My teaching lesson includes warming up, pre-reading and reading. It mainly introduces our famous agriculturist Yuan Longping and his great contributions .According to learn this lesson, Students can be able to learn some important words, expressions and sentence structures.The students will know some knowledge of agriculture and the significance of organic farming. According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus , after studying the teaching material and analyzing the rule of children’s growing of mind, I think the teaching aims are the followings:Teaching aims:1. Therefore, They are familiar with the knowledge and the information of the countryside. As senior students , they have a certain ability to read. As for the learning methods, they are poor in cooperative learning skills. Some students are not active in the class .Therefore , I ’ll have students study in a relaxed atmosphere.According to the analysis of the teaching material and the students’ learning background , I will use the following methods .Teaching Methods:In my opinion, the main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to develop the students’ abilities of listening, speaking, re ading, writing and their good sense of the English language. 二.学情分析:优点:高一年级学生,智力发展趋于成熟,渐渐形成用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。
通过任务型课堂活动和学习,学生的学习自主性得到加强,主动参与到活动中去,成为课堂的主体,同时也加强了与他人交流合作的能力。
他们会对课文内容提出自己的疑惑和勇于阐述见解,并且从课内知识拓展到课外,通过多种渠道获取学习资源。
不过,学生的水平参差不齐,有些差距还相当大。
因此在教学过程中,布置的任务要兼顾各个层次的学生,争取做到因材施教。
缺点:学习的对象是处于城乡结合部农村的高一学生,他们的英语基础较差,特别是由于词汇量缺乏,阅读习惯不好,导致阅读速度慢、阅读理解能力差。
并且学生在初中已习惯了教师的单向灌输,部分学生由于英语表达能力的欠缺对课堂的互动缺少积极性,学习不够主动自主。
因此,在组织教学活动中,注重学习策略的指导,灌输自主、合作、探究学习的思想,同时注意调整活动任务设置的梯度,使每个学生通过学习活动,都能学有所成,体验到成功。

学生通过一个学期的高中英语学习,对高中学习的要求基本明白,并已基本适应高中学习的要求和方法,具备了一定高中学习的基本技能,初步掌握一些学习策略。
“民以食为天”,粮食问题是人们生存的根本性问题。
中国有14亿人口,可耕种的土地却只占到所有土地的7%。
这么多人口能否吃饭是最大的问题,而农业先驱袁隆平的研究和成就解决了人们的温饱问题。
所以,本单元的内容应该是很多学生熟悉的话题,大多数却对现在农业耕种的两种形式:Chemical farming &organic farming的区别不是很清楚。
这样让学生由熟悉到不熟悉,不断扩展知识和能力,从而最终实现由不熟悉到熟悉的学习体验过程。
2.2 Knowledge reserve知识储备通过高一上期的学习和积累,学生基本完成了从初中到高中的过渡,并在初中基础上扩大了词汇量,也巩固和扩展了话题项目功能和功能意念项目,获取了一些阅读理解的方法和技巧,听说的能力也有一定的提高,所以能较好的完成本单元的学习。
2.3 Class data本班实际本班不是名校班,属于年级第二层次理科实验班,相对于理科平行班来说,学生基础较好,学习能力较强,但本班学生的英语水平有些参差不齐,且因为是理科班,学生在数理化生作业上的压力较大,学生课外完成英语作业的时间相对较少。
加之有的学生对英语学科的重视程度不够,部分学生英语学习的自觉性还有待加强。
因此,教学任务基本需要在课堂上完成,但是通过小组合作互助,基本能完成课前预习的任务。
