注意引导学生区分[i:]和[i]这两个元音。
5.给学生一分钟时间,看课文第2部分图示,并用英语回答提问。

共分4个课时:本节课是整个单元的第一节Section A:1a-2a,重点学会谈论自己的生日和询问同伴的生日。
教学内容:Section A: 1a —2a,生日由月和日构成,涉及12个月份的单词和1-31的序数词,所以把佃和2a 安排在一起,以构成生日日期后学习1a的句型:When is your birthday?... 教学目标:1)知识目标:A.掌握十二个月份和序数词1-31的表达和使用;B. 学会日期表达方法;C. 学会如何询问他人生日。
2)能力目标:A.能够正确表达日期B •能够询问某人的生日3)情感目标:A.了解英语中某月某月的表达方法B. 通过学会询问他人的生日,使学生学会关心他人,并增进彼此之间的感情。
教学重点:日期表达方法,询问同伴的生日。

从培养学生的听力、口语能力入手,让学生流利地用英语询问他人生日并作出正确的回答,会灵活使用序数词及其对应的缩写形式,同时掌握英语中月日的正确书写。
教学突破:创设语境,突出听力和口语表达,反复训练句型及对话。
在练习中正确使用月份名词,序数词,培养学生捕捉关键词的能力。
注重方法与价值观的培养:以听说领先,在英语语境中大量感知本单元的重要词汇和句型,养成良好的学习英语的习惯。
在已有的语言基础上归纳总结序数词的书写规则和序数词的具体用法,使知识的记忆形象化、系统化。
采用Pair work和Group work相结合的方式询问他人生日,询问某个活动的时间的英文句型。
通过课堂活动,让学生在小组活动中不断提高自己的英语口语能力和综合运用语言的能力。
