影评:《阿甘正传》(Forrest Gump)
1My Favorite Movie - Forrest GumpHi, my name is Timmy and I'm going to tell you about my very favorite movie of all time - Forrest Gump! It's such an awesome and amazing movie. I've watched it like a million times already and I never ever get tired of it. Every single time I see it, I laugh and cry and get so happy. Forrest Gump is seriously the best movie ever made!Okay, so Forrest Gump is about this really nice guy named Forrest who has a disability that makes him kind of slow and different from other people. But don't feel bad for him - Forrest is the coolest and he gets to do so many incredible things! The movie shows his whole life story from when he was just a little kid all the way until he's an old man. When Forrest is little, he has to wear leg braces because his back is crooked. All the mean kids make fun of him and call him names, which is so not cool. But Forrest doesn't let it get him down. He's just a happy little guy who loves life. His best friend isthis girl named Jenny who doesn't make fun of him even though she's pretty and popular. Jenny is so lucky to have Forrest as her friend! One day, Forrest gets picked on by some real jerks on the school bus. But he gets away by just running as fast as he can while still wearing his leg braces! Turns out Forrest can run really, really fast. Like a crazy superhero or something! His friend Jenny gets really scared by the bullies though, which makes me sad for her.So anyway, Forrest just keeps on running across neighborhoods, roads, fields, everywhere! He runs so far that he runs right out of his leg braces and just keeps on going. That's when the cops show up and try to stop him, but Forrest just outruns their cars too! He becomes like this running legend that everybody hears about. It's so funny and awesome.Eventually, Forrest ends up at a college where he joins the football team and turns out to be an amazing football player - all because of his crazy running skills from childhood. The football scouts love him and say he can run through anything! On the field, he runs over every player who tries to tackle him. He just busts right through them like a turbo-charged bulldozer!Forrest's mom is so proud of him and gets to go on TV and everything. After college, Forrest gets drafted into the army to go fight in the Vietnam War, even though he doesn't really understand what's going on with that whole situation. I don't really get it either so I'm glad the movie doesn't spend too much time on that part. The important thing is that Forrest saves his lieutenant's life and becomes a big war hero! He gets awarded the Medal of Honor which is like the biggest award you can get as a soldier. How cool is that? But that's not all the crazy stuff Forrest gets to do. He also becomes a Ping-Pong champion and gets to meet the President of the United States! He's like a professional runner, football star, war hero, Ping-Pong champ, and presidential buddy all rolled into one. And the whole time, he's still just his funny self, saying hilarious things without even trying to be funny. I wish I could be more like Forrest and not worry so much about what people think of me.The one sad part about the movie is what happens to his friend Jenny. She grows up to live a pretty messed up life for a while, doing drugs and getting mixed up with bad people. It's hard to watch her be so lost when Forrest loves her so much. Ialways cry during those parts. But don't worry, it has a really happy ending when they finally get married and have a son together!By the end of Forrest Gump, he accomplishes so many unbelievable things just by being himself - a kind, brave, honest guy who never gives up and always sees the bright side of life. He affects so many other people's lives in amazing ways just by treating everyone with respect and friendship. That's what I admire most about Forrest and why he's one of my biggest heroes.Forrest Gump has lots of funny jokes, exciting adventures, sad emotional parts, and a heart-warming message about love and life. Every single person needs to watch this movie! It's so awesome and amazing and I've learned so many valuable lessons from it. Like, you should never judge someone just because they're different. And you should always be篇2Here's an essay about Forrest Gump in English, written from the perspective of a young student, around 2000 words long:My Favorite Movie: Forrest GumpHi, my name is Tommy, and I'm going to tell you about my absolute favorite movie ever – Forrest Gump! It's a really old movie that came out way before I was born, but my dad showed it to me a few years ago, and I've watched it like a bazillion times since then. It's just so good!Forrest Gump is about this guy named Forrest who doesn't have a very high IQ, but he's the nicest, most genuine person you'll ever meet. The movie follows his life from when he's a little kid all the way into his older years. Even though Forrest isn't very smart, he ends up being part of so many important moments in history just by being in the right place at the right time. It's really cool! The movie starts with Forrest sitting on a bench, waiting for a bus. While he's waiting, he starts telling strangers all about his life story. That's how we, the audience, get to learn about everything he's been through. As a kid, Forrest had to wear leg braces because his back was crooked, and all the other kids made fun of him for being "different." But his best friend Jenny always stuck by his side, no matter what.Forrest's mom is honestly one of the best characters in the whole movie. She's this strong, caring woman who never lets anything get Forrest down. She always tells him, "Stupid is asstupid does," which means that it doesn't matter if you're not very smart as long as you're a good person who doesn't do stupid things. I wish my mom was as cool as Forrest's mom! When Forrest grows up, he joins the army and gets sent to fight in the Vietnam War. Now, I know war is a really serious thing, but Forrest's experiences in Vietnam are actually pretty funny. Like, he becomes a hero for saving his entire platoon, but he does it in the most accidental, Forrest Gump kind of way. He just runs and runs and runs, and all his troops end up following him away from danger. It's hilarious! After the war, Forrest becomes a ping-pong champion and gets to meet President Nixon at the White House. He also starts a successful shrimping business and makes a fortune by accident when Hurricane Carmen hits. Oh, and let's not forget about the time he accidentally becomes an inspiration for folks protesting the Vietnam War and creates the famous "S**t happens" saying. Forrest just stumbles into all these crazy situations without even meaning to!But my favorite part of the whole movie is Forrest's relationship with Jenny. Even though they go years without seeing each other, Forrest never stops loving her. Jenny has a really tough life filled with abuse and heartbreak, but Forrest isalways there for her no matter what. Their scenes together are so sweet and heartwarming. When they finally get married and have a son together, I was smiling from ear to ear. True love always wins in the end!The ending of Forrest Gump always makes me cry happy tears. Forrest is such a kindhearted, wonderful person, and he lives an incredible life despite all the challenges he faces. The movie teaches you that it doesn't matter if you're not the smartest or the coolest – if you have a good heart and never give up on your dreams, you can accomplish anything. That's such an important message for kids like me.I really can't recommend Forrest Gump enough. It's funny, heartwarming, exciting, and sad all at the same time. The characters are so lovable, especially Forrest himself. Tom Hanks, the actor who plays Forrest, is absolutely perfect in the role. He makes you feel every single emotion that Forrest is feeling. After you watch this movie, you'll want to be just like Forrest – kind, loyal, determined, and proud of who you are.So that's my take on the greatest movie of all time, Forrest Gump! It's a true classic that anyone of any age can enjoy. If you haven't seen it yet, please do yourself a favor and watch it as soon as possible. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll leave thetheater (or living room) realizing that life is like a box of chocolates – you never know what you're gonna get! Thanks for reading my essay. Run, Forrest, run!篇3My Favorite Movie: Forrest GumpHi everyone! Today I want to tell you about my absolute favorite movie of all time - Forrest Gump! It's such an awesome and exciting story. I've watched it like a gazillion times and I never get tired of it. Let me tell you all about it!Forrest Gump is about this really nice guy named Forrest who doesn't have a very high IQ but is just the sweetest, most kindhearted person ever. The movie follows his life from when he's just a little kid with leg braces all the way into his adult years. When Forrest is little, he lives with his mama in a small town in Alabama. His best friend is this girl named Jenny who lives next door. Even though Forrest has to wear ugly leg braces and gets picked on a lot by the mean bullies at school, he and Jenny become bestest friends. Jenny's life at home is really sad though because her dad is so mean to her.One day, the bullies are chasing Forrest and Jenny and Forrest's leg braces break off! He starts running really really fast to get away and doesn't stop running for like three whole years! He just runs across the entire country back and forth, running for days and nights without stopping. It's crazy! After his big running adventure, Forrest goes to college on a football scholarship because the coach saw how fast he could run. At college, he meets this guy named Bubba who tells him all about the shrimping business. Forrest and Bubba become great friends and make a promise to go into the shrimping business together after college. But then, sadly, Bubba gets sent to fight in the Vietnam War. Forrest decides to enlist too so he can watch over Bubba and keep him safe. In Vietnam, Forrest saves tons of soldiers' lives and does really brave things, even though he doesn't really understand what's going on with the war. When Bubba dies in the war, Forrest is totally heartbroken. But he decides to honor their dream by using the money he got for being so brave to start up the "Bubba Gump Shrimp Company." It becomes a huge success and makes Forrest a zillionaire!Meanwhile, his childhood friend Jenny has had such a tough life. She gets mixed up with hippies and drugs and doesn't make the best choices. But no matter what, Forrest never stops loving her and thinking she's the most beautiful girl in the world. There's so much more that happens in the movie - like when Forrest gets to meet several US presidents just by happening to be in the right place at the right time. Or when he becomes an amazing ping pong player and gets to compete for the US team. It's such a roller coaster of a story! What I love most about Forrest Gump is how genuinely kind-hearted and good Forrest is. Even though he's not very smart, he has more goodness in his heart than anyone. He never judges people and always sees the best in them. Whenever bad things happen to him, he just rolls with the punches and keeps on going with a smile.I also love all the important events from history that are woven into the story, like the Vietnam War, the Black Panther movement, and the Watergate scandal. It's so cool seeing Forrest right in the middle of all that stuff! It really brings history to life in a fun way.The acting is just fantastic too! Tom Hanks does an amazing job as Forrest. He somehow makes this character who has an IQof 75 seem so lovable, wise, and deeply human. It's one of the most iconic and moving performances ever. The rest of the cast is awesome too, especially Robin Wright as Jenny and Gary Sinise as Forrest's officer friend Lieutenant Dan.So if you've never seen Forrest Gump, you reeeeeally need to watch it immediately! It's an absolute classic with tons of laughs, romance, drama, and history all rolled into one. I'm not joking when I say it's truly my favorite movie ever and I'll never get tired of watching it. It has so much heart and always leaves me feeling warm and fuzzy inside. I hope you'll all love it just as much as I do!篇4My Favorite Movie: Forrest GumpForrest Gump is the bestest movie ever! They name the boat after Bubba and it turns into a huge successful company with lots of money. A whole bunch of people start following behind him just because they think it's so cool how he never quits. Forrest becomes like a nationwide celebrity! My favorite character other than Forrest is definitely Lieutenant Dan. At first he's really grumpy because he lost his legs in Vietnam. But after making all that shrimping money with Forrest, he turns his life around and becomes happier. He gets cool robot legs and everything! The love story between Forrest and Jenny is so sweet but also really sad. It's called "Forrest Gump" and it's just the best! It's got everything - adventure, love, history, and lots and lots of chocolates!Forrest Gump is about this really nice guy named Forrest who doesn't have a very high IQ but he's just about the sweetest fella you ever did meet. The movie starts when Forrest is a little kid with leg braces living in Alabama. His mama really loves him a whole lot and tells him "Stupid is as stupid does." That means it doesn't matter if you're not very smart, as long as you're a good person.Well let me tell you, Forrest is one of the goodest people ever! He's so kind and never means any harm to nobody. When some bullies start picking on him, he has to run really fast to get away because of his leg braces. Wouldn't you know it, Forrest can run like the wildest racehorse you ever did see! He just goes running and running until the braces come plumb off his legs. That's when Forrest meets Jenny, the girl he's gonna love for his whole entire life. Jenny doesn't have a mama or daddy who love her, so her life is real hard. But her and Forrest become best friends right away. Jenny loves to joke around and climb trees and get hurt. Forrest just wants to make sure she doesn't get too hurt.Well time goes by and Forrest and Jenny get older. Forrest joins the army and has to go fight in the Vietnam War. He don't understand much about wars but he's a real good soldier. One time his whole platoon gets attacked and there's bullets flying everywhere! Forrest saves lots of his army buddies and becomes a big old hero. The army gives him a super important medal. But the best part is, while he's running through the jungle carrying all his injured buddies, he gets shot in his butt! Those bullets were smokin' his rear end up good! After that, every time Forrest runs he looks like a crazy fool with his butt flapping around. It's just about the funniest thing you ever did see!Eventually, Forrest gets out of the army and comes on home to Alabama. But his life is all kinds of wacky after that! First off, he goes running across America about a bajillion times just cause he feels like it. Everybody thinks he's crazy but I think it's kinda neat. Then Forrest meets this army buddy named Lieutenant Dan who lost his legs in the war. Poor ol' Lieutenant Dan is real sad and angry about not having his legs no more. So Forrest takes him into the shrimpin' business! Well their little shrimpin' boat gets caught in a big hurricane and they have to lash themselves to the ship's mast. Lieutenant Dan gets struck by lightning and it's crazy! But you know what happens? That hurricane just blows every other shrimpin' boat clean out of the water! When Forrest and Lieutenant Dan get back, they're richer than the Queen of England from catching so many shrimps! Just cause of a little hurricane, Forrest becomes one of the richest fellas around. The best part though is when Forrest finally gets together with his childhood sweetheart Jenny. She's had it real rough in her life with lots of troubles and getting mixed up with bad folks. But Forrest is always sweet on her no matter what. At the end, Jenny has a little baby boy named Forrest Jr. and finally gets her chance at a happy life.Sadly though, Jenny gets real sick with this awful virus. She makes Forrest promise to go see her childhood home one last time. Well ol' Forrest keeps that promise and takes little Forrest Jr. there after Jenny passes away. He tells his son all about hismama Jenny and what a queen she was. Even though it's sad, you can tell Jenny is happy and at peace at last. And that's why I just love "Forrest Gump" so much! It's got lots of funny parts that make you laugh your head clean off. It's got history like Vietnam and big hurricanes. There's drama and love between Forrest and Jenny. But most of all, it's just got so much heart. Forrest might not be the sharpest tool in the sheddy, but he's a good soul who never gives up on life no matter what. His mama was right - he's a real humble and decent fella. Watching the movie makes you feel real good inside, just like life is like a box of chocolates with all kinds of surprises!Anyways, that's my favoritest movie in the whole wide world! If y'all haven't seen Forrest Gump yet, you gotta put it at the top of your watch-list pronto! It'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry, and it'll make your heart smile real big. It's just perfect!。
为什么选择阿甘正传为电影英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Why I Picked the Movie Forrest GumpI really, really love the movie Forrest Gump! It's my total favorite movie ever. That's why I picked it for my English class assignment on writing about a movie. Let me tell you all the reasons why Forrest Gump is just the bestest.First of all, the main character Forrest is super duper lovable. Even though he has a disability that makes him not very smart, he is the kindest, sweetest, most innocent person ever. He doesn't judge anyone and he tries his hardest at everything he does. Whether it's being a college football star, fighting in the Vietnam War, running across America, or being a really good friend, Forrest gives it his all. He's goofy and funny but in a really endearing way.Forrest is played by the actor Tom Hanks, and let me just say, Tom Hanks is amazing in this movie! He makes you completely believe that he is this simple, pure-hearted guy. Some of the scenes where he's talking in his iconic Southern accent andsaying cute things like "My momma always said, 'Life was like a box of chocolates...'" just make me smile from ear to ear. He's so perfectly cast. But Forrest Gump isn't just a one-man show. He meets so many wonderful people throughout his life that make the movie even more special. Like his best friend Bubba who dreams of buying a shrimping boat. And his other friend Lieutenant Dan who starts off being mean to Forrest but eventually becomes his close pal. And of course, the love of his life Jenny, who has a really sad childhood but finds peace and happiness by the end.The soundtrack is also just sublime. Full of classic rock songs from the 1960s and 70s that are the perfect fit for the time periods shown. Whenever songs like "Mrs. Robinson" or "Fortunate Son" play, it instantly transports you and gets you excited for what's coming next. The music is used so well.I have to mention as well how impressively the movie combines crazy fictional events with real historical moments. One minute Forrest is teaching Elvis Presley to dance, the next he's accidentally becoming a Ping-Pong diplomat and visiting China. He just seems to always be at the right place at the right time for major events! From meeting Presidents to joiningfamous protest rallies, Forrest's random luck constantly puts him into unbelievable situations that are hilarious to watch. And that's not even getting into all the important themes and messages in the movie about fate, unconditional love, following your dreams, and not letting disabilities or hardships stop you. There's so much you can analyze and discuss about this deep, layered film.Basically, Forrest Gump has everything - laughs, tears, inspirational lessons, creativity, and nonstop entertainment value. It's a true masterpiece made with so much care and artistry. You can watch it a million times and still find new amazing things about it. Seriously, what's not to adore?I really hope I convinced you how wonderful and impactful Forrest Gump is as a movie. If you haven't seen it yet, you absolutely have to! Just thinking about it makes me want to watch it again right now. I can quote the entire thing by heart at this point. "Run Forrest, run!" "Mama always had a way of explaining things so I could understand them." See, I told you!So in conclusion, I picked Forrest Gump for my assignment because it's:a) Hilarious and heartwarmingb) Has an iconic lead performancec) A legendary soundtrackd) Creative blending of fiction and historye) Layered with meaning and positive messagesf) An all-around incredible, rewatchable gemWhat more could you ask for in a film? Thanks for reading my essay and I hope y'all love Forrest Gump as much as I do! It's just a wonderful piece of cinema.篇2Why I Love the Movie Forrest GumpForrest Gump is one of my all-time favorite movies! It's a really long movie, but it never feels boring. There's always something exciting or funny happening. I could watch it over and over again. The main character, Forrest Gump, is played by the actor Tom Hanks. Forrest is a little bit different - he has a lower IQ than most people. But that doesn't stop him from having the craziest adventures and doing amazing things with his life. Forrest is so kind, honest and good-hearted. I want to be more like him when I grow up.Forrest's best friend is a girl named Jenny. Even though they grow up together and go through so much, their lives go in very different directions for a long time. Jenny has a really hard life filled with a lot of sadness. But Forrest never gives up on her and always cares about her. Their friendship is tested over and over but it never breaks. The movie spans several decades, from Forrest's childhood in the 1950s and 1960s, all the way through to the 1980s when he's an adult. I love how the movie shows important events from American history, like the Vietnam War, the Black Panther movement, and the Watergate scandal. But it shows them from Forrest's unique perspective as someone who seems simple on the outside, but has an amazing inner life. Some of the funniest and most unbelievable parts are when Forrest accidentally becomes a famous person or hero, without even meaning to. Like when he becomes an amazing college football player and a war hero who saved lots of soldiers' lives. Or when he starts running across America for years and becomes a celebrity for it. I laugh so hard at those parts! It's silly but also kind of inspirational how he stumbles into doing great things. There are also really sad moments that make me cry. Especially when people Forrest loves get hurt or pass away. Butthrough it all, Forrest stays hopeful, grateful and kind. He doesn't let the hard times get him down for long. I admire that about him so much. The movie has beautiful scenery and is filmed in so many cool locations across America. It makes me want to travel around my country when I'm older. The music in the movie is awesome too - it has so many classic rock and pop songs that I know and love.Overall, Forrest Gump is an amazing movie that makes me feel so many different emotions. I'm utterly captivated from the opening scene with the feathers blowing in the breeze. The story has tons of laughter, suspense, heartbreak and valuable life lessons. Most importantly, it shows that even if you aren't the smartest or most capable person, you can still live an extraordinary life and make a positive impact on the world. I'll never get tired of watching Forrest's incredible journey!篇3Why I Picked Forrest Gump for My Movie English EssayHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm in 5th grade. For our English class, we had to pick a movie and write about why we chose that movie. I picked the 1994 classic Forrest Gump starringTom Hanks. Let me tell you all the reasons why I think Forrest Gump is the perfect movie for this assignment!First of all, Forrest Gump has a really cool and interesting story. It's about this guy named Forrest who doesn't have a very high IQ but he's just the nicest, most positive person ever. The movie follows his entire life from when he was a little kid with leg braces all the way through fighting in the Vietnam War, running across America, making lots of money, and more! So many crazy, funny, sad, and awesome things happen to Forrest.Like when he was a kid, he had to wear leg braces but then one day the braces just broke off and he could suddenly run really fast. That helped him get on the school's football team and even meet the president! How cool is that? A regular kid like Forrest getting to meet the president just because he's a fast runner. That could never happen to me!Then there's the part where Forrest joins the army and fights in Vietnam. He saves his lieutenant's life and they award him the Medal of Honor, which is a really big deal. But Forrest doesn't even realize how brave he was, he just thinks he was doing the right thing to help his friend. That's just how humble and nice he is.My favorite part though is definitely when Forrest decides to go for a run one day and he just keeps on running across the entire country! People start following him and running with him, it turns into this huge thing. Forrest doesn't really understand why it's such a big deal, he's just doing it because he feels like running. That always makes me laugh how literal and straightforward he is about everything. On top of the awesome story, the characters in Forrest Gump are so good too. Tom Hanks does an amazing job playing the title role. You just want to give Forrest a big hug because he's such a kind soul who sees the beauty in everything. His mom is super supportive and always sticks up for him too which is really nice.Forrest's best friend Bubba is hilarious as well. All he can talk about is his dreams of buying a big shrimpin' boat and catching shrimp, which becomes an important part of the story later on. Lieutenant Dan is another epic character who starts off as a huge jerk to Forrest but then grows to really care about and admire him over time.I also love that Forrest Gump has cool historical stuff mixed into the story. Since it takes place over many decades, Forrest interacts with famous figures like Elvis Presley, John F. Kennedy, and John Lennon. He influences major events like the Vietnam War protests and Watergate scandal without even meaning to. It's funny but it also helps you learn about history in an entertaining way.Plus, the movie just looks beautiful. The scenery and camerawork is top-notch, especially during Forrest's long run across America. The special effects for making the old footage of presidents and celebrities look like they're in scenes with Forrest is incredibly well done too. Everything about it is high quality filmmaking.Forrest Gump has drama, comedy, romance, action - it literally has everything you could want in a movie. But more importantly, it has a huge heart. The core message that you don't have to be the smartest person to make a positive difference in the world is so powerful. Forrest teaches us that kindness, determination, and being true to yourself is way more important than book smarts. That's why I chose Forrest Gump for my movie English essay. It's an iconic, heartwarming, funny story with awesome characters and production values. But most of all, it's a feel-good movie that leaves you feeling really happy and inspired afterwatching it. I know I'll remember the lessons and quotes from Forrest Gump for the rest of my life!So those are all the reasons why in my opinion, Forrest Gump is not only a perfect pick for this English assignment, but one of the greatest movies ever made. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Thanks for reading my essay, I'll see you later alligators!篇4Why I Chose the Movie Forrest Gump for My English AssignmentHi, my name is Tommy and I'm in 5th grade! We had to watch a movie in English class and write about it. I picked Forrest Gump and I'm going to tell you all about why I chose it and what I thought.First of all, Forrest Gump is a really cool movie! It's about this guy named Forrest who doesn't have a very high IQ, but he's really nice and good-hearted. Even though a lot of people think he's not very smart, he ends up doing all these amazing things in his life just by being himself. The movie starts when Forrest is a little kid living in Alabama. He has to wear braces on his legs because his back is crooked. The other kids make fun of him and call him names, which is really mean. But Forrest doesn't let it get him down. His best friend is this girl named Jenny who is really smart and pretty. When they get a bit older, Forrest's mom gets him into a normal school even though the principal doesn't want him there at first. That's when he meets his drill sergeant at school who starts making him run a lot. It turns out Forrest is an amazing runner and he ends up joining the football team and gets a scholarship to go to university! At university, there's a big protest against the Vietnam War going on. Forrest gets caught up in it by accident and ends up joining the army. He gets sent to Vietnam as a soldier. While he's there, he saves a lot of his army buddies' lives by running around really fast and rescuing them. It's crazy! After Vietnam, Forrest goes into the shrimping business with his friend Bubba. But then Bubba gets killed in the war. So Forrest ends up becoming a really successful shrimper and makes tons of money. He uses the money to get rich but he still stays humble. The coolest part is when Forrest decides to just start running one day across the whole country! He runs and runs for years and people start following him and running too. It's like he startsthis whole running movement. But eventually he gets tired and stops.Throughout the whole movie, Forrest is trying to get back together with his childhood friend Jenny. But she keeps leaving him and going down a bad path with drugs and other troubles. I don't want to spoil the ending, but it's really sad yet beautiful how their story ends up.There's so much more I could say about Forrest Gump, but I'll stop there. I chose this movie because even though it's old (it came out in 1994 which is like a million years ago!), the story is really powerful. Forrest shows that you don't have to be traditionally "smart" to make a difference in the world. He's kind, loyal, and just lives his life truthfully without letting problems stop him.The movie has a lot of important American history too from the Vietnam War, the desegregation movement, and the 60s and 70s culture. But more than that, it's about the importance of friendship, family, and staying true to yourself no matter what anyone says.Forrest Gump made me laugh and cry. Tom Hanks is amazing as the main character. The movie teaches great lessons but in a really fun and entertaining way. That's why I had to pickForrest Gump for my English movie assignment! What did you all think of my essay? Let me know if you have any other questions!篇5Why I Chose Forrest Gump for My English Movie EssayI decided to write my English movie essay on Forrest Gump because it's such an amazing and inspiring film! It has everything - humor, sadness, history, and a hero you can't help but love.Forrest Gump is about a guy named Forrest who doesn't have a very high IQ but is one of the nicest, most genuine people you'll ever meet. Even though life throws a lot of challenges his way, he stays positive and kind. The movie follows his incredible journey through major events in American history like the Vietnam War, the civil rights movement, and more. One reason I love this movie so much is because of the main character, Forrest Gump himself. He's played by the actor Tom Hanks, who does an awesome job making you care about Forrest right away. Even though Forrest isn't very smart, he has a heart of gold and always sees the best in people. When kids make fun of him for being "different", he doesn't let it get him down. His mama taught him sayings like "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get" that help him stay positive no matter what.Something else I really like about Forrest is how loyal and caring he is toward his friends. Like with his best friend Bubba, they become so close while serving together in the army during the Vietnam War. When Bubba gets killed, Forrest takes his dream of opening a shrimping business super seriously in honor of their friendship. That's true loyalty right there! And who could forget Forrest's epic cross-country running streak that lasts for like three years?! That's got to be one of the most hilarious and heartwarming parts of the whole movie. Here's this guy who decides to just start running one day, and he inspires thousands of people to follow him and chase their own dreams too. It just goes to show how doing your own thing and living life simply can motivate people in unexpected ways. But Forrest Gump isn't all laughs and silliness. It also deals with really serious topics like racism, the Vietnam War, and the AIDS epidemic. But it covers this difficult stuff in a way that's easy to understand. Like when Forrest gets deployed to fight in Vietnam, you see how horrible war is but from the perspective of someone too pure and innocent to fully grasp the violence and politics behind it all.Seeing major historical events through Forrest's eyes makes you think harder about things that actually happened in America not too long ago. Like how people judged and mistreated Forrest's friend Bubba's mom just because she was Black. Or how awful the Vietnam soldiers were treated when they returned home from the fighting. Even kids can understand that this unfair treatment of people was very wrong after watching this movie. My favorite part of the whole movie though has to be Forrest's love for his childhood friend Jenny. Even after she rejects him at first because of her own troubled past, Forrest never stops loving her unconditionally. Their relationship has its ups and downs (like when she gets caught up in drugs and a rough crowd for awhile), but Forrest is always there for her with open arms no matter what. When they finally end up together and have a son, it feels so earned and heartwarming. True love conquers all!In the end, Forrest Gump reminds me that it's ok to be different. That loyalty, love, and never giving up on your dreams is what really matters in life - not your IQ level or what anyone else thinks about you. It's an important message for kids and grownups alike. The world could definitely use more people with souls as pure as Forrest Gump's!。

A favorable movieForrest Gump is the best movie I’ve ever seen. In my view, a good movie should not only bring people pleasure but also lead people to think deeply. Precisely, the movie meets both two.Forrest Gump, a movie directed by Robert Zemeckis, have got six Grand Prixes of the 67th Academic Award in 1995, such as the best picture , the best actor , the best achievement in directing , etc. at one blow .The story follows the life of low I.Q. Forrest Gump and his meeting with the love of his wife Jenny. The film chronicles his accidental experiences with some of the most important people and events in America from the late 1950's through the 1970's including a meeting with Elvis Presley, JFK, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, fighting in Vietnam, etc.Forrest Gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower IQ and the muscle problem, usually, people always think this kind of person can't be successful in doing anything. But, instead, this unlucky man has achieved lots of incredible success, he is a football star, a war hero, and later a millionaire! Finally, he got respect, fortune and love.To all that story, since beginning all behave with a kind of tender feeling and well-meaning attitude after all for the film, having even joined poesy composition, this makes the film seem soft and have no injury. The film advocates to traditional moral concept and embodiment. Make film apt to accept by people, director superb lay out skill and film application of language make the film very attractive too. Success with commercial for film content of the film has given security, and the treatment on director's art makes the film more excellent, this is reason that the film succeeds. The director tells us a story about the attitude towards life with the way of image. The movie is excellent in interestedness as well as the depth of thought. “Life was like a box of chocolate s, you never know what you’re gonna get.” Many people had been totally struck by this simple but wise sentence, whose correctness had been proved by Forrest with his entire lifetime. When people were all but going to be defeated by life, and when people were desperate, this sentence would come into their minds, inspire them and give them courage to move on.I like the film, like the flying feathers in film, as if the feather is my own. May be destiny is like a feather, which has no concrete direction, and the ordinary experience tired us. However any turing is controlled by themselves freely, there’s just one thing you must do-do your best. “Perseverance, and never give up”. If we have this sprit nothing can stop us, and we will obtain the true life. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way. Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a Mystery and Today is a gift.。

1My Favorite Movie: Forrest GumpForrest Gump is one of the best movies ever made! It's a really long movie, but it never gets boring. The movie is all about this super nice guy named Forrest Gump and all the amazing adventures he goes on throughout his life.Forrest was born in Alabama in the United States. His mom was a really strong woman who always looked out for him. Forrest wasn't very smart, but his mom told him "Stupid is as stupid does." That means it doesn't matter if you're not brilliant, as long as you don't do dumb things.Even though Forrest had a low IQ, he was really good at running fast. When he was a little kid, he had to wear leg braces to help him walk. But one day, the braces broke while he was running from some bullies who were chasing him. Forrest just kept on running and running, going faster than he ever had before without his leg braces weighing him down.In school, Forrest met his best friend Jenny. He loved her with all his heart, but she had a tough life with her mean father and ended up going down a bad path as a teenager and adult. Despite everything, Forrest was always there for Jenny whenever she needed him. When Forrest grew up, he joined the Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He saved lots of his fellow soldiers by running really fast and pulling them out of danger. Forrest was such a hero that he got awarded the Medal of Honor, which is like the most important award a soldier can get. After the war, Forrest became really good at ping pong and even played against players from China in a major tournament. Ping pong is that game where you hit a little ball back and forth over a net. Forrest was excellent at it because of his fast reflexes from all that running he did as a kid. Then Forrest became a shrimping boat captain and started his own shrimping business. Shrimping is catching little shrimp creatures from the ocean to sell at stores and restaurants. It's really hard work, but Forrest didn't mind because he loved being out on the ocean.Somehow, whenever crazy historical things were happening, Forrest always just happened to be around. Like he met severalUS presidents just by being in the right place at the right time. He was also there for major events like the Black Panther protests, the anti-Vietnam War rallies, and even the Watergate political scandal! No matter what was going on though, Forrest stayed humble and kind. He didn't realize how much of an impact he was having on the world around him. He just lived his life doing whatever came naturally to him, like running, ping pong, shrimping, and most importantly, caring for his loved ones like Jenny. The movie makes you laugh with Forrest's hilariousone-liners and sweetness, but also cry during the sad parts about the Vietnam War and Jenny's hard life. My favorite quote from the movie is "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get." I think that means you can't predict everything that will happen, so you've just gotta roll with things as they come.Forrest is such an inspiring character because even though he has intellectual disabilities that society often looks down upon, he achieves incredible things through his physical capabilities, loyalty to friends, childlike wisdom, and good heart. The way heperseveres through all his struggles and keeps his spirit intact is really moving. If you haven't watched Forrest Gump yet, you absolutely have to see it! It's a true classic with amazing acting, exciting historical events, hilarious comedy, and deep heartfelt moments. Just thinking about this wonderful movie puts a huge smile on my face. I've probably seen it like twenty times already, and I know I'll watch it over and over again for the rest of my life!篇2Forrest Gump is the Best Movie Ever!My favorite movie of all time is Forrest Gump. It's such an amazing and inspiring story about this really nice guy named Forrest who has an IQ of 75 but ends up doing all these incredible things in his life. The movie shows that it doesn't matter how smart you are, what matters is having a good heart and never giving up on your dreams.Forrest Gump is played by the actor Tom Hanks, who does such an awesome job making you really believe he is this simple but incredibly kind person. From the moment the movie starts when Forrest is a little kid in Alabama, you can't help but love him. His best friend is this girl named Jenny who he has a crushon his whole life. Even though she is really mean to him sometimes and calls him stupid, Forrest never stops caring about her. When Forrest grows up, he gets recruited into the army to fight in the Vietnam War. I don't really understand all the politics about that war, but Forrest ends up saving lots of his fellow soldiers and becoming a big hero. He gets medals for being so brave. What I thought was really cool was how Forrest accidentally got to meet several real presidents like JFK, Lyndon Johnson, and Richard Nixon just by being in the right place at the right time. After the war, Forrest goes back home and starts this shrimping boat business. When the boat gets caught in a huge storm, all the shrimps are swept away. But then Forrest gets this brilliant idea to start catching all the shrimp that were trying to swim away. This makes him become a self-made millionaire! He uses the money to pay for his friend Bubba's family shrimping business and to buy his own house and a cool car.The saddest part of the movie is when Jenny gets mixed up with bad people and starts doing drugs and other terrible things. Even though she treats Forrest so badly, he never stops loving her as his friend. When Jenny gets really sick later on, Forresttakes her back home to live with him and take care of her. This part always makes me cry. There are so many funny and amazing moments in Forrest Gump that I could talk about forever. Like when he suddenly becomes a ping-pong champion and gets to go to China! Or when he starts running across America for years just because he felt like it. Or how he keeps showing up in these famous events like the anti-war protests and the watergate scandal without even meaning to. Every time you watch it, you discover cool new details. What I love most about Forrest Gump is the message that if you are a good person who never stops trying your best, you can overcome any obstacle. Even though the world often treats Forrest unfairly because he's different, he proves that courage, honesty, and kindness are more important than intelligence. His mama told him "Stupid is as stupid does," meaning don't judge anyone for how smart they are.By the end when Forrest gets reunited with his son and they're living happily together, you feel so happy for him. He went through so much adversity but never gave up on his dreams and values. That's why Forrest Gump will always be my favorite movie! It motivates me to be a better person like him. Iwish everyone could learn the amazing lessons that Forrest teaches through his incredible life.篇3My Favorite Movie - Forrest GumpOne of my all-time favorite movies is Forrest Gump. When Forrest comes back to America, he uses the money from ping pong to start the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company like he promised Bubba. The saddest part is when Forrest finds out his friend Jenny is really sick. He reads to her from an old book every day at the hospital until she dies. Before Jenny dies though, she has Forrest's son and names him Forrest after his daddy. It deserves all the Oscars and awards it won. I've watched it like ahundred times already and it's still my number one favorite film of all time!
