本单元的语法为正确使用现在进行时表达正在发生的动作或存在的状态。

本课时是本单元的第二课时，在Section A第一课时的话题、词汇、语言结构和语言技能上都有所拓展。

本课时在词汇方面，引入了短语clean the house, eat out与drink tea。

2d的role-play可以与3b整合在一起,训练后输出展示talking on the phone in English 这项语言表达技能。

Grammar Focus表格向学生展示了本单元的语法功能句，3a活动是考查学生对由分散短语到正确句子的表达能力。

3c通过我来演你来猜活动进一步练习了现在进行时中一般疑问句的正确表达和答语，提醒学生注意语音语调和be动词的正确使用。
