当用occasion表示在某个/些场合时，它与介词 on连用
on these occasion (s)每逢这种场合 the same 表示情况相同
注意同一意思的多种表达方式 Why are you late? = What took you so long?
你为什么迟到?
1. at present 目前, 现在 = now = nowadays 到目前为止 up to now / up till now / up to the present day / so far / by far
②组合，指合唱团
band n.乐队(如零点乐队, 只有一个主唱)
★ pop singer 流行歌手 pop = popular通俗的”、“流行的”、“大众的” 流行歌曲 / 音乐 pop song / music Do you like pop songs/ music? 你喜欢流行歌曲／音乐吗？ 流行歌星 pop star
• arrive 一词除“到达”之意还有”来到“， “出生”之意
– 4、 They will be coming by train and most of the young people in the town will meeting them at the station.
• The young people in the town 镇上的年轻人。 • 介词短语修饰人要放在人的后面； • most of ：大部分；大多数的； • most of the book; most of the time; • 有of 就一定有the；没有of 就不用the. • Most books；most students； • most people（本就是复数不用加s）
• 注意以下几点：
• 1.most of后跟人称代词时，应用复数
形式的人称代词宾格。如：
• Most of them are going off to Guangzhou next week.他们中的多数人 都准备下星期去广州。
• 2. most前有定冠词时，可用来修饰多音 节形容词，表示最高级，意为"最"。如：
·人山人海 A river /sea of people
2、 At present, they are visiting all parts of the country. • At present=now：目前； • The doctor is very busy at present. Come here tomorrow morning. • 医生现在非常忙。你明天上午来吧。 • Up to now / so far：到现在为止； • Nowadays adv. 目前； • visit在句中作“巡演”来说，不是参观 • all在这里的意思是“各种的”、“各个”，与它通常 的意思（“所有的”或“一切的”）稍有不同：

• 演出5场：give five performances; during: prep介词： 在…期间

– 7、 As usual, the police will have a difficult time. They will be trying to keep order. It is always the same on these occasions.
• Most of the time we eat fish.绝 大部分时间我们都吃鱼肉。
• 5、 Tomorrow evening the greenwood boy will be singing at the workers’ Club
• 1） 在单数名词及不以-s结尾的人名后 加‘s；
• 2） 在规则的复数名字的-s后面加所有 格符号；
2. visit all parts of the country 全国各地巡回演出 visit 拜访, 参观, 歌手(巡演) (in) all parts of the world/country 世界/全国各地
3. will be doing … (将来进行时, 用于表示最近的将来正在进行的 动作或说话人设想已经安排好的事情.) will/shall+be+现在分词 We will be acting. 我们将要行动了

a group of 表示一群或一个团体 You can see a group of islands in the middle of

(介词短语作定语)
most of the young people = most young people
– They will be arriving here tomorrow.

Be arriving：将来到达这里；
• Will be doing：将来进行时态：理解为一般 将来时态的另一种形
• 将来进行时态的意思往往等于一般将来时态。
• We will be acting = we will act; 我们将要行 动了。
