微软需要海量的用户群迁移到这个账号里。

总之，对微软而言，一切的核心还是独立的微软账号。

七大浏览器最新速度测试还是Chrome 5最快51CTO参考了IE8所用的测试方法，对最新一批的七大浏览器进行了速度测试。

它们分别是：IE9 Preview 3、Firefox 4.0 Beta、Chrome 5 Stable、Opera 10.60、Safari 5、傲游3 RC、搜狗浏览器2。

这年头浏览器种类多，更新也快，每次有浏览器进行升级，都有国内外各大IT媒体放出各种各样的性能测试数据，柱状图满天飞。

目前，这些数据主要都是来自针对JavaScript引擎的基准测试；然而无论是微软还是Google，世界上大多数浏览器开发者都已经产生了一个共识：浏览器快不快，只有用户说了算；而用户所体验到的，从来都是整体的真实页面加载和显示的速度。

也就是说，无论这个浏览器的性能多好，只要用户觉得它慢，那它就是慢；就好像一个足球球员无论百米速度多快，身体有多强壮，如果在球场上没啥精彩表现，那球迷们也不会买账。

因此本次51CTO对最新这批浏览器的速度测试中，我们对性能基准测试不予考虑（最新的JavaScript基准测试可以参考这篇文章），而主要由页面整体加载时间作为决定因素。

测试方法测试流程很简单：在同一台计算机上，启动浏览器，按照次序打开四个指定的网址，并对每一个网页的加载过程进行计时。

全部完毕之后，关闭浏览器。

然后，对其他的待测试浏览器重复同样的步骤。

一般来说，通过屏幕录像的方式是比较准确的，不过鉴于时间所限，本次测试采用了一个第三方的计时工具：Numion Stopwatch。

这个工具用JavaScript 编写，测试了浏览器从开始加载URL到发出“完成”信号这段时间的长度。

为了尽可能的排除外在不稳定因素对测试结果造成的影响，测试过程中遵循了一下几点事项：◆关闭每个浏览器上的额外插件（如Firefox的Firebug或Chrome的Gmail Checker这种用户额外添加的插件。

Flash Player这种“必要”的AddOn则不用关闭）。

近期微软发布了据说安全性最好的浏览器IE8，直接把浏览器大战推向高潮。

虽然距离IE7正式发布仅半年，IE8就宣布问世，但它在技术上的进步还是十分明显的。

与以前的版本相比，它可帮助你更方便快捷地从网页获取所需的任何内容，同时提供了更高的隐私和安全保护。

相比IE7，IE8在浏览网页时速度快了很多，使用上感觉也非常流畅。

IE8相比IE7最大的提升就是安全性和隐私保护方面。

在隐私保护方面：IE8提供了一个InPrivate隐私浏览模式，该模式包含了InPrivate浏览和InPrivate阻挡两类功能，前者能在浏览网站时不在自己的电脑里留下历史记录，后者能让网站无法跟踪你的浏览活动，从而保护在上网浏览、购物时的个人隐私安全。

即使在公共场合上网也无需手工删除任何浏览记录。

在安全性方面，IE8将IE7中的“仿冒网站筛选器”改进为“安全性过滤器”，通过XSS筛选器，可以屏蔽网页中的恶意代码，让你浏览到正规可靠的网站。

另外它还提供一个SmartScreen筛选，通过一些机制可以过滤并标示出一些潜在不安全的网站，帮你检测到恶意网站和钓鱼网站，还可以阻止损害电脑和盗取用户个人信息的已知恶意软件入侵。

此外，IE8还提供了实用的崩溃恢复功能，因为浏览器崩溃而丢失正在浏览的网页信息的情况将不再重现。

IE8中的很多新功能也为我们上网带来了很大的方便：首先，IE8把IE7中的选项卡都变成彩色的，链接相关的网站就会用同一个颜色打开。

这样，访问了哪些网站就一目了然，关闭的时候也不容易点错，而且还可以右键点击选项卡标签选择“关闭此选项卡组”，这样，就可以一次性把同一个网站的网页一下全关掉了。

其次，IE8地址栏升级为智能的了，不但可以显示我们曾经输入过的地址，还能显示收藏夹、订阅的源信息等等，而且哪个地址不需要了还可以直接删除!另外，在IE8中加入了对加速器的支持，这样，无论浏览哪个网页，你只需要在网页上选中感兴趣的内容，单击加速器图标或右键，无需离开正在浏览的页面，即可轻松地基于该内容进行搜索、查看地图、发送电子邮件、翻译或进行其他更多操作。
