Unit 14 Grammar focus讲解及练习1. Revision一般过去时用法:可以表示过去某一时间或某一段时间内发生的动作或存在的状态,也可以表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。
谓语部分要用动词的过去式。
标志性词汇:yesterday, the day before yesterday, ago, later, just now, at that moment,last, in 2021, in the past, every day last year等。
一般将来时用法:可以表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态,也可以表示将来经常或反复发生的动作。
构成:will / shall + 动词原形(注意:主语为第一人称时使用shall)标志性词汇:tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next, in five days, in the future, lateron, soon等。
“be going to +动词原形”也可以表示将要发生的动作或打算、计划、决定要做的事。
现在完成时用法:表示过去发生或者未发生的事对现在造成的影响或结果。
构成:主语+ have / has +过去分词+ …标志性词汇:just, ever, never, yet, already, for, since, so far, recently, twice, threetimes等。
宾语从句宾语从句即在复合句中充当宾语的句子。
连接词从句来源连接词备注陈述句that 口语或非正式文体中常省略一般疑问句if / whether特殊疑问句 连接代词:who; whom; whose; which; what 等 在句中担任主、宾、定或表语。
连接副词:when; where; why; how 等 在句中担任状语 宾语从句用陈述语序。
如:He is an honest boy. The teacher said.→The teacher said (that )he was an honest boy.Does he work hard? I wonder.→I wonder if/whether he works hard.When did he leave? I don’t know.→I don’t kn ow when he left.时态①主句是现在的时态,从句的时态可根据实际情况而定。

它表示动作发生的时间是过去的过去。

状语从句的谓语动词常用一般过去式。
eg:By the time I was six,I had started playing table tennis.到我六岁时,我已经开始学习打乒乓球了。
②表示从过去某一时间开始,持续到过去另一时间的动作或状态。
与“for+时间段”连用,谓语动词用延续性动词。
eg:He had been ill for a week when we learned about it.当我们知道这件事时,他已经病了一周了。
③主句谓语动词为一般过去时(如said,asked,found,told,thought等),其后的宾语从句通常用过去完成时。
eg:Mr. Zhang said that he had lived in this city for ten years.张先生说他已经在这个城市住了十年。
④在含有定语从句的复合句中,如果叙述的是过去的事,先发生的动作常用过去完成时。
eg:At that moment,I was replying to the e-mail that had arrived two days before.那时我正在回复两天前收到的电子邮件。
⑤在and或but连接的并列句中,如果前一个并列句为一般过去时,且后一个并列句中的动作早于前一个并列句中的动作,那么后一个并列句要用过去完成时。
