引学生巩固对单词读音的记忆,又能解决对单词含义遗忘率高的问题。
例如在教学有关颜色的单词时,我编写了:red 红,yellow 黄,blue 蓝色像海洋。
green 绿,purple 紫,orange 橙色桔子样。
white 白,black 黑,brown 棕色画座房。
gray 灰色请牢记,pink 粉红画女郎。
这样琅琅上口的chant ,帮助学生轻松愉快的记住了单词。
另一方面,chant 也可用在巩固记忆单词的写法上。
如学生在掌握了基数词写法的基础上,再学习序数词的写法时,就可借助chant :基变序,很容易,一二三,特殊记,th 从四起。
八去t 九去e ,遇到ve ,f 替。
ty 变为tie ,后加th 莫迟疑。
帮助学生找到规律,强化记忆。
三、利用chant,巩固操练句型在句型教学中,教师常会让学生用个别、小组等形式进行跟读或对话训练,帮助学生掌握句型。
但这样简单、刻板的练习不易吸引小学生。
教学效果可想而知。
而如果我们把所学句型编成生动的chant ,设计简单的动作,让学生边说边做。
许多英语歌曲简单易懂、旋律优美、节奏轻快,听了之后教学生唱,很容易就调动了课堂氛围。
如果能在教学中适当使用英语歌曲,改变一下上课的形式,这样学生更会期待上英语课,久而久之培养了对英语的兴趣。

《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》的语言能力一级(3~4年级)目标要求学生能感知单词、短语及简单句的重音和升降调等,有意识地通过模仿学习发音,大声跟读音视频材料;文化意识一级(3~4年级)目标要求学生有主动了解中外文化的愿望,在教师指导下,通过图片、配图故事、歌曲、韵文等获取简单的中外文化信息[1]。
教师要关注每个学生的情感,在教学中要通过听、说、读、写、唱、游、演、画、做等活动,激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生的英语应用能力。
而恰当运用英语歌曲歌谣就是小学英语教学的重要手段之一。
歌曲歌谣符合小学生的特点,易于激发小学生的想象力,它们的节奏、旋律通常会印在小学生的脑海里,吟唱起来朗朗上口,所以它们是小学中年级学生练习英语口语、学习语言的优质素材[2]。
一、歌曲歌谣对小学生学习英语的意义(一)语言方面歌曲歌谣对学生的语言学习能力提升有很大的促进作用,因为歌曲歌谣能给学生带来美的享受,为学生提供想象和创造的空间。
学生能借助歌曲歌谣发展听、说、读、写各项技能,通过学唱歌曲歌谣来解决遇到的语音语调等方面的问题。
歌曲歌谣的学习能帮助学生理解语言的真正内涵,锻炼学生的注意力、记忆力,增强学生的语感。
