Lesson10The Great Wall教学设计一、教材分析本课是冀教版《英语》（三年级起点）五年级下册第2单元，本单元的题目是“In Beijing”，讲授了“在北京”的话题。
单元围绕着三个小主人公在北京参观天安门、故宫、长城以及在北京购物等一系列有趣的生活情景展开，引导学生学习关于中国首都北京名胜古迹的词汇和短语，学生要掌握基本的旅游词汇；能够讨论应该做和不应该做的事情；辨识和理解重要的国际标识；可以就所观察到的身边事物进行对话；会点事物和饮品；能够谈论人们正在做的事情。
本课“The Great Wall”是本单元内容其中一篇，讲述了Jenny,Li Ming和Danny在游览长城过程中发生的事情。
学生在学习的过程中，运用英语语言读懂文本、提高了阅读技能，更重要的是学生在学习如何描述长城的过程中，体会到语言学习的乐趣，增强自信心和成就感。

Review the content that has been learned so far. Look at what the students in Beijing can say. What about the the Palace museum? What are Jenny and Danny seeing the people in the park doing?(2) the teacher pretended to take a photograph, and asked: What am I doing? Students should answer: Taking a picture.2. text introductionLet the students open twenty-sixth pages of the textbook. Tell them that we are going to learn the wonders of the world today - the Great Wall. They also learn to follow the safety rules that need to be followed in the city.Step 2. Presentation1. 学生已经了解到小主人公已经到达北京，开始了他们的北京之旅，并且已经参观了北京的两处景点：天安门广场和故宫。
本课主要内容包括两部分。
第一部分主要是小主人公谈论长城的历史和长度。
第二部分讲述Danny从长城回来的路上由于不遵守交通规则而发生的事。
本课主要是让学生学会如何用英语谈论长度，学会在城市中行走要遵守交通规则。
学生在学习的过程中，运用英语语言读懂文本、提高阅读技能，更重要的是学生在学习如何描述长城的过程中，体会到语言学习的乐趣，增强自信心和成就感。
二、学情分析五年级的学生已经有了一定的英语知识基础，具备了一定的逻辑思维能力以及简单的口语表达能力和阅读能力，能借助图片读懂简单的对话，表达情感和进行语言交流。
所以本节课应充分调动学生的积极性，发挥学生的潜能，发散学生的思维。
三、教学目标1. 知识与技能目标：（1）掌握词汇：stop, wait, feel, tired, afraid（2）学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本句型结构：How long is______?Don’t be afraid.2. 语言技能目标：（1）学生能够运用本课句型How long is it? 来谈论物体的长度。
(2) 学生能使用祈使句来表达能做某事和不能做某事。
3. 情感态度目标：（1）通过Danny的经历，学生能意识到遵守交通规则的重要性。
（2）通过学习本课，让学生了解北京的名胜，感受祖国的伟大。
