Christmas bread

一、教学内容:

1.阅读内容:

On Christmas Eve, the giant family is preparing their dinner. A piece of bread falls.

A fox is looking for food in the forest. He finds some bread. “Wow! Bread! I will have a nice Christmas dinner!”

The poor family is preparing their dinner. A piece of bread falls on the ground.

A dog is looking for food in the house. He finds the bread. “Wow! Bread! I will have a nice Christmas dinner!” The dog takes the bread home. He drops some pieces of bread on the way.

An ant is looking for food on the ground. He finds the bread.”Wow!Bread! We will have a nice Christmas dinner!” He calls in other ants.

Merry Christmas!

二、教学目标:

(一)知识与技能目标:

1. 在学习阅读文章的过程中,能听懂、会说文章中所提及的giant, prepare, fall,forest,poor五个单词,理解他们的含义,并学会单词prepare的现在

分词形式preparing.

2. 能通过图片、动作、表演等辅助手段,了解文章所表达的意思。

3. 能根据录音、提示词、图片的帮助,利用文章中所学的语言对文章相关的五

副图进行描述。

(二)过程与方法目标:

1. 通过拼读五步法,录音等方法帮助学生学习理解新单词。

2. 通过小表演,使学生在真实情景中运用句型。

3. 通过图片提示,学生表演等形式帮助学生理解文章,用自己的语言描述故事。

(三)情感态度价值观目标:

通过这篇文章,激发学生对阅读的兴趣,使他们面对较长的一段文字时,愿

意读下去。

三、教学重难点:

(一)重点:

1、新单词的认读和文章的朗读,文章大意的理解。

2、根据图片提示,词组提示,用所学的语言描述故事。

(二)难点:

根据图片提示,词组提示,用所学的语言描述故事。

四、教具准备:图片,PPT,文章相关音频。

五、教学过程:

(一)Warming up

讲明评价方式:

T:Do you like bread? Do you like Christmas?

S:Yes!

T:Today let’s learn a story , the name is “Christmas bread”! If you’re

good today, you will get a piece of bread from Miss Zhang. Are you ready? S: Yes.

T: OK, let’s go.

活动一:听故事

活动目标:对故事进行整体输入,帮助学生明白故事的大概内容。

实施方法及师生预设语言:

T:Let’s listen to the tape and tell us what can you hear in the story,

who is in the story?

S: Listen to the story and answer: the giant family, a fox, the poor family,

a dog, an ant.

二)Presentation and practice

活动一:听出故事三要素

活动目标:根据提示词,通过学生听文章的第一句,找出这个故事的时间、人

物、事件。

实施方法及师生预设语言:

T:First let’s listen to the first sentence of the story, please tell me when did the story happen?

S:Listen and answer the question: Christmas Eve, the giant family, prepare their dinner.

T: Listen to the tape and finish the whole sentence:

On Christmas Eve, the giant family is preparing their dinner.

强调:prepare--------preparing

活动二:What’s happened?

活动目标:根据图片提示,按照故事的发展,学习故事。

实施方法及预设语言:

T:(边指图边描述)A piece of bread falls.

S:Listen to the tape and repeat.

T: What is the fox doing? Listen to the tape.

S:Listen to the tape and answer: A fox looking for food in the forest. T: Learn the words: look for forest(五指拼读法)

T:He finds some bread. He said:Wow! Bread! I will have a nice Christmas dinner!

S: Listen to the tape and imitate, take the bread and perform:

Wow! Bread! I will have a nice Christmas dinner!

The students who performs will get a piece of bread.

T:Show the picture of the poor family, what are they doing?

S:Listen and answer: They are preparing their dinner.

T: A piece of bread falls on the ground! They find some bread. If you are them, what will you say?

S: Wow! Bread! We will have a nice Christmas dinner!(表演)

T:The dog is also looking for food in the house. He finds some bread. He will say?

S: Wow! Bread! I will have a nice Christmas dinner!

T:The dog takes the bread home. He drops some piece of bread on the way. An ant is coming. He is looking for food on the ground.

He finds some bread, he will say?

S: Wow! Bread! I will have a nice Christmas dinner!

T:They are very happy and say “Merry Christmas!”

四)Production

活动1:Listen to the whole story again and perform with the students. 活动目标:学习完整体的故事以后,按照黑板上的图片及短语提示,老师带领着学生将故事完整的描述一遍,注意表情和动作。

活动2:学生表演。
