三、课堂教学资源:“soccer”指英式足球,即按英国足球协会制定的规则进行的足球运动,我们常说的风靡全世界的足球指的就是“soccer”。
“soccer”是“association football”的简写,起初简称“assoc”,后又简称“soc”,最后写成“soccer”或“socker”。
“football”有两种含义:“American football”与“rugby football”。
“American football”指美式足球,简称“football”;“rugby football”指的是橄榄球,简称“rugby”。

①some 一般用在肯定句中。
如: There are some girls in the classroom. 教室里有一些女孩。
some有时也用于疑问句,表示期望得到肯定回答,并不表示对某事有疑问。
如: Will you give me some ink? 请给我一些墨水好吗?②any一般用于疑问句和否定句中。

《Ping-pong and Basketball 》作业设计一、作业设计意图教材分析:本套教材是由河北教育出版社和DC 加拿大国际交流中心合作编写,教材强调语言的学习以多输入、多接触为主,使教学呈现出“学习活动化,活动交际化“的崭新局面,六年级下册围绕运动、健康的生活、暑假活动以及李明如何和朋友们道别等话题展开,本课选自第一单元第一课,围绕体育运动展开教学,本课是对话课,围绕Jenny 和Li Ming 关于运动话题的讨论,让学生学习有关体育运动的表达,要求掌握四会单词sport 、football 、any 、some 、wear ;学习重点是表达喜欢的运动;区分“some ”和“any ”的用法,并能够运用此类句型进行交际。
学情分析:六年级的学生已具备一定的听、说、写的能力。
本课是对运动话题展开讨论,贴合学生生活实际,利于学生进入情境,课上我积极调动学生的原有知识和运动经验,激发学生的学习热情,从而培养孩子们的综合语言运用能力,但是本班学生在听力和语言运用方面相对薄弱,因此在作业设计环节我注重学生实际,丰富作业内容,加强了此类题型的训练。
作业结构:分层设计作业内容由浅入深设计为三个等级,允许学生自主选择,鼓励学生积极完成。
一星作业是“必做题”,二星和三星作业是“选做题”,可选择其中一项完成,作业完全正确,可获得星星贴纸的奖励,集满5个星星贴纸的同学,可以参与幸运抽奖一次。
作业总量:分为三个板块,预计20分钟完成。
一星作业:共计4题,听力题两道,看图写短语和翻译句子。

Today my topic is Ping-pong and Basketball. It’s my great honor to present my lesson here. To make my presentation much clearer, I’ll describe my thoughts in the following 6 aspects: analysis of teaching materials,analysis of students, teaching methods, learning methods, teaching procedures and blackboard design. Now I am going to present them one by one.Part One: Analysis of the Teaching MaterialThis lesson is the first period of unit1 in book 8 HBEP. The unit is mainly about sports and this lesson is a dialogue between Jenny and LiMing about their favorite sports, which is close to the students' real life. As the first lesson of this unit, it is helpful to raise students’ interests about sports and it also will be beneficial for them to learn the rest of the unit.Based on the new curriculum standard,I set three teaching objectives:1. Then I will show them some pictures of famous sports stars such as YaoMing, Beckham and ZhangYining, then ask them some questions :“Who are they? What are they doing? What does he/she like to do?” And then tell them the theme ofthis lesson is about your favorite sports . It is helpful to arouse t he students’ interest of study and bring in new subject.Step 2: presentation of new class(part1) First, I will show some pictures about various sports to learn the new words: sport, basketball, football and ping-pong, then leave the platform and stand among the students to ask them to answer my questions one by one “What sports do you play? What is your favorite sport? What sports do you like best?". Ss will answer my question :" I play basketball. Ping-pong is my favorite sport or I like ping-pong best". After that, I will play the tape of part1 and let students read after it to correct their pronunciation.(part2) Second, I will let students to review the words we have learned about clothes by showing some pictures such as T-shirt and shorts, then tell them I always wear a T-shirt and shortsto play ping-pong. Then ask some Ss “Do you have a T-shirt? Do you have any ping-pong balls? What do you need to buy?” After their answering, I will say “ T hat’s okay. We can buy some.” At this time, I will show two sentences on the blackboard “They have some bread for breakfas t. Do you have any water?”. Then let students pay attention to the usage of “some” and “any” according to the types of sentences. After that, students will read after the tape of part2 to immitate the pronunciation.Through this step, students can understand and master the new words, phrases and sentences better. It also can improve their learning interest.Step 3 practiceIn this step, I will design three activities to consolidate what they learned. Let students learn to play and play to learn.(1)Pair work: Ss role-play the dialogue with their partners. One is Jenny and the other is LiMing, then they exchange. Then some pairs will be invited to act it out in front of the class.(2) Group work: make a survey. I ask Ss to make a survey in a group of 4 to find out what sports their classmates play and their favorite sports.
