留学生找工作GPA掉到3.5以下,难道就眼睁睁看着被公司拒绝吗?总有一种方法证明我是一个特例◆◆◆◆◆◆我们在申请自己心仪的工作时,总会看到Requirement 这一栏,有一个GPA 的要求在那里。
很多人会认为:既然我GPA 达不到这个门槛,那就代表申请不了的。
首先,我想让大家明白一点,设置GPA 门槛只是公司比较快速找出合适的Candidate 的其中一个方法。
但是不是门槛没过就不考虑?打个简单易懂的比方,很多人遇到另一半之前都说,我的男/女朋友至少身高要xxx以上或者样子要怎样;但最后呢?来了个自己喜欢的,那这些自己当初设定的“门槛”都已经无所谓了。
所以,对于公司来说,这个道理其实是一样的。
我想要再重申一遍:公司请人不光是看GPA ,更重要的是Good fit 。
总是有一些什么办法,让你可以成为让他们破例的人,但是一切就看你怎么做了。
所以,探讨这个问题之前,我们就首先要打破这种定势思维。
如果你都不相信自己能跨过这个障碍,你又怎么能让公司相信你是那个特例呢?首先,GPA不够的时候,你其他方面就得突出,而且不是突出,是非常突出。
我想这个大家肯定都明白。
你既然没有用心保住自己的GPA ,就得在其他地方下功夫,而且是下狠功夫。
