四年级上册英语短语
我们一般说到鞋的时候都是指一双，只是有a pair of的时候是单数，没有a pair of就是复数。
课文里有一句话：These shoes are very nice.
就好像milk， tea， juice， coffee，这些都是不可数名词，用is，但是一旦前面又了量词修饰，例如：two glasses of milk 就变成复数了，但是milk还是不可数的。
量词变化了，是一双，当然用is啦。
所以：这儿有一些牛奶就要说：Here is some milk.而：这儿有两杯牛奶则要说：Here are two glasses of milk。
这些是鞋：These are shoes。这是一双鞋：This is a pair of shoes。
但是要注意两双鞋是 two pairs of shoes，就是复数了，两双嘛，不管怎么都应该知道是复数的，要提醒一下，只有pair of 才是单数，但后面的shoes 和socks的S不能少。

1. go + 动词ing（动名词）表示去从事某项活动
