Step 5问题探究1.这本书一定属于卡拉。
The_book_must_belong_to_Carla.动词短语belong_to的意思是“属于”,它的后面用名词或者代词作宾语,belong to没有被动语态也没有进行时态。
经常用在句型Something+belongs to+somebody中表示“某物属于某人”,它相当于Something+be+somebody's。
2.这是谁的自行车?Whose_bike_is_this?whose是疑问代词who的所有格形式,在句子中既可以作定语也可以作表语。
用“Whose+名词+一般疑问句”或者“Whose+be+名词”来询问“某物是谁的”。
3.must,may,could,might和can't 表示猜测的用法。
1)这张照片一定是玛丽的,那是她的父母。

That_red_bike_can't_be_your_mother's.must用于肯定句中,表示说话人对事物的推测把握最大,意思是“一定;准是”。
may/might/could这三个词都可以表示说话人对事物的推测,但可能性较小,意思是“有可能;也许”。
