人教版选修六UNIT5 The power of nature词汇板块教学设计指导思想与理论依据主题语境是英语课程内容的六要素之一,涵盖人与自我、人与社会和人与自然,涉及人文社会科学和自然科学领域,为学科育人提供话题和语境。
主题语境在当前已成了英语学习活动的关键构成部分,其渗透于英语教学的整个过程当中,对于学生的学习习惯培养、文化素质提升以及思维品质改善均有着明显作用。
同样的词汇放到不同的主题语境中,可能会产生完全不一样的意义。
由此可见,对于词汇的学习不可脱离具体的语境来开展。
因此,在高中英语教学时,教师需要科学地把握好主题语境,将其融入词汇教学中,让学生的词汇学习效率得到良好提高。
主题语境人与社会----物质与非物质文化遗产语篇类型新闻报道教材分析本单元的中心课题是“大自然的力量”,延伸出来的话题是“描述火山喷发的场景”。
主课文借火山学家的口吻,叙述基拉韦厄火山喷发的场景,让读者从中体会到大自然的力量。
而笔者的授课内容是learning about language部分的三道练习题,这部分内容在本单元的作用就是对主课文出现的生词进行复习,反复操练,在文本中进行运用,并且重温本单元的中心话题“大自然的力量”,对前面第四单元”Global warming”部分重点词汇进行复习。
学情分析教师属于借班上课,跟学生们也是第一次接触。
学生来自于普通中学的平行班,能够做到新授单词的识记,简单的操练,复现,但如果是较长句子以及稍复杂的对话输出,比较困难,需要教师给与足够的辅助以及铺垫。
教学目标(1) 教师在导入过程中,围绕着中心话题“The power of nature”创设情境,通过图片展示不同的自然灾难.学生能够识别关于自然灾难的词汇,snowstorm;floods;drought;earthquake;typhoon;thunderstorm.(2)教师以learning about language第二道题的关于维苏威火山的文本为依托,创设情境,在情境中复现新词,不同形式反复操练巩固新词,学生能够熟悉本单元关于描写火山喷发的相关生词,volcano/volcanology/volcanologist;erupt/eruption;ash/lava/fountain/wave.(3)教师通过选取本单元主课文中关于火山学家的职业描述,创设情境,重点讲解本节课重点词汇,evaluate;appoint.学生能够掌握evaluate/evaluation的构词法以及能够熟练运用appoint tobe/appoint to do sth.(4)教师通过层层引导,辅助学生输出关于大自然的清单诗,学生能够感受到了大自然的强大,人类应该敬畏大自然。
