卡西欧登山表PRT-40（1471机芯）通用指南PRT-40（1471机芯）具有自动背光灯功能、计时功能、闹钟功能、秒表功能、数字罗盘功能、高度计功能、气压计功能、温度计功能。
•按C更改模式。
按住C在任何模式下一两秒切换回计时模式。
•除了下面所示的模式，这款手表还配备了数字指南针模式。
详情见“数字罗盘功能”。
背光灯功能这手表有（EL）背光功能，帮助您轻松阅读显示器，即使在完全黑暗的地方，每当你把你的手腕朝你的脸。
它的自动背光功能会自动点亮手表的显示器。
注：•手表的背光采用电致发光（EL）的光，经常使用背光会缩短电池寿命。
•在直接阳光下观察时背光所提供的照明可能很难看到。
•每当显示器亮时，手表就会发出可听见的声音。
这是由一个三极管振动时点亮了EL面板灯。
它不代表手表故障。
•每当警报响起时背光就会自动关闭。
手动打开背光在任何模式下，按E照亮显示器约两秒钟。
开启和关闭自动背光功能在计时模式中，按住D一两秒打开和关闭自动背光功能。
•所有模式下都可以使用自动背光功能。
•为了防止自动运行浪费电池，约三小时后自动背光功能自动关闭，如果你想打开自动背光功能，重复上述步骤。
•在任何模式下按下E照亮显示器约两秒钟，无论自动背光功能开/关设置。
关于自动背光功能当自动背光功能打开时，背光自动点亮约两秒钟，在任何模式下，每当你定位你的手腕如下所述。
