在教学过程中，学生也普遍反映轮机英语比较难，花费的时间较多。

其实，只要方法得当及有针对性地复习，轮机英语的考试便可迎刃而解。

为了让更多的船员了解这门学科的考试形式和复习方法，以下做详细介绍。

一、轮机英语的考试题型第一部分：单项选择题（共82题，每题1分）第二部分：关联题（共三组短文，每组短文有4个小题，每题1.5分）考试题型曾经在2011年马尼拉公约相关的考试要求中增加翻译题和写作题。

但由于在2012年过渡期的轮机英语考试中大部分的考生都不及格，所以暂时取消了翻译题和写作题。

但有可能在过后的几年会逐渐增加这两种题型。

二、轮机英语的考试时间考试时间为100分钟。

由于单选题共82题，关联题共12题，总题量为94题，时间基本足够。

三、轮机英语的机考模式每个考生电脑中的考试题目均被打乱，有的考生第一道题为关联题，有的考生第一道题为单选题。

每个考生的考题都不完全相同。

但由于界面设置为可逆，所以考生可以对难题做标记，待其它题目完成后再对做标记的题目进行判断。
