How To Improve Your English Speaking Skills (Last Updated: Nov. 1st)At the beginning, I have to declare that these all may just be blah blah blah to you. BUT, they are all situations that I've been through, and I believe that after reading all these, you may know something, or at least you can improve your reading skills..... If you don't think they are valuable, just skip it, that's fine:-)———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————I just recalled one sentence that I wrote months ago, and I believe it best fits here.“Just as the caterpillar must endure the humiliating cocoon before he can spread his wings as a vibrant butterfly, we all need overcome all the obstacles in store for us and tread on the path that will lead us to success!"Share it with all you guys.———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————Long time ago, I posted another Speaking Tips(click me^_^) on GTER. The reason why I wrote this second batch of tips is that I think there are certain rules that can lead everyone to success, and I believe no one would fail to get over 22 on the speaking section if you follow these “rules.” Sounds interesting? OK, HERE WE GO!Look, there tips are for TOEFL, not only for the speaking part, but also for listening, and I want you to start it as soon as possible, because the sooner you stick with it, the better result you would achieve.I can always hear people complaining about how hard it is for ESL learnersto use English, not to mention to excel at it. Well, I gotta say--THEY ARE WRONG! Chances are, they don’t really wanna speak English,so it’s no doubt they would find it difficult to use English adequately when they have to. I’ve quote one sentence in the previous tips posted on GTER and I do want to quote it again -- “The first way, the last way, the never-failing way to develop self-confidence in speaking is--to speak,” said Dale Carnegie, one of the most inspiring public speaker in the world.VOCAB:I may say that the foundation of speaking is -- vocabulary. Even if you don’t know how to organize your words into the grammatically correct structure, you can still make yourself understood if you have a large vocabulary. To cite a concrete case: I was once talking with an American, and I was really not good at English then. Bumping out words that didn’t make up a sentence was what I always did and, to tell the truth, I survived. Why? The American guy told me that he can easily understand what I intended to say even I made tons of grammar mistakes, because he is a native-speaker and is able to guess the meaning without much effect only using the main words I said. That truly encouraged me, because I think that the reason why most ESL learners are afraid of speaking out their thoughts using English is because they think others would not understand them, thus give up speaking English forever, I may say. However, just as the situation I mentioned in the case, native-speakers would comprehend your thoughts as long as you choose the right word and are brave enough to bump it out, while if the person you are talking to is a Chinese students just like you, things may change, and that’s also the reason why I don’t support the idea of going to English Corner to practice English unless they are native-speakers. So, get yourself started to remember those everyday-words(I mean, the words that you use everyday, not those freaking fancy big words!), and try to speak to others. Yes, I know the first time is always the hardest, but I guarantee that once you defeat your fear and expose yourself to others, YOU ARE BOUND TO WIN!***This is the thing that you have to do throughout your life, even forAmericans***READING & LISTENING:Once you got the “basement” needed for speaking, it’s time to go to the next stage -- know about the English way of thinking. This is extremely significant because if you speak using Chinese way of think, misunderstandings may occur, and I bet that this is not everybody wants. How to tackle that problem? Ummm… It is actually pretty hard, BUT, there is always a way:-)First, you need to read a lot, and while you are reading, try not to translate the words you read into Chinese, even though you don’t understand them, JUST READ! The more you read, the familiar you would be with English. And here, I wanna say that this is a pretty long shot which needs perseverance. However, you would soon find out how effective it is when you have kept reading for a couple of months. If you don’t want to read that much, you gotta at least listen. I SAY IT AGAIN: YOU GOTTA LISTEN! I cannot compromise any more. You can listen to whatever is related to English, whatever. English songs, English crosstalk shows, English audiobooks, even just English-word reciting lists! Listening, for most people, is the optimal way to get familiar with English, because while one listens English, he subconsciously absorb the intonation the speaker revealed, the words used, and the feeling expressed. It is the only and best way to resolve the problem of unfamiliarity with English.Second, you need to murmur. Yes, murmur! There is no need to say complete sentences, fragment s are fine. Take myself for example. I’ve watched “Friends”, the sitcom, for over six times and followed the words said by the actors every now and then. Even now, I can still remember some of the lines and say them out. This is to make sure that you can speak English with fluency. While repeating the lines, you would subconsciously(seems like learning English is a subconscious progress, huh?) imitate the intonation, pronunciation employed by the actors. Andlong after that, you would definitely be able to say English with amazing ease.***This would approximately take 1 month***Now, you’d probably be good at speaking English, and we have to start the part of the way to get higher score on TOEFL.———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————Sorry for keeping you guys waiting so long!! I really appreciate your support!———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————First of all, let me make some points clear that would be helpful for you to grasp the general idea about how the Speaking section is like in TOEFL.Unlike what most Chinese students have thought, the most important part of your answers is not you pronunciation, but your intonation. Why is that so? Well, why don’t I just cite an example to illustrate that point? Indians all speak English, but have you ever heard of any Indian speak English with amazing American accent or British accent? I doubt so. Indians usually say words with weird pronunciation; however, both Americans and British people would find it not difficult to comprehend what the speaker just said because the intonation that Indian used is pretty much the same as the ones used by either Americans or British people. (If you wanna know more about that point, I strongly recommend “HEROES.” which is a very popular American TV show. There is one person, Mohinder Suresh, who has a strong Indian accent, or whatever… But you would definitely soon find out that his pronunciation is … hmmm… BAD!) So, try to pay less attention on your pronunciation and more on your intonation:-)Next, I’m gonna tell you some tricks while answering TOEFL iBT speaking questions. The raters are really not looking for something that they would find interesting, and, of course, they cannot. So, what you need to do here is to say things that is extremely familiar with you. How extremely? Well, you have to make sure that you can even say it out aloud without even thinking about it.For example, if I were asked to answer a question about the most important decision I have made in my life, I would absolutely choose to say that it’s my determination to study abroad, because that’s the most important reason why I’m taking the freaking test answering questions facing a stupid computer. I believe that you would have alotta to talk about why you decided to study abroad. Conversely, if you really tried to think about a “REALLY” important decision you made, 15 seconds are clearly not enough, not to mention you gotta also think about the reasons and organize your thoughts. Thus, do not waste your time thinking about the best topic to say, the easiest one would always be your choice.Rule #1: You gotta be specific. You DEFINITELY want to answer the question with SPECIFIC examples. DO NOT just go around at the topic, because that’s what may count down your score, and this approach also applies to your essay. To demonstrate this point, I would use my own example and capitalize all the specific points I made while I was answering my speaking question the first time I took TOEFL.Topic: If you got a chance to travel, where would you choose and why? What would a Chinese student possibly answer:Hmmm, if I got a chance to travel, I may go to the United States. Firstly, it’s really beautiful there. The mountains are high and the air is clean. I would absolutely love to go American to enjoy the scene. Moreover, the food there would be very attractive. Foods from all over the world can be seen here, thus it is very likely for me to have a good taste of all kinds of foods. My answer:Well, I think I would probably choose to go to the United States, ESPECIALLY THE WEST COAST, because I’ve already been there once and was totally impressed. The first reason that I wanna say is that, um, the scene there is pretty breathtaking. I can see BOLD EAGLES flying around and TIDES coming and go. What’s more, the food there is very delicious. I can still remember the first time I ate HALIBUT in my host family, that felt pretty great. So, um, that’s w hy I wanna go to American had I got a chance to travel.See? It’s not that difficult to be specific, right? All you need to do is just give some words of NAMES and then explain a little bit.Rule #2: Make sure that your ideas flow together.DO NOT, I repeat it again, DO NOT recite any kinds of answers before you take the test, because that would only impede your progress of independent thinking, or your answer would sound like many fragments. JUST LET IT BE. If you answer the question by just saying what you wanna say, your idea is sure to flow together; on the contrary, if you want to use some words or sentences that you remembered before the test, you would spend alotta time thinking about how to use it and, thus, your answer could sound idiot.Rule # 3: Big words DON’T impressMaybe you wanna be ostentatious(check this word out!) that you have a big vocabulary, maybe you can master how to use these words appropriately, maybe you can even spell those right. BUT, don’t, I say it again, DON’T use big wo rds in any of your speaking answers! Because, they don’timpress. Imagine this: when you are answering QUESTION 1 that asks you to pick one of your favorite books and explain why, your answer is:Well, my favorite book is Harry Potter. I posses an extremely deep affection towards it. I can still recall the initial occasion when I exposed myself to this book, it was really exhilarating. Ron is my favorite character in that book, because whenever Harry was trapped by thorny setbacks, he was invariably the o ne to assist him. What’s more, by immersing myself into reading the book, I really ameliorated my reading skills. That’s why I love this publication.Does it sound weird? Does it make any sense to you? Maybe you should have look at this one:Well, my favorite book is Harry Potter. I really love reading it. I can still conjure up the time when I read this book for the first time, I was totally amazed by the characters in the book. I especially love Ron in the book, because whenever Harry was in trouble, he’s always the one to stand out and help him. What’s more, by reading Harry Potter, I improved my reading skill, which is a good thing to happen because it’s nearly the most crucial ability in one’s whole life. That’s why I like reading Harry Potter. How about this time?? Though the words were easy, but they make good sense to you--they will definitely not confuse you whatsoever.Do you get it now? You may use 1~2 big words, but more than 3 means you are committing a suicide!!! Please, please pay more attention to your contents, not the words.T O B E C O N T I N U E D...BTW, please reply with English~ HA~ Thanks!。
EnglishSpeaking(含各种主题)English Speaking1.Social problem:Recently, the TV hits "Xin Shu" receive a good appraisal among the masses. It mainly narrates stories in hospitals, in relation to medical ethics and outlooks on life. Yes, medical problems is a very serious and looming problem in China. The difficulties of getting medical service and high cost to access medical service bring great troubles to numbers of people. However, some obvious and urgent problems drag on and on, such as red kickbacks and medical errors. It is stated that the current situation of medical service is concerned with domestic politics profoundly. Some critics even say that China's medical problems have been politicized. Well, I think that the essential aim of healthcare is to heal the wounded and rescue the dying. As the old saying goes, "Saving a life is better than seven-story pagoda". So how to wake up the medical ethics of doctors is one principle aspect to improve the present state of healthcare.2.living problem:There is a wise saying that " If life deceive you, don't be sad and worried about it. Gloomy needs calm, Believe me, happy days is coming". Of course, we meet with many setbacks in our daily life. Maybe it's a quarrel with your friends, or a fail in some exam, or an injury to your leg.I am introverted and sometimes not confident to in myself. I still remember my first debate contest. It's so embarrassing and frustrated that I even feel difficult to face up to it. Unfortunately, there was another debate contest last year and I want to challenge myself. So I join it. Well, I failed again. I was really self-condemned and even self-abased. Then I phoned to my mother and what she said really cheer me up. She told me to be self-confident and smile to the life bumpy, then have a deeper knowledge of yourself. Yes, frustration can expose some of your own inner self and help you to grasp something higher. Maybe that's what life brings to us.3.Domestic and foreign movies:Well, although there are numbers of critics on domestic movies, I still think that some of them are really marvelous and excellent. Here, I will give an example of the domestic film, "Postmen in The Mountains". The Chinese name of it is "Nashan naren nagou". It is one of the few narrative films that reflect postal theme. The movie is filled with the savor of country life. And the story is pretty simple but affords forthought. A retired father keeps accompany with his son, who is going to take his turn as a postman, to cover the postal route. The old father has been a postman for more than twenty years and he is much attached to everything in the trip. During the hike, the father tries his best to pass on lessons to his son and let the son understand the whole roads he used to walk on. But the most important is that the father and the son becomes more close to each other, which is also the most moving part of the film.I have watched it twice or more and every time I finished watching it, I would have a deeper feeling of my parents. Yes, that's a really wonderful film.4.Science problem:Since we have launched numbers of satellites into space and only a few of them are recovered, space junk has become an urgent and serious problem. It refers to useless man-made objects that orbits the earth, such as discarded satellites, orbiter(轨道器), bits of rockets. Research shows that there are over 40 million space debris since man opened the space. And several hundred of space debris fall to Earth from 1973. However, for these junks burn thoroughly, they destroy themselves under the protection of the atmosphere. Therefore, no one gets hurt. But the high-speed "orbital debris"(太空碎片) causes great losses to working satellites. In accordance with a scientific report, the number of space junk above the earth has reach the critical point. In 2009, two satellites which belong to USA and Russia respectively collided and produced large amount of garbage. This is much more likely to pose a threat to International Space Station(国际空间站). So situation is very severe.5.Campus activity:Well, campus activities are crucial part in college. I think activities in college can really fulfill our life and help us to establish a specific aim. I mainly join four clubs so far and acquaint myself with many outstanding students. I participate in the "Newspaper Club" of our college and learn how to typeset. In clubs, we can have some interesting and remarkable lectures and we can share ideas with each other. I joined the Xinge club in the last year. In that club, I got in touch with activities held by other departments, such as "China Marrow Donor Program" volunteering and "Mail to yourself in the future". Also, the volunteering activity is one of the most essential events during college. I have joined several activities in that aspect and really feel cool about them. During the volunteering, you have chances to contact different kinds of people and enjoy the course of it. I still remember that the old head of a station talked with me about some of his experiences for about two hours. In a word, I love the freedom and chances collegebrings to me.6.Family relation:I have a happy family and there are four people in my family.I was born when my elder sister is six years old, so it's painstaking for my parents to foster two children. My father is an individual household, mainly dealing in vehicle maintenance and repair. My mother is an ordinary peasant. My mother has three brothers and one sister, so I have a lot of cousins. As a little child, I always made myself proud for the reason that I'm the youngest among all of them. And I love them very much. Now, three of my cousins is still studying at colleges. Two of them have got married and I also have a little nephew. He was just born at the end of last year. I feel very guilty that I haven't visited him once. My close sister got married one years ago. To be honest, it made me a little upset because I was not able to play with my sister regularly. Anyhow, everyone is growing up and growing old. What we can do is just to hope that they are all happy and healthy.7.Bestselling book:"The little girl at the window" is one of the bestselling books that impress me most. It tells a true story during the primary school days of the author. The main character is called Small Doudou and she is ordered to quit school at the beginning due to her naughtiness. Then she comes to Palestinian[?p?li?stini?n]academy, a school that collects "special students". However, the schoolmaster Mr. Lin always tells Small Doudou that she is actually a nice girl. Under Mr. Lin's care and guidance, Small Doudou grows to be an acceptable child. The cordial and amiable teaching methods help children there spend the finest hours of their lives. The English edition of the book sells more than 700 thousand only in Japan and no one oversteps upto now. The book not only brings laughter and affects to people throughout the world, but also injects new vitality to modern education.8.Current affairs:The two Sessions have already finished in March and I think some proposals of representatives is very practical and really worth thinking about. Here, I will choose the vice-president of HKUST Mr. Huang as an example. Doc. Huang puts forward that striving for scientific researchfund shouldn't become "running for business". He thinks the educational resources that the governments invest in has been increasing rapidly and hardware facilities of inland universities has changed with each passing day. However, the constructing styles of study in higher education need constant attention. He proposes that the transparency and objectivity of application for cost should be intensified in the scientific research. He also points out that we should pay more attention to the quality of the projects and its contribution to nation instead of its public relations. Well, I can't agree with him more. Some students who love science needs more energy and chances to focus on the study. Our system should provide favorable conditions for people of a new type, then maybe there will be Nobel Prize winner in China.9.Software application:Software application is rather important for we who major in Telecommunication Engineering and other IT industry. Unfortunately, I don't have a gift for computer. I still remember my miserable experience in multimedia learning. Thanks to Teacher Zhu, he tries out many methods to arouse our study interest and I am actually moved by his understanding andencouragement. Recently, I join a project conducted by my dean. My assignment in the project is aimed to materialize the geographical statics. Processing is the chief software during the map visualization and it is written in java. To be honest, I feel a little helpless when I first touch Processing. Then, I study the basic language Java and tries to write some little computer programs. Little by little, I take a great interest in visualizing the boring data. Now, I have generated a map of subway lines in Shanghai. Of course, there are numbers of difficulties at present and in future.I believe that nothing is impossible to a willing heart. Just try and try again, then you can discover the miracle.。

For example, the examiner asked the English teacher's class, the examinee can not simply answer "yes", should also be appropriate to start. In particular, when candidates encounter what, when and other "wh" start, or to "how" at the beginning of the problem, pay special attention to, these problems are often not a sentence, two sentences will be able to articulate the problem, you can answer a few more. Candidates to express the content of the rich, to the examiner's feeling is the examinee's language, thinking is active, the ability to grasp the language of strong.Moderate speed. I go to school at seven o'clock. After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven o'clock. Then I begin to do my homework. I want to finish it before I go to bed.Part 1 reading aloud ReadingThis part asks the examinee to read the given article, which is equivalent to the relevant English text in senior high school. The essay reads as follows:(1) the basic problem of phonetics.(2) meaning group and pause. Sentences can be divided into segments according to meaning and structure. Each paragraph is called a group of meanings. In English it is called sense group. Each group of meaning has its special meaning. Before you read each essay, you should identify the group. Thus, when speaking and reading aloud, there can be a certain pause between the Italian group and the Italian group, and the air can also be exchanged so that the meaning can be expressed more clearly. In the same sense group in one breath to finish without pause between each word should be. Between the Italian group and the Italian group, there is no pause or pause.(3) the main tone, rising tone and falling tone two. The general tone for sentence adverbial and general interrogative sentence, in a complete sentence in each coordinate component at the end of a parallel composition using the former tone. Such as: I have three English books two Chinese dictionaries, and five pens.A general falling used in declarative sentence tail and special questions, especially should pay attention to is the general question answer. Such as: Do you have a map in your hand? The question must be answered: Yes general, I do general. This Yes must be I do must also be falling.(4) liaison and loss of explosion. They are easy to grasp. In a sense group, read the last consonant of the previous word with the vowel at the beginning of the latter. Explosive failure is a difficult skill in reading. When the two adjacent ones together, often in front of a plosive to keep a position, but not blasting, immediately behind the pause. In the exam, displayed on the screen of the capacity more than normal speed within the specified time can cover the content, regardless of the speaker's speech is fast, can not be within the specified time will be all finished. Therefore, as long as the candidates read at normal speed, and can focus on pronunciation and intonation and other aspects, not the pursuit of speed and the blurred reading the article, the. In the preparation period, to pay attention to each sentence pause, unreadable broken. Even if you do not know the word, do not stop halfway, but in accordance with their own understanding, to read it out of the sense of language (in fact, this is one of the examination intentions). As long as reading aloud, coherence does not affect the overall picture. The second part, quick answer Quick ResponseFirst of all, make sure that the question is not to answer questions, but to respond appropriately to the sentences you hear. The difficulty of this part is that there is no situational hint. The examinee must judge the sentence in the moment after hearing the sentence. What sentence should be usedbefore and after the sentence?. Then, make sure a correct answer. When you hear an examination question, first of all, you should find out the type of the sentence: general question or special question. Is it a declarative sentence or an imperative one?. You should grasp the first question word, which determines the content of your answer sentence. A second word auxiliary verb that determines the tense or voice of your answer. Of course, other words also play a different role, but in contrast, the information provided by these two words is particularly important. Some candidates answer when they hear the candidates. In fact, in the exam, each examinee heard the title is not exactly the same, followed by others answer is absolutely suffer. The examination should pay attention to avoid the incomplete response or give an irrelevant answer:For example, the content of the recording is "Please say hello to your parents.", and the correct response is "I will, thank you", but many candidates answer "Hello"".Again, "You, aren't, a, are, you," the correct response is "No, I, am, a, teacher", but some candidates respond to "Yes, I, am," or "Yes, I, am, not, teacher, a, not, teacher"".Again, the "Don't forget to post the letter for me." correctly responds to "No, I want.", but many candidates answer "Yes, I won't"".There are students, no matter what the question will be answered "I beg your pardon" or "I don't know.", this situation will not be given points. The third part, situational questions, Question, RaisingCandidates are required to make questions within the specified time for the situation they are reading. The content is correct and the questions are correct. There is at least one particular question that cannot be repeated.Since the topic gives you the scene, it is necessary to make a few factors from the given scene: who is the protagonist of the scene, who is the object of the conversation, the time, place and content of the scene. In the exam, candidates should first calmly analyze the sentence's subject predicate object structure, and do not have to pay attention to the unknown words. Who, what, which, or adverbial of the subject, object, object, etc., when, where, why, how and so on, try to avoid unfamiliar words, and make them efficient and concise. In the question, as long as the attention to meet the requirements of the situation, the sentence structure is complete. Such as:Mary, has, just, returned, Australia., You, plan, to, go, there, too., Ask, her, about, the, country, or,, anything, you, are, interested, from, in.Which, place, would, you, recommend, me, to, visit, there (candidates) (special questions)Is, it, easy, to, apply, for, scholarship, in, Australia(candidates) (general questions)The fourth part talks about Topic TalkingCandidates are required to express ideas and express their views in a coherent and fluent way. Such topics often involve social, family, school, environmental, sports, ethics, networking, and so on. These are closely related or popular topics in everyday life.Candidates will also see their supporting videos when they see the subject on the screen, which is intended to provide more information to candidates. Candidates can be used according to the situation or not.The content of this part of the examination is actually an oral composition oral composition.(1) from the structure to consider, the article must be complete. In beginning, to open the door, topic sentence. in this essay must contain keywords in topic sentence. Some students did not sort out a clear line of thought in a hurry, the answer did not speak a few words, continue to go on.(2) the passage must have content. If the topic is "An unforgettable experience", it should describe a specific activity. The essay marking the teacher to hear you speak, feel you participate in the activities of really attractive, unforgettable. Can not rely on the accumulation of many adjectives, but do not have a specific story to tell you that the event memorable, the best shortcut is to learn from the text, the collection of material made from reading articles and practice. The fifth part looks at the words, Picture, DescribingThe key to this part is that candidates should first read the pictures, define the pictures, and then describe them. When you get the picture, you should see all the clues in the picture: except for the characters, all other background information should be clear. Often in addition to characters, the picture also provides information about the time and place of the story. The starting sentence in the picture provides the background of the tense and the story. It is important to note that..:(1) if the starting sentence is the general present tense, the picture is also based on the present tense; if the beginning is the present continuous tense, the picture is based on the present progressive tense and the present present tense.(2) the person question, such as the beginning sentence, is described in the first person, and the description of the picture uses the first person, such as the beginning sentence, which provides a name (third person), and the description of the picture also uses the third person.(3) find out the inner relationships of the pictures you see, and find the theme of this set of pictures.。
Improve Your English Speaking and English Pronunciation SkillsMy first piece of advice is not to get too hung up on trying to sound like a native speaker. Would you start learning the piano in an attempt to sound like Mozart? The first rule of speaking English is to learn to speak clearly and concisely and remember you won't just be speaking to native speakers: There are roughly 380 million native speakers out there, but as many as a billion people speak English as a second language, you do the math.Try to avoid using idioms and slang (I always say learn it, but don't use it). It might sound clever to say "You're barking up the wrong tree," but if you use it in the wrong situation, or if the other person simply doesn't understand you, you'll only look silly when you try to explain what you meant to say, or what it actually means. There's also a saying in English "Have you swallowed a dictionary?" It is applicable to anyone who uses long, complicated words when a shorter word will do. Short sentences are just as good (if not better) than long rambling explanations. The value in what you have to say is what you say, not how clever you look or sound when you say it. So it's a good idea to try to use simple, clear vocabulary, KISS - keep it short and simple, Here's a fun video that illustrates what I mean.English speaking tipsGet over any fear you might have of making mistakes. You will make mistakes.Be patient with yourself. Learning any language can be frustrating, but frustration won't help you, so let it go.Grasp every opportunity you have to speak with people in English.Talk to friends who are also learning English. It's the one place I've found where you're guaranteed a conversation - it's an adult environment, and you won't always want to talk to the people you meet, but for every bloodsucking vampire who asks if they can bite you, there are at least ten, nice people who just want to socialise. You can spend a fortune and waste a lot of time trying to "get rid of" your accent, time and money that you could spend learning more English. So, unless you are up for a role in a film, don't worry about your accent too much. That said, people need to be able to understand you, so pronunciation and enunciation are important.Be playful. Mimic famous people, play with the different accents in films etc. I do a mean John Wayne.Learn the phonetic alphabet.List words that have the same sound add to the lists as you learn more words. For example words that rhyme with me:-Work on one problem sound at a time. Read slowly concentrating on the pronunciation of particular words. Record yourself, keep the tape and recordyourself later, have you improved? Don't be shy - ask a friend to listen to the tape too.Don't worry about sounding like a native, it is more important to speak clearly and pleasantly than it is to sound like the Queen of England - Even the Queen of England doesn't sound like she used to.The most important thing to think about is can people understand you? If you have a problem being understood then find someone who speaks English clearly and try to copy the way they speak. Pay particular attention to speed and enunciation.English Speaking StudyIntroductionAs we know, half of people on the earth are Chinese, but I believe more than half of people in the world who speak English.
