2020年 9月上 世界有色金属141安康某钒钛磁铁矿工艺矿物学研究及可选性分析刘福源,刘 毅(陕西延长石油中陕金属矿业有限公司,陕西 西安 710000)摘 要:针对安康某钒钛磁铁矿矿石的特点,通过光学显微镜、XRD分析等多种手段对矿石开展了详细的工艺矿物学研究,查明了矿石的化学成分、矿物组成及主要矿物的产出形式,并开展了可选性试验和分析,为该矿的开发利用提供了理论和实践依据。

近20年来,高温高压实验在地幔矿物水的研究中扮演了重要角色。
本文根据近些年来的研究成果,对α、β和γ相橄榄石OH的赋存、储量、分配和典型的物理化学效应进行了简述,旨在让更多学者对相关领域有深入了解。
1.1 仪器设备高温高压实验中常用的设备主要包括:冷封釜、内加热釜、活塞-圆筒压机、多面砧压机和金刚石压腔等。
一些主要高温高压设备的温压范围及地球的分层结构见图1。
1.2 实验方案高温高压实验对地幔矿物含水性的研究,一般采用两种方案:(1)淬火实验。
以天然矿物晶体(或预先合成的矿物晶体)为初始原料,在高温高压下进行水的耦合,当晶体内部达到平衡后,通过快速淬火将充填于晶格缺陷中的结构水“冻结”,从而获得含H矿物;(2)结晶实验。
按照矿物化学计量比配制初始原料,在高温高压下通过化学反应生长样品颗粒,从而获得含H矿物。
老挝万象平原钾盐矿床控矿构造研究

【摘要】老挝万象平原钾盐矿层赋存于新近系古新统塔贡组中,主要含钾矿物为光卤石,少量钾石盐.成矿期塔贡组及钾盐矿层主要受北西向的边界断裂及塔贡向斜控制;成矿期后钾盐矿层主要受褶皱(盐向斜、盐背斜)控制.在钾盐矿层沉积后,先在水平应力作用下形成宽缓褶皱.由于向斜部位相对沉降,沉积速度较快,钾盐矿层上部的碎屑岩较厚;而背斜部位相对上升,其上沉积的碎屑岩较薄.由于钾盐矿层与碎屑岩存在较大的密度差,加之向斜与背斜上部的碎屑岩厚度不同,背斜与向斜的钾盐矿层之间产生"差异载荷".向斜部位的钾盐矿层受到较大的载荷向背斜塑性流动,使背斜部位矿层增厚,形成盐背斜.同样的原因,向斜部位的矿层厚度明显变小.盐背斜部位往往钾盐矿层厚度巨大,埋藏浅,上覆地层常常缺失,但盐背斜进一步发育使钾盐矿层暴露于相对的淡水环境中而遭受破坏.

研究结果表明:赤泥的粒度微细,其矿物组成与化学成分均复杂;赤泥中所含的主要铁矿物为赤铁矿和针铁矿,主要铝矿物为一水软铝石和三水铝石;主要含铁和铝的物质有铁铝氧化物和微粒泥状硅酸盐混合物(钠硅渣),且2种物质中铁、铝含量变化较大,赤泥中铁铝氧化物质量分数为18.28%;铁铝氧化物各元素含量不均一,其中铝平均质量分数为12.78%,铁平均质量分数为45.81%。
赤泥中的赤铁矿和褐铁矿中均存在铁铝类质同象;含铝赤铁矿、铝针铁矿和铁铝氧化物的存在以及赤泥粒度微细粒钠硅渣容易聚团包裹铁、铝矿物等导致赤泥中的铁铝大部分难以分离。

The material composition and particle size composition of red mud were studied in detail, and the occurrence state of iron and aluminum in red mud was emphatically analyzed. The results show that the particle size of red mud is fine, and its mineral composition and chemical composition are complex. The main iron minerals contained in red mud are hematite and goethite, and the main aluminum minerals are boehmite and gibbsite. The main substances containing iron and aluminum are iron-aluminum oxide and particulate muddy silicate mixture(sodium-silicate slag), and the content of iron and aluminum in the two substances varies greatly. The mass fraction of iron-aluminum oxide in red mud is 18.28%. The content of each element in iron-aluminum oxide is uneven, in which the average mass fraction of aluminum is 12.78%, and the average mass fraction of iron is 45.81%. There are iron-aluminum isomorphisms existing in hematite and limonite in red mud. Due to the existence of the isomorphism of iron and aluminum in hematite and goethite, and the existence of a considerable amount of iron-aluminum oxides, as well as the complex embedding characteristics of iron minerals, aluminum minerals and sodium-silicate slag, most of iron and aluminum in red mud are difficult to separate.Key words: Bayer red mud; process mineralogy; occurrence of iron and aluminum; isomorphism; iron-aluminum oxide赤泥是氧化铝生产过程中排放的主要废渣。

size,Cooling rateIntroductionVanadium is one of the most important non-ferrous metals with economic and strategic importance,with abundant deposits.1,2Vanadium exists mainly in the form of titaniferrous magnetite.The major vanadium products include ferrovanadium (FeV),V 2O 5,V 2O 3,VN and Al–V–Ti alloy.The vanadium industry is much dependent on the steel industry as over 80%of vanadium products are used in the steel industry.3There are a number of different production routes of vanadium production available today.The current best available technology for vanadium recovery is based on preoxidation of hot metal from iron making before the LD decarburisation step.The four dominant processes are the Highveld process (South Africa),the Pan-steel process (China),the NTMK duplex process (Russia)and the New Zealand steel vanadium recovery process (New Zealand).4,5Though the type of reactor and the initial vanadium content in hot metal are different in these techniques,the principle of vanadium oxidation by oxygen to a vanadium slag phase is shared by all the four processes.A flow sheet of the Pan-steel V process route is shown in Fig.1.It is characterised by concentrating the V in spinel phases,then extracting vanadium oxide from them.The vanadium slag standards existing in China are a simply specified partial composition standard without specified mineralogical phases and grain size of spinels.However,these parameters play important roles during the extraction process from vanadium slag to V 2O 5orV 2O 3,6especially for the salt roasting process.As mineralogical characterisation of vanadium slag is mainly determined by the cooling condition,in the present work,various treating conditions were applied to explore the relationship between mineralogical characterisation and cooling parameters.ExperimentalSlag samplesLaboratory slag compositions studied in the present investigation are listed in Table 1.The starting materials used to prepare laboratory slag were purified reagent grade and plant vanadium slag obtained from Pan-steel,China.The composition and melting temperature were:1?91CaO–15?64SiO 2–15?61V 2O 5–29?68FeO–5?42MgO–8?38MnO and 1588K.Experimental procedureA 12kW electrical resistance furnace was used for the experiments.The furnace temperature and cooling rate were controlled by a control unit through a pair of thermocouples.A corundum porcelain boat was employed to hold the slag sample.Slag of 10g mixture was melted at 1673K,then after an isothermal time of 15min,the sample was cooled to a predetermined temperature at a preplanned cooling rate.Thereafter,the sample was quenched in water.In plant slag experiments,the samples were naturally cooled.After surface treatment,the samples were analysed by micro-scopy,scanning electron microscopy observation (SEM),energy disperse X-ray spectrometry (EDS)and X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD).To quantify the crystal size of spinels,the authors plant vanadium slagIt is said that spinel can be a significant host phase for V,which has multiple oxidation states (V 2z ,V 3z ,V 4z and V 5z ).Much literature has demonstrated that V 3z islikely to be stable in spinels.7,8The morphology of the plant vanadium slag was observed by SEM.Example images are depicted in Fig.2.The main crystalline phases are spinels and silicates which are also revealed by XRD scans in Fig.3.Figure 2a presents the plant vanadium slag obtained from Pan-steel,China.Massive white grains are complex spinels (Fe 2z ,Mg 2z ,Mn 2z )(Fe 3z ,V 3z ,Ti 4z ,Cr 3z ,Al 3z )O 4,which have a dispersed distribution in the binding phase composed of silicates.From a conventional viewpoint,V concentrating spinel is mainly Fe 2z 12x Fe 3z x [Fe 2z x V 3z 22x ]O 4,9which also presents as the formula Fe x V 32x O 4in Fig.3.Besides,Mg x (V,Ti)32x O 4spinels are also found in Fig.3.The surrounding grey matrix is silicates,which are evident in Fig.2b and c .Figure 2b presents the remelted plant vanadium pared with the original plant vanadium slag,silicates have evidently increased.Spinels are present as granular particles.The crystal size of spinels decreased from 10–50to 5–15m m.The authors also found many long strip like grains within the silicate matrix as a result of rapid natural cooling of small slag quantities in the laboratory.Figure 2c is the enlarged view of these grains.Typical spot analyses of the different phases in Fig.2are given in Table 2.It can be seen from the spot analyses that V and Ti are mostly concentrated in spinel phases except for c6.The abnormal phenomenon of c6may be due to dystectic V 2O 3which does not melt uniformly.Cr 2O 3is a component of spinel crystal nucleus formation.It can be seen that all the Cr is located in the spinel phases in Table 2.The result is in agreement with that reported in the literature.6From SEM images and spot analyses,it can be concluded that V,Ti and Cr spinels were in coexistence in the Pan-steel vanadium slag.The dark grey phases are silicates,which mainly include Me 2SiO 4and a small quantity of MeSiO 3.Me presents Fe 2z ,Mn 2z and Mg 2z .This result is also confirmed by the XRD identification in Fig.3.It is noteworthy that Fe 2SiO 4is the primary mineral phase for slag formation.During the vanadium recovery process in the converter,Fe 2SiO 4solidified last,and is wrapped by vanadium ions to be present in different oxidation states and structural localisation.11SEM images and XRD results show that (Fe,Mn)2SiO 4are the major silicate phases in Pan-steel plant vanadium slag,and there is some (Fe,Mn)SiO 3in the remelted plant slag.Furthermore,wu ¨stite solid solution is also found in the plant slag.For vanadium slag,Chen and Yang 12believed that V 2O 3,Cr 2O 3,TiO 2and Fe 2O 3were concentrated in spinel phases and SiO 2was concentrated in silicate phases;FeO,MnO and Al 2O 3coexisted in both phases and had a uniform distribution;MgO and CaO also coexisted in both phases.In the present study,EDS results in Table 2show obvious consistency with pre-vious reports.However,there seems more MnO in silicate phases than in spinel phases.It is worth noting that CaO in the spinel phases could react with V and generate CaO.V 2O 5or Ca containing vanadium bronze CaV 12O 30,which are insoluble in water.It will,thereby,increase the residual V content in the waste slag.The sources of CaO in vanadium slag come from furnace slags (blast furnace slag,mixer furnace slag and desulphurising agent)and cooling agency (iron ore).Therefore,furnace slags on the surface of hot metal should be eliminated before blowing oxygen.Crystal size of spinelsCrystal size of V containing spinels and amount of silicate phases in vanadium slag have an important influence on the further extraction process of V products.In the normal case,the outer layers of spinels are wrapped in the silicate phases.Especially for small grain size spinels,a relatively thicker silicate phase shell will remarkably slow down the oxidation rge crystal size spinel has excellent chemical decomposa-bility.Under the condition of grinding,large grain size of spinels could increase the probability of exposure of silicate phases and shorten the mean path of diffusion from O 2and sodium salt to spinel crystals.Con-sequently,the extraction rate of V was increased,as was the grinding time and energy consumption.The principal influencing factor of spinel grain size is the slag cooling rate.The grain size of spinels is large under slow cooling conditions and fine under rapid cooling conditions.Baro H 13reported that the grain size of spinels in rapidly cooled vanadium slag is no more than 5–8m m;however,it could reach 50m m with slow cooling slags.Therefore,slow cooling is a key step to improve vanadium slag quality.The statistical graphs obtained from the crystal size measurements are displayed in Figs.4–6.It can be seen that the apparent diameter decreases with increasing cooling rate in Fig.4.Also the mean grain size decreased from 3to 2m m and from 6to 3?8m m at 1623and 1573K respectively;however,it decreased from 14to 5m m and from 12?5to 7m m at 1523and 1473K effect of holding time on crystal grain size of spinels,laboratory slags were held for up to 45min at different temperatures and thereafter quenched in water.The spinel grain sizes of these slags are presented in Fig.5.From Fig.5,it can be seen that there is an approximate linear change of apparent diameter of V containing spinels with holding time,and crystal grain size increases with increasing holding time.Figure 6shows the relationship between treating tem-perature and grain size of spinels.The authors found that the grain sizes of spinels at higher temperature are considerably smaller than at lower temperature.This might be explained as follows:viscosity of vanadium slag is relatively large,which reduces the diffusion of ions and atoms.More importantly,when the tempera-ture is high,supercooling is small and the nucleation driving force becomes small and its energy large.Accordingly,the nucleation rate slows down.Therefore,crystals are mainly manifested as low crystal-lisation quantity and small grain size.The micrographs of laboratory slags which were held for 20min at 1523and 1573K are shown in Fig.7.It can be seen that heat preservation leads to rapid growth of crystals.At 1523K,large blocked spinel crystals between grey silicate phases are formed,whereas thereonly a few smaller blocked spinels at 1573K.Most of the spinels at 1573K are nodular or long strip like,which have not yet fully grown.All the results mean that spinel crystals grow rapidly at 1523and 1473K.However,when cooling rate is less than 10K min 21,the crystal grain sizes of spinels are larger at 1523K.It can be concluded that there are optimum cooling parameters for much better growth of V containing spinels.More investigation is required to understand the relationships between grain size,the slag composition,the heat treatment and the cooling condition.ConclusionsThe following conclusions can be drawn from the present experiments:1.The mineralogical composition of the vanadium slag samples is complex with different kinds of spinels and silicates in the samples.2.In vanadium slag samples,V is enriched in the spinel phases,Fe x V 32x O 4and Mg x (V,Ti)32x O 4.3.Cooling rate plays an important role in guarantee-ing vanadium slag quality.Slow cooling is a key step to obtain a large spinel crystal size.4.At lower temperature,e.g.1523K,large blocked spinel
