湘鲁版小学英语教科书四年级下册第四单元Unit 4 What’s the weather like?一、教材内容分析:本节课是湘鲁版四年级英语下册第四单元What’s the weather like?的第一课时，是一篇新授课。
在英美国家，人们对于谈论天气有着特别的兴趣。
在他们看来，初次见面或在彼此不是很了解的情况下，谈论天气是最稳妥的办法。
英美人谈论天气，除个别情况是实实在在的想了解天气情况外，绝大部分情况都不是为了天气而谈论天气的，而是为了引入新的话题。
比如旅行的人们坐在车上，彼此互不认识，假如大家都默默地做着为面谈尴尬。
为了打破这种僵局，在英美人看来最方便、最安全的办法就是谈论天气。
因为对于天气这一话题，人人都可以发表见解，且不涉及他人私事，也不至于失礼或引起误解。
英国人尤其喜欢谈论天气，这与英国多变的天气情况有关，英国是世界上少有的几个天气多变的国家之一，往往上午还是阳光普照，下午就会大雨滂沱，一小时前还是晴空万里，一小时后就会大雾茫茫，因此天气成了英国人经常谈论的话题。
在我们国家在初学英语时，都会学习关于天气的句式。
事实上这也是我们自己也时常需要的一种语言调剂内容。
我们课本现在已经把关于天气的词语拓展的很宽了，例如：具体的教学内容是与天气有关的单词:hot, sunny,rainy, cold具体功能句型是询问有关天气的交际用语:What's the weather like?It's sunny/raining/hot/cold.二、学生情况分析:对于四年级学生来说，学习有关询问天气状况并不是一件难事，因为他们能够用已有的知识对所学的天气状况进行简单的交流与描述，但他们的头脑中缺乏对这些信息进行归类的意识，因此需要教师在这方面进行渗透和指导。
本班学生思维活泼，对英语学习有积极的热情，而且有较扎实的知识储藏。
但是班内也存在着两极分化的现象，有3-5名学生学习英语有一定的困难，需要在教学过程中给予更多的关注。
How is the Weather? 教案设计教学内容分析：本课是新授课,要求能使学生了解天气的英语表达方法，会使用What’s the weather like ?句型进行天气的询问并回答。
教学对象分析：本课的教学对象是四年级的学生。
四年级的学生活泼好动,勇于开口模仿，他们接触英语有两三年了，对英语有一定的基础和兴趣。
通过以往的学习，学生掌握了一些基本的句型和单词，能够进行简单的问候语和对话，学生还能听懂一些课堂用语和有秩序地进行教学游戏。
但学生控制能力差，有些学生基础不好,对英语没有多大兴趣,因此在这节课中我充分利用信息技术吸引学生的注意力、激发学生学习兴趣、培养学生的语言表达能力，让学生在轻松愉快的气氛中学习英语。

How’s the weather?教学背景：本课主要谈论有关天气状况的话题，以及根据不同的天气如何邀请朋友做一些相关的户外活动。
教学课题：How’s the weather?教学方法：1、创设情境，使学生在语言情境中体会使用语言。
2、运用课件或图片，学生更直观的理解认知词汇。
教学目标：1、能听说认读写下列单词及短语：sunny ,windy, cloudy,snowy, rainy, weather, get up,并能在日常生活中灵活运用。
2、会说会用这些句子：——how’s the weather?——it’s sunny/windy/rainy/snowy/cloudy.教学重难点：四会单词的掌握及句型的灵活运用。
教学用具：1、老师准备四会单词的词卡及图卡。
2、准备一张简单的中国地图，上面标出几个城市的天气情况。
教学过程：1、warming upA、 Let us sing a songB、师生互相激励：T: Are you ready ?Ss: yes . I’m ready.2、new presentation(1)老师带着学生看看窗外的天气，边看边问：“how’s theweather?”并出示词卡，拼读拼写单词wea---ther weather老师再根据窗外的天气，自问自答——how’s the weather?——it’s sunny/windy/rainy/snowy/cloudy.（2）展示地图，根据图上所标城市的天气情况，逐个展示出这几种天气：sunny ,windy, cloudy, snowy, rainy（3）通过问答，学生已经初步掌握了解描述天气的说法，然后分别用图卡和词卡拼读拼写单词。
（4）做对对碰游戏练习。
3、practise出示地图，将学生分成男女生两组，对地图上的城市进行问答练习。
4、homework写一段对话，要求内容包括问答的时间，天气及提及某项活动。
Lesson 1 How’s the weather第一课时本课主要谈论有关天气状况的话题，以及根据不同的天气状况如何邀请朋友做一些相关的户外活动。
一、教学目标(Teaching aims)1．能听、说、认、读、写下列单词及短语：sunny，windy，cloudy，snowy，rainy，weatherget up,并能在日常生活中灵活使用；2．能听懂、会说、会写、会用下列句型(1)It's time to get up.(2)How’s the weather today?二、教学重、难点(Key points and difficult points)本课所要求掌握的单词及句型。
三、教学用具(Preparations)教具：一幅标有几个城市天气状况的中国地图。
学具：学生画一些有关天气状况的图片。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)(一)复习导入1．师生互致问候，然后教师让学生进行值日汇报，包括以下内容：今天星期几，现在几点，自己的喜好等。
2．教师可出示日历，日历上显示星期、日期、时间及大气状况。
教师提出以下问题：(1)What's the time?(2)What day is today?学生回答后，可以让学生再相互问答。
(二)新授1．How's the weather today?首先老师出示关于天气状况的日历表，给学生讲解weather的意思。
然后出示一张图表，问学生：How’s the weather today?学生用中文或英文回答均可。
2．It’s sunny／windy／cloudy／snowy／rainy．(1)学生出示日历表，全班学生一起讨论关于日历表上的内容，包括星期、日期、时间，然后提到天气状况。
老师可以先出示准备好的关于sun，wind，cloud，snow，rain的图片，让学生指着每一幅图跟老师读。
接着老师讲解一些与大气状况有关的形容词,它们是在名词的后面加上-y构成的形容词。

询问天气的两个句型查询天气是我们日常生活中最常见的一件事，每天我们都会在不同时间问及当天的天气情况。
每当我们查询天气时，都会用到两个句型：“What's the weather like?”和“How's the weather?”。
“What's the weather like?”是一个比较常见的查询天气的句型，它是用来询问天气情况的。
这句话可以用来询问当前的天气，也可以用来询问未来的天气情况。
