1Look,this is a bicycle. It’s not very big, but it is nice. It’s red and black. It has two wheels. I ride this bicycle to school every day. I can ride it very fast. I like my bicycle very much.

I was so excited because I hadnever flown a kite before. We got in the car with a brand new kite and a big spool of string. When we arrived at the park, there was a huge open field that seemed perfect for kite flying. The warm spring breeze was gently blowing across the grass. Dad helped me assemble the kite, which had a rainbow striped pattern. It looked like a real rainbow suspended in the air once it was built.Dad showed me how to launch the kite by letting out the string while running into the wind. On my first try, the kite lifted right up into the sky! I couldn't believe how high it flew. Dad kept letting out more and more string until the kite was hundreds of feet up.Controlling the kite was trickier than I thought it would be. If I pulled too hard on the string, the kite would nose-dive towards the ground. If I didn't pull enough, the wind would blow it every which way. After some practice though, I got the hang of keeping it soaring smoothly by adjusting how tightly I held the string. For a while, Dad and I just stood there marveling at the kite way up in the bright blue sky. It looked like a colorful butterfly flapping its wings as it danced through the air currents. Seeingsomething I had launched climb so high filled me with pride and amazement.A couple other families had brought kites to the park too. One kid had an enormous red kite with a long trailing tail. Another kid was flying a smaller diamond-shaped kite. It was fun to watch all the different kites sailing across the sky together.Dad pointed out how the wind wasn't just a steady constant breeze, but was constantly shifting and swirling with gusts and lulls. By paying close attention, I could feel the tugs on the string getting stronger or weaker as the wind velocity changed moment by moment. I had to keep adjusting the angle and tightness to compensate, making kite flying an intriguing aerial balancing act. After a while, some dark rain clouds started drifting in, signaling it was time to bring the kite down. Dad showed me the proper way to reel it in by gathering the string into a figure-8 coil held in my hand while walking closer to the kite. I felt a little sad having to take it down, but I had gotten to experience the freedom and thrill of kite flying for a good long while.Once the kite was all wound up, the first few raindrops started falling. We hurried to the car, made it inside just before the downpour began, and watched the rain through thewindows while eating the snacks Dad had packed. Getting rained on would have been OK though, because I had soared to such new heights that day just by flying a simple kite.On the ride home, I couldn't stop grinning about my first kite flying adventure. I couldn't wait to do it again. Dad said we would go back to the park soon once the weather cleared up. Next time, I wanted to try doing kite tricks by tugging and releasing on the string in different patterns to make the kite loop and dive under my command.Flying kites ended up being one of the most fun and freeing activities I had ever tried. It combined outdoor recreation with science principles like the mechanics of flight and the power of wind in such an engaging hands-on way. I was hooked on a new hobby that would let me explore the wide open skies for years to come. Just a simple kite, but an experience that let my spirit soar. That evening I spent time researching all about the history and種類of kites online. I learned that kite flying originated thousands of years ago in China, with early kites being used for religious ceremonies. In some Asian cultures, kites were seen as a way to help guide the souls of the deceased up to the heavens. That made me feel like kite flying was an ancient spiritual tradition in addition to being an enjoyable pastime.I discovered that there were so many different creative kite designs beyond just simple flat shapes. Some were built to look like real animals or mythical creatures with jointed, moving parts. Others were complex geometric masterpieces made up of dozens of interconnected rigs and sails. Die-hard kite enthusiasts put incredible time, effort and artistry into building truly magnificent flying sculptures. The more I read, the more I wanted to take my kite flying passion to the next level. I started sketching my own original kite designs and collecting all the specialty materials I would need to construct them like lightweight ripstop nylon, carbon fiber rods, and vibrant decorative tassels and trimmings. Kites didn't have to just be throwaway toys, but could be beautiful hand-crafted works of functional wind art.Over the following weeks and months, Dad took me kite flying at that park countless times. We'd spend entire afternoons running across the fields trying to coax our newest high-flying creations up through the gusts and Into the wide open skies. Mastering the techniques of kite control and aerial maneuvers like stalls and spins was immensely satisfying. It felt like I was cultivating an innate human connection to the elemental forces of nature. Each time I successfully kept my handmade kite climbing higher and higher until it became a mere speck against the clouds, I felt such an incredible sense of freedom and accomplishment. Nothing could weigh me down or hold me back from riding those invisible currents of airflow. For those breathtaking moments, I was truly one with the wind.Whether I was at the park or just playing in the backyard, getting outside to kite fly always put a huge smile on my face and lifted my spirits skyward. It was a healthy multi-generational activity that my whole family grew to cherish sharing together. Something as deceivingly simple as running with a kite had opened up a whole new dimension of outdoor adventure, aerospace creativity and zen-like serenity in my young life.To this day, one of my most proud possessions is a photo of me beaming ear to ear on that first day at the park flying a kite I had built entirely myself. I'll always remember the pure joy and sense of limitless possibilities I felt watching it gracefully rise up and up and up until it seemed to almost touch the clouds. Those memories of kites soaring so effortlessly into the boundless heights of the open sky will forever inspire me to pursue my own biggest goals and aspirations without limits in life.篇2Flying KitesOne of my favorite things to do is fly kites! There's just something so fun and exciting about watching a kite soar up into the big blue sky. It makes me feel free and happy. Last weekend, my dad took me to the park to fly my brand new kite that I got for my birthday. I could hardly wait! When we got to the park, there was a pretty strong breeze blowing which was perfect kite flying weather. Dad helped me get the kite all untangled and ready to go. He showed me how to hold the string and let it out little by little as the kite caught the wind. At first, it was hard to get the kite up in the air. A few times it would start rising and then suddenly drop back down. But finally, with a big gust of wind, my kite took flight! Up, up it soared, higher and higher into the sky. I had to keep letting out more string so it wouldn't get pulled down."You're doing it!" Dad cheered as my kite danced among the clouds. I felt so proud and happy seeing my colorful kite flying so gracefully overhead. For a little while, Dad let me try flying it on my own, coaching me on how to keep it steady by gently pulling or letting out the string. It was trickier than I thought, but I loved doing it myself. When a really strong wind came, Dad took over again so I wouldn't lose control of the kite. After flying the kite for a while, Dad pointed out some cool kite flying tricks we could try. The first one was making the kite dive down towards the ground. Dad showed me how to pull hard on the string for a few seconds which made the kite swoop down rapidly. As it got closer to the earth, I had to quickly let out a bunch of string so the kite could swoop back up before crashing. It was an awesome move that got my heart racing with excitement every time we tried it!Another fun stunt was making the kite spin around in circles. By pulling one side of the string then the other, the kite would whirl and whirl while the line twisted up. It was really neat seeing it twirl through the sky like that. When we let go of the line, the kite unraveled and kept flying straight again. We spent a long time practicing all the tricks over and over. Each time my kite flew so beautifully and gracefully, I felt overjoyed. After a couple of hours, some big dark clouds started rolling in. Thunder rumbled in the distance which meant it was time to bring the kite down before it rained. As I carefully reeled the kite back in, I felt a little sad that our fun had to end. But I was also so thankful I got to spend that special time flying my kite with Dad. He's the one who taught me all about kites and how to fly themwhen I was just a little kid. We've shared that hobby and passion for as long as I can remember.Once we had the kite all rolled up, we headed over to our favorite ice cream shop to treat ourselves after such an exciting kite flying day. As we enjoyed our ice cream cones, Dad and I talked all about kites - how they were first invented, the different designs over the years, famous kite festivals, and more. There's so much cool history behind this simple toy! I loved learning more about the cultural traditions too like how in some countries, kites are decorated with intricate paintings and poems then flown during celebrations. On the drive home, I gazed out the window thinking about all the kites I've flown with Dad over the years. So many wonderful memories of laughter, adrenaline, and quality time together. Each kite is unique and special - from the little plastic ones we started with when I was little, to the bigger beautiful ones designed for expert flyers. No matter what though, the feeling of pure joy and freedom when a kite takes flight never changes. It's one of the reasons I love this hobby so much. When we got home, Dad hung my kite up in my room amid the collection of kites from seasons past. As I drifted off to sleep that night, I dreamed of colors and shapes soaring through abrilliant blue sky. I already couldn't wait for the next sunny day when Dad and I could go fly a kite together again. For me, it's one of the most fun and rewarding ways to spend quality time with my dad while getting some outdoor exercise. Plus, there's nothing quite like the feeling of absolute joy and freedom when you get a kite up and sailing beautifully through the wide open skies.篇3Flying KitesOne of my favorite things to do is fly kites! It's so much fun to watch the colorful kite soaring up into the bright blue sky. My dad got me my very first kite for my 7th birthday. It was a simple red diamond kite, but I didn't care - I thought it was the coolest thing ever!Dad took me to the big park near our house to fly it. He showed me how to run with the kite behind me to get it up in the air. I ran and ran but the kite just wouldn't go up. Dad could see I was getting frustrated, so he ran alongside me and gave the kite string a few good tugs. Suddenly, the kite caught the wind and zoomed upwards! I couldn't believe my eyes as it climbed higher and higher into the sky.I had to lean way back to keep the string tight so the kite wouldn't come crashing down. Dad kept coaching me on how to adjust the angle to make it dip and dive. I spent hours that afternoon running back and forth across the field, maneuvering my kite through the sky. When it was finally too dark to see the kite anymore, I was exhausted but so happy. Flying a kite was just as amazing as I had dreamed! After that first time, I was hooked. Every weekend when the weather was nice, I bugged my parents to take me kite flying. Mom started getting me cool new kites for my birthday and holidays. I had kites in all different colors and patterns - red dragons, green dinosaurs, yellow smiley faces. My favorite was probably the big blue whale kite that looked like it was swimming through the clouds. As I got older and more experienced, I learned all sorts of kite flying tricks. I could do loops and flips and sudden dives. One year for Christmas, my parents got me a stunt kite with two lines so I had even more control. Stunt kites are made of really light but sturdy material so you can whip them around at high speeds without them breaking. It was a whole new level of excitement!Pretty soon, I started entering kids' kite flying competitions around town. I'd have to perform different maneuvers and tricks while being judged on creativity, skill, and showmanship. The first few times, I got really nervous and didn't do my best. But eventually, I got used to performing in front of people and started winning ribbons and trophies. My biggest accomplishment so far was winning the Philadelphia Kite Festival All-Ages Stunt Kiting Championship when I was 10 years old. There were people of all ages competing - little kids like me but also teenagers and adults who had been kite flying for decades. I was so proud when they called my name as the winner! In the next few years, I started teaching kite flying lessons to younger kids in my community. It made me so happy to share my passion with others and watch their faces light up with joy when they got a kite in the air for the first time. I loved answering their questions and helping them learn kite control, safety, and tricks. Now that I'm in 8th grade, kites are still a huge part of my life. Flying them is a fun way to get exercise and relax in nature. But it's also become much more than just a casual hobby. I've joined my school's Kite Team, and we travel around competing ininvitationals and exhibitions. I've even started designing and building my own custom kites using specialized materials and techniques. My dream is to one day become a professional kite designer and instructor. I want to hold Guinness World Records for the largest and smallest functional kites. I'd love to go on tour performing stunt kite shows and teaching workshops all around the world. Maybe I could even get involved with scientific experiments using kites to study weather patterns and atmospheric conditions. The possibilities seem endless! No matter where life takes me though, kites will always have a special place in my heart. Those bright bursts of color dancing against the endless blue sky just fill me with pure joy and freedom. Kite flying has given me so many amazing experiences - intense focus, childlike wonder, the thrill of competition, and a strong sense of community and shared passion. I feel so lucky to have discovered this incredible sport at such a young age. Here's to many more years of letting my kites (and my dreams) soar!。

人教版三年级第二单元英语作文放风筝全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Flying KitesI love flying kites! It's one of my favorite things to do. Last weekend, my dad took me to the park to fly a kite. I was so excited!First, we had to put the kite together. It came in pieces in a plastic bag. There were thin wooden sticks that crisscrossed to make the frame. Then there was a plastic covering that went over the frame. It was red with a picture of a dragon on it. Very cool!Putting it together was a little tricky. Dad helped me a lot. We had to be very careful not to break any of the wooden sticks. Once the frame was assembled, we carefully stretched the plastic covering over it and attached it with clips. The next step was tying the string to the kite. We used a long bundle of thin string that came with the kite. Dad showed me how to make a loop and secure it tightly to the kite's body. Then he patiently taught me how to properly hold the string and launch the kite.It took a few tries before we got it up in the air! At first, there wasn't enough wind. The kite just kind of dropped to the ground. Dad said we needed to wait for a breeze. Smart dad! After a little while, the wind started blowing a bit more.On my third try, the kite caught the wind and started rising up! Higher and higher it went. I had to keep carefully letting out more string, holding it tightly so it wouldn't slip through my fingers. Up, up it flew! I was overjoyed to see it way up there, soaring against the bright blue sky.For a long time, the kite just hung there, gently rocking back and forth on the wind currents. I kept a tight grip on the string, staring up with a big smile on my face. Dad stood beside me, helping me guide it if it started drifting too far.At one point, a big gust of wind came through. It caught under the kite's body and pulled it sideways. The string jerked in my hands as the kite suddenly started zooming through the sky, dipping and soaring with the gusts. I had to quickly start letting out more string so it wouldn't snap. Dad helped me control it so it wouldn't crash into the ground or get caught in a tree. After riding that big burst of wind, the kite settled back into just gently swaying on the steady breeze. What a thrill that was! Ispent a long time just admiring how gracefully it danced up there. The dragon's bright colors shone in the sunlight.Eventually, I got a little tired of standing there holding the string. I asked Dad if we could walk around the park while flying the kite. He said that was a great idea, as long as I kept a good grip on it and paid attention. We started strolling around the field, with me holding the string and Dad giving me tips on kite-flying. I learned that if I pulled the string a little, it would make the kite go up higher. If I let out more string, it would drift back down.As we walked, we had to keep adjusting the string to keep the kite from crashing or flying too far away. Dad showed me how to spot different wind currents and guide it through them. Sometimes I had to quickly run and let out more string if the wind picked up. Other times I reeled it in if it looked like it was going to land.We walked all around the park for what felt like hours, with that bright kite soaring overhead the whole time. It was hard work holding that string and maneuvering the kite, but so much fun! I didn't want the day to end. Finally, after a really big gust yanked the kite sideways again, Dad said we should land it before it got broken. I didn't want to, but I knew he was right. Slowly, I started pulling in more and more of the string. The kite got lower and lower until finally, it drifted right into my arms. I gave it a hug - we had an adventure together! As we took the kite apart and packed it up, I felt sad that it was over. But Dad promised we could go fly it again very soon. He said the weather was getting nicer and there would be many sunny days perfect for kites. I couldn't wait!On the ride home, I looked out the window and gazed at the big white clouds. I imagined my kite soaring among them, riding the winds high up in the endless sky. That's where it belonged, flying free and graceful. I would happily spend all my weekends holding that string if I could. Flying kites is just about the most fun a kid can have!篇2Flying KitesKites are so much fun! My favorite thing to do in the spring is go to the park and fly a kite. It makes me feel free and happy to see the kite dancing in the wind high up in the bright blue sky.Last weekend, my dad took me to the park to fly my new kite.I was so excited! I had picked out the kite myself - it was a big red diamond shape with a long striped tail. We got to the park and the wind was blowing perfectly for kite flying.First, dad helped me unwind the kite string from the little wooden spindle it came wrapped around. He showed me how to hold the string and the kite. "You need to let out some string before you start running," he instructed. "That will help catch the wind better."I let out a few meters of the thin kite string, holding it tightly in my little hands. Dad told me to keep a firm grip. Then he said "Okay, start running!" I took off, running as fast as I could across the grass, holding the kite up high. The wind quickly caught under the kite and it lifted up into the air! "Let out more string!" dad called. I allowed the string to slip through my hands, feeding out more line so the kite could go higher.Soon my kite was hundreds of feet up, tugging on the string and soaring through the sky. What an incredible feeling! I could hardly believe I had this huge kite up there, floating on the wind currents. Dad and I took turns holding the string, walking around the park and guiding the kite through the air. After a while, I noticed the wind was dying down a bit. My kite started drifting lower and lower until it couldn't stay airborne anymore. "Should we try running with it again?" I asked dad. He thought for a second and said "No, I have a better idea - let's try and reel it in for a landing."Slowly, I started winding the kite string back in, keeping it nice and taut. The kite descended beautifully, zig-zagging a little but gradually getting closer and closer to the ground. When it was just a few feet up, I gave one final pull on the string and the kite settled down softly right at my feet! "Great job!" dad cheered, giving me a high-five. I had landed my kite perfectly on my first try.We packed up the kite, rolling the string neatly around the wooden spindle. I couldn't wait to fly it again. Dad says we'll definitely go back to the park soon on another windy day. Maybe next time we can get an even bigger kite! As we walked back to the car, I looked up at the clouds drifting by and dreamed about my kite soaring and dancing among them. There's nothing better than the wind pulling on your kite string as you watch it climb higher and higher into the endless sky. The vibrations running down the line make it feel so alive and powerful, even though you're controlling it from the ground. When the kite dips and turns, it's like it's showing off its tricks and maneuvers just for you. No wonder people have been flying kites for thousands of years - it's simply magical. My friends and I love comparing our kites at school and talking about flying them. Saanvi has a colorful box kite that can reach incredible heights. Jacob's kite looks like a big shark with teeth and everything! Mine is still my favorite though, with its long flowing tail that makes it look like a rocket shooting through the air.Sometimes I imagine myself holding the string tight and running so fast that I could lift off and start flying right alongside my kite. We'd glide over the trees, explore the rooftops, and race through valleys and dip down into canyons. What an adventure that would be! Maybe we'd even travel to far away places,裕er oceans and forests and deserts, seeing the whole world from up among the clouds. For now though, I'm totally happy just watching my kite swirl and spin under the control of my careful tugs on the string. It's amazing how such a simple device - just pieces of fabric, sticks and string - can come alive with the power of the wind. Kites really let you feel connected to nature in a vivid, playful way.Sunny days with kites in the sky are what spring and childhood are all about.I may be just a third grader, but flying kites makes me appreciate the basic wonders of the world around me. The changing winds, the bright colors dancing overhead, the thrill of something you created soaring far beyond your reach yet still tied to you - it's all pretty magical if you think about it. I'm lucky my parents introduced me to the joy of kites at such a young age. It's a pastime I'll surely carry with me into adulthood.Who knows, maybe I'll even get one of those huge tube kites or stunt kites one day and try wildly intricate tricks and maneuvers. For now though, I'm perfectly content running with my basic diamond kite, laughing as it bobs and weaves through the currents. As long as the skies are clear and breezes are blowing, you can count on me spending my weekends at the park, kite in hand and smiling up at my high-flying friend.篇3Flying Kites is the Best!Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a third grader. I absolutely love the second unit we're doing in English class this year allabout kites and flying kites. It's so much fun! I can't wait to tell you all about it.First of all, have you ever actually flown a kite before? If not, you are really missing out! It's one of the most exciting and thrilling activities I've ever done. Just the process of getting the kite up in the air is an adventure. You have to run and run while holding the kite up and letting out the string. Then, when the wind finally catches it, you feel this big tug and you see the kite soaring up into the sky. It's an incredible feeling of joy and accomplishment!Once the kite is up there floating on the wind currents, that's when the real fun begins. You have to keep a tight grip on the string and constantly adjust how much you let out or reel in. If you don't do it just right, the kite will go crashing back down to the ground. But if you can master the technique, you can make the kite dance all around through the air, dipping up and down, flying from side to side. It's like you're an air traffic controller directing the movements of a little pilot up there! The designs and colors of kites also make them super cool to look at. Some of my favorites are the ones that look like animals or mythical creatures. I have one kite that is a huge red dragon and another that looks like a killer whale breaching out of theocean. When they're way up there catching the sunlight, the bright colors and patterns are so vivid and eye-catching. It's almost like there's a zoo or circus act happening up in the sky!Kites can come in all different sizes too, which is neat. The bigger the kite, the more wind power it needs to stay aloft, but also the higher it can soar. My friend Jacob's dad has this massive hot air balloon-sized kite that needs two people to launch it. When they finally get it up in the air, it looks like a real hot air balloon floating around from way down below!Of course, little kites have their advantages too. You don't need as much wind or running speed to get them airborne. And they're much easier to control and maneuver because they don't require as much force. I started off learning with a simple little diamond-shaped kite, and now I prefer flying mid-sized kites that are bigger challenges but not totally mind-boggling. Maybe someday I'll work my way up to controlling one of those huge human-sized numbered stunt kites that do crazy tricks and flips. That would be the ultimate kite flying experience!Another part of the fun of kites is all the wind and weather factors you have to take into account. If there's too much wind, your kite can veer out of control or even snap the string. But too little wind and it just plummets right back down. You have to goout on days with nice, steady breezes to have ideal conditions for flying. Learning to read the wind and pick the perfect days is a skill in itself. I always check the weather reports and look outside to see if the trees are gently swaying first.Rain is disastrous for kites too, because it can weigh them down and ruin the light, airborne materials. I've only made the mistake of flying a kite in the rain once - it turned into a tangled, sopping wet mess within about two minutes! Sunny, clear days are wonderful though. The warmth of the sun's rays rising up from the ground helps create smoother, more predictable wind patterns to cruise along. That's another awesome thing about kite flying - it gets you outside enjoying the fresh air and open spaces. A field, park, beach or even just a backyard can become your blank canvas for painting looping trails across the sky. On nice spring and summer days, the warm breeze and blue sky make for such a refreshing, invigorating experience. You'd never get that cooped up inside! And you can always count on kites to liven up a dull, dreary day too by splashing it with pops of color and movement up above.I should mention that kites can be a little tricky and temperamental though. I've had my fair share of them crashing, getting stuck in trees, or the string breaking while they soar off uncontrollably into the distance, sadly never to be seen again. It takes patience and perseverance to work through those frustrating kite-fighting moments. You can't just give up after it doesn't go right on the first few tries. My dad always tells me that "Good things come to those who wait...and those who know how to reel in and re-launch properly!" He's had years of experience flying kites, so he's a master at troubleshooting and getting them up in the trickiest situations. I'm slowly getting better thanks to his tips, but there's still a long way for me to go before I reach his level! That's probably my favorite part about kites though - they're one of those hobbies and skills you can always keep learning more about and getting better at over many, many years. There's such a sense of accomplishment when you've finally maneuvered a kite through a new trick or technique you've been working on for a long time. It's an awesome feeling! I know I'll keep flying kites my whole life and discovering new ways to enjoy them.I also love that kite flying is an activity that can bring people together across all ages. Little kids, parents, grandparents - everyone can have a blast with it! You always see families out bonding over trying to get a kite up and sharing that excitementand thrill together. And at festivals and parks, there will be groups of kite enthusiasts from age 8 to 80, all comparing notes and marveling at each other's coolest kites. My friends and I have started a kite club at school where we practice flying them every week at recess and are always challenging each other with new stunts.I think my love of kites will really last forever because you can just find so much pure, simple joy and exhilaration from this activity. Whether you're amazed at the sheer spectacle of a light, aerodynamic object somehow defying gravity by riding the wind...or you're relishing the easy gentle tug connecting you to that dancing kite way up there...or you're absorbed in the meticulous skills involved in executing maneuvers smoothly and gracefully...it's just an enthralling experience in every way. There's also just something almost magical about kites. Maybe it's the way they seem to float effortlessly high above us, taunting the laws of physics. Or the delightful unpredictability of their movements, constantly lurching in new directions. Or that inherent nostalgic feeling they give us by representing so purely the thrill of flight and freedom we all dreamed of as young kids. For whatever reasons, kites possess a certain mesmerizing quality that makes you stop, look up, and smile in wonderment. So those are just a few of the reasons why I'm absolutely captivated by kites and thrilled to be learning all about them in my English class this term. I could honestly go on and on because I have so much passion for this topic! I'll just have to cut myself off here though after giving you a small taste of my deep appreciation for the simple joy and artistry of flying kites. I sincerely hope you'll give it a try yourself if you haven't already. And if you have, I'm sure you can relate to how extraordinarily special kites truly are. Keep looking up and let your childlike sense of magic and adventure soar!。
三年级二单元英语作文《看图写话》范文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Picture is Worth a Thousand WordsWhen my teacher told us we had to write a "picture composition" for our English assignment, I wasn't sure what that meant at first. But then she explained that we had to look at a picture and write a story about what we saw happening in the picture. That sounded like fun!The picture she showed us had a boy and a girl in it. The boy was wearing a red shirt and blue shorts. The girl had a yellow dress on with white polka dots. They were both smiling really big and looked very happy. Behind them there was a huge treehouse! It looked like the coolest treehouse ever. It had multiple levels, a slide, a rock climbing wall, and even a zipline attached to it. There were also swings and a seesaw in the backyard area.Just looking at that picture, I could imagine all sorts of adventures the boy and girl must have in that amazing backyard treehouse hideaway. I raised my hand and asked my teacher,"Are we supposed to make up a story about what the kids might do and pretend in the treehouse?""Exactly!" she replied. "Use your imagination and creativity to write an exciting story about those two children and their treehouse adventures."So that's what I decided to do for my picture composition assignment. Here is the story I came up with:The Treehouse ExplorersJohn and Emily were best friends who lived next door to each other. Their backyards were connected and right in the middle was the coolest treehouse ever built. John's dad and Emily's dad had worked really hard all last summer to build the amazing multi-level treehouse, complete with swings, a slide, a climbing wall, and even a zipline! As soon as the construction was done, John and Emily spent practically every waking hour playing in the treehouse. To them, it wasn't just a backyard playset—it was their secret basecamp for adventures and exploration. One morning, John called Emily bright and early. "Emily! Come over quickly. I have an idea for our biggest expedition yet!"Emily rushed through the path connecting their yards, climbing up the rope ladder and into the treehouse's bottom level where John was waiting. "What's the big idea?" she asked excitedly.John grinned and unrolled an old tattered map onto the floor. "Last night, I overheard my dad telling my mom that he uncovered an ancient treasure map when he was a kid! He said it showed the way to...a pirate's buried treasure"Emily gasped. "No way! Are you making this up?""I'm totally serious," John insisted. "And according to the map, the treasure is buried somewhere... IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!"The two friends looked at each other with wide eyes, then back down at the yellowed map. After studying the map's details, Emily pointed at a big red 'X'. "So this must be where the pirate treasure is hidden!"John nodded in agreement. "Which means...WE have to go find it before anyone else does!"From then on, John and Emily spent all their free time working to decipher the scrambled clues and objects drawn on the treasure map. They mapped out the whole neighborhoodfrom the treehouse hideout, discussing various plants, buildings, and landmarks that could match up with the map. They stocked up on supplies like flashlights, binoculars, climbing rope, and trail mix for energy. They made explorers' vests and used sticks as pretend walking sticks. Most importantly, they made sure to keep their top-secret treasure hunt mission completely undercover. It was just too risky to let any adults know what they were up to!Finally, after many days of planning and strategizing from the treehouse basecamp, John and Emily decided they had solved the whole map. They packed their knapsacks and set off on their treasure hunting adventure, venturing forth from the safety of the treehouse into the great unknown of their neighborhood streets.I don't want to give away the whole story in case you want to read further adventures of John and Emily and the treasure hunt another time. But I'll give you a few hints: Their quest involved getting chalk footprint clues at the park, swinging across a ravine on a loose board, trekking through the woods, and a terrifying encounter with the neighbor's pet lizard who turned out to be guarding the treasure at the end! Let's just say John and Emily'sfriendship and courage was put to the ultimate test, but the treasure was well worth their efforts. After that big adventure, John and Emily continued going on amazing pretend expeditions and missions from their treehouse basecamp almost every day that summer. Thanks to their incredible backyard treehouse and wild imaginations, they got to live out action-packed escapades, become explorers and treasure hunters, and create memories that would last a lifetime. What could be better than that? A treehouse really is the ultimate dream for a kid. It lets you ship off to magical places without even leaving your backyard. And with a best friend by your side, you can embark on any adventure your mind can dream up—diving for buried riches one day, blasting off into outer space the next. That's the true spirit of childhood!篇2A Fun Day at the ParkLast Saturday was a really fun day! My mom and dad said we were going to go to the big park near our house. I was super excited because I love going to the park to play on the swings, slides, and other fun stuff. When we got to the park, I saw that it was really crowded with lots of other kids and families there too. The playground area had a huge jungle gym with lots of tunnels, bridges, and places to climb. There were several swingsets with regular swings as well as tire swings. And the biggest slide I had ever seen! It was a twisty tube slide that was at least three stories tall.I ran over to get in line for the big slide first. The line was pretty long, but I didn't mind waiting my turn because I could watch everyone shooting out the bottom of the slide and tumbling onto the rubber ground covering. It looked like so much fun! When I finally made it to the top after what felt like forever, I got a little nervous because it was so high up. But then I went for it and pushed myself into the tunnel. It was dark inside and I could hear my voice echoing as I yelled in excitement going around the twists and turns. Then I shot out the bottom and landed rolling over and over on the rubbery ground. What a rush!Next I went over to the swings. There were normal belt swings as well as some shaped like horses, vehicles, and even a rocket ship! I tried out a few different ones, pumping my legs to go higher and higher. When you swing really high it feels like you're flying through the air. I was having a blast until my momcalled me over because she had brought picnic supplies from our car.We found a nice shaded spot and set out our blanket. Mom had made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (my favorite!), carrot sticks, apple slices, and even a thermos of hot chocolate since it was a bit chilly out. We ate our yummy food while watching other kids and families playing nearby. After our picnic lunch, I decided to check out the jungle gym. All the tunnels, climbing nets, bridges, and obstacles looked like so much fun to explore. I crawled through tube tunnels, climbed up rope netting, walked across wobbly bridges, and generally just had a great time scampering around like a monkey!I took a break from all the climbing to try out some of the other activities at the park. There was an area with Double Dutch jump ropes that some older kids had set up. It looked really tricky, but they showed me how to turn the ropes and let me try jumping in a few times before I got tangled up. I'll have to keep practicing that one! There was also a section with permanent hopscotch, four square, and other ground games marked out on the pavement. As I was hopping around the hopscotch court, I noticed an area that had lots of wood chips and equipment set up likebulldozers, dump trucks, shovels, and rakes. It looked like a construction zone for kids! I rushed over to check it out. You could use the shovels and rakes to move the wood chips around and load them into the toy trucks. Some kids had even built little roads, ramps, and structures out of the chips and trucks. I joined in, helping to build a big pile that we could knock down again and move around. We spent a long time in the construction area until my dad came to tell me it was time to go home soon.On our way out of the park, we passed by the open grassy area where I saw some kids playing frisbee, kicking a soccer ball around, and just running free. I told my parents I wanted to try that next time because it looked really fun to have all that room to run around.By the time we made it back to our car, I was completely tuckered out from all the playing. My face was red, my clothes were ruffled and dirty, and I felt like I could sleep fordays. But it was totally worth it because I had an awesome day at the park! I can't wait to go back again soon.篇3Picture CompositionHi everyone! For our English class this week, we had to write a picture composition essay. That means we got a picture and had to write a story about what was happening in the picture. I thought it would be really hard, but it was actually kind of fun once I got started! The picture we had to write about showed a family at the airport. There was a mom, a dad, a big brother, a little sister, and even a dog! They all looked really excited. The mom and dad were holding suitcases and the kids had little backpacks. Even the dog had a little travel bag! Here's the story I wrote about the picture:The Summer Vacation AdventureIt was finally summer vacation and the Wilson family was headed on a big adventure! Mom, Dad, Michael, Emma, and their dog Rufus were all packed up and at the airport, ready to go."I can't believe we're finally going to Hawaii!" shouted Michael, who was 10 years old. "This is going to be the best summer ever!""Yeah, no more school for two whole months!" said Emma, who was 7. She was holding her stuffed bunny rabbit that she took everywhere.Mom and Dad had been planning this trip to Hawaii for months. It would be their first real family vacation in years since Mom and Dad were always so busy with work."Okay troops, let's go check in and get through security," said Dad. "We don't want to miss our flight!"They got in the long line to check their bags and get their boarding passes. Michael and Emma had never been on a real trip before, so they were super excited. Finally, they got through security and were waiting at their gate to board the plane. Michael and Emma's eyes went wide when they saw how massive the plane was through the window."Wow, we're really going to get to fly on that?" asked Emma."Sure are, peanut!" Dad replied with a smile. "You two are going to be pros after this trip."Soon it was time to get on the plane. They walked through the jet bridge and found their seats. Michael and Emma had never been inside a plane before."This is so cool!" Michael shouted. "Emma, look, there's a TV screen on the back of every seat!"They got buckled in and waited for takeoff with huge grins on their faces. A few minutes later, the plane started accelerating down the runway and then...lift off! They were flying for the very first time. After what felt like a whole day of being stuck in a plane, they finally arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii. Michael and Emma's faces were glued to the window as they descended, looking at the bright blue ocean and beautiful green mountains. When they got off the plane, the warm Hawaiian air and floral smells hit them right away."This place already smells a million times better than back home!" said Michael. They collected their bags and went outside to get their rental car. Dad had booked them a suite at a huge beach resort right on the ocean. When they finally got to the hotel, they couldn't believe their eyes...That's all I have written so far, but I'll definitely keep working on it! I tried to add lots of details to describe what was happening in the picture and how excited the family must have been to go on vacation to Hawaii. I also tried to describe some ofthe experiences the kids might have had, like going through the airport and getting on a plane for the first time.I think writing picture compositions are a fun way to practice creative writing and storytelling skills. You really have to use your imagination to figure out what's going on in the picture and what might happen next. It was a little hard at first, but once I got into it, the story just started flowing. I can't wait to finish it and read it to the class!Well, that's my picture composition essay for this week. Writing stories is one of my favorite things to do in English class.I hope you enjoyed reading my sample essay! Let me know if you have any other questions.。
