tall short big small fat thin 及描述动物外形的英语表达方式和句型，“This ... is…” /“That ... is ...”。
学情分析：
经过一个学期的学习，学生已经适应了英语课堂教学，但由于年龄的特点，注意力容易分散，缺乏观察、发现、判断、总结事物的能力与方法，对自己有时不能严格要求，一些良好的学习习惯尚未定型。
所以在本学期，我们应该继续加强良好的英语学习习惯的养成训练，有步骤、有计划的在教学过程中逐一落实。
教学目标：

A．听说读三会掌握单词man（男人）、short（矮的）、tall（高的）、small （小的）、thin（瘦的）、big（大的）
B．掌握语言： This/That … is tall/ short/ big/ small.
2．能力目标：提高学生英语口语水平，和运用英语的能力。

C. 课件图片呈现一胖一瘦的猴子，引出fat thin并教学，教学句型

big small fat thin ，让学生认读单词卡片，先师领读再优生领读，单词操练：
1.小组内用单词卡片，小组长负责教会本组成员。
然后开火车比赛，把全班分为四组比赛。
一人读一个单词，不重复。
老师展示卡片，学生一个个的读。
读的准确，流利的小组获胜得分。
2.游戏：老师和学生一起边做动作边
说tall short big small fat thin .让学生理解它的含义。

教学反思：
语言源于生活，服务于生活，才有其实际意义，今天学习Module 2 Unit 2 That man is short. 描述动物外形的英语表达方式和句型，学生马上能够用英语描述同学的外观体型。
我为学生的活泼和热情感动，也为英语能够在生活中灵活运用而欣慰。
语言学习的目的，就是将她作为工具，帮助服务于人们的工作和学习，因此语言学习的重要手段，就是在生活当中运用，只有这样学习运用才能学好语言。
