On A p ril 26,2003,he found him self in a very dangerous situation when clim bing in Utah.On that day,Aro n ’s arm was caught under a 2,000-kilo rock that fell on him when he was clim bing by him self in the mountains. Because he could not free his arm , he stayedthere for five days and hoped that someone would findhim. But when his water ran o ut,he knew that he wouldhave to do something to save his own life. He was not readyto die that day. So he used his kn ife to cut off half his right arm. Then , with his left arm , he bandaged him self so that he would not lose too much blood.
