My future profession
Sinc e we were young, we’ve been asked “what do you want to be when you grow up?” for so many times. And almost every time my answer was different. From where I stand, I think everyone’s ideal profession may change when his or her experience increases. Because people will understand themselves better when they encounter more things and they will discover which kind of jobs suits them most. So I’d like to talk about my ideal future profession for now.
I think my future profession will be an accountant and an amateur food taster(part-time). The reasons are following. Firstly, my major in university is mathematics, so I think I will be capable of obtain accounting qualification certificate. What’s more, I may be more sensitive about nu mbers than people who are competing with me in this position. Therefore, I think I will get praises of my boss more easily and get promotion in a much shorter time. Secondly, I am fancy of eating since I am a little child. And I’d love to try new things, s trange things. In my life I’ve developed a special and pick y taste and I can speak out the exact taste and feeling after eating something, which is necessary for a food taster in my opinion. So I’d like t o become a food taster during the break of my job and to discover something good for people and help people avoid buying something doesn’t taste good. After all, accountant is my major and food is my hobby, so this pattern of working is quite suitable for me. I want to be a person who is focus on work and enjoy in work. More importantly, to improve my life standard and make myself a better person instead of complaining about my job all day long. I
am sure I will handle both of my job well and deal with my time and life appropriately.
To be honest, I am not sure whether I will stick to my thoughts above in the following years. But I will do my best to find the profession which will enrich my life and I don’t hate it so much. Maybe I won’t have the profession I want, but I will work towards it continuously.
