Care should be taken not to allow the plastic surface temperature to exceed 110°C otherwise damage may occur.When the temperature reaches the ‘Alarm Temperature’ (see Specifications above), check that the red LED on the detector latches into alarm. If an optional remote LED is fitted, check that this also lights.Ensure that the control panel activates into alarm.Reset the detector from the control panel unless automatically reset by the panel in test mode.This procedure will test the heat sensing circuitry of the Photo/Thermal Detector.MaintenanceOnly minimal maintenance can be performed on this range of detectors as they do not contain any site serviceable parts. The frequency of maintenance and will depend on the environment towhich the detector is exposed but should be at least annually. Na zarízení se muže nacházet kombinovaná varovne upozornující znacka podle níže zobrazeného typu. A chip card is used to download the safety circuit to the baseunit. The base unit has 2 microcontrollers that monitor each other. They evaluate the inputcircuits on the base unit and expansion modules and switch the outputs on the base unitand expansion modules accordingly.The online help on the PNOZmulti Configurator contains descriptions of the operatingmodes and all the functions of the PNOZmulti safety system, plus connection examples.4.3System reaction timeCalculation of the maximum reaction time between an input switching off and a linked out-put in the system switching off is described in the document "PNOZmulti System Expan-sion".4.4Block diagram5Installation5.1General installation guidelines}The unit should be installed in a control cabinet with a protection type of at least IP54.}Fit the safety system to a horizontal mounting rail. PNOZmulti故障诊断手册在用户使用PNOZmulti时，由于内部或外部的各种故障，PNOZmulti上可能会报错。

快速检测出错误并进行排除对于生产的正常运行而言至关重要。

PNOZmulti的硬件和软件上都配备了功能完善的诊断工具，充分利用这些诊断工具便可在最短时间内排查出故障并加以解决，从而使生产流程高效运行。

本故障诊断手册用以为用户提供简单有效的故障排除流程及方法，帮助用户更有效地使用PNOZmulti。

1. PNOZmulti模块LED故障指示灯通常而言，如果外部电路或者模块内部发生任何故障，PNOZmulti模块左下方的LED 故障指示灯便会常亮或闪烁（见图1）。

排除故障的第一步便是观察主模块及扩展模块上LED 故障指示灯的工作情况，根据不同故障指示灯的状态确认大体错误原因。

下表列出了所有LED故障显示情况及所对应的错误。

PNOZmulti软件带有完善的故障检测功能，并通过人机友好的界面方便用户进行故障检测。

下面将通过PNOZmulti Configurator 7.0.0版本向用户详细介绍故障排除方式。

2.1 配置联机端口所有故障检测均需联机进行，联机时的第一步是进行端口设置。

在PNOZmulti Configurator的“PNOZmulti”菜单中，选择“Set Interface”选项，如图所示：图2：端口设置菜单及界面打开端口设置对话框，如上图所示，在此用户可以选择读卡器端口或PNOZmulti联机端口。

本例中我们选择COM3作为PNOZmulti联机端口。

The system configurationvariables include the placement of the system MOV and X capacitor(s) as well as the differential surge voltage specifications of the application.As shown in Table 1, each device in the CAPZero family has a 825 V or 1000 V option. For applications where the system MOV is placed in position 1 (MOV POS1 in Figure 3), the 825 V option will typicallyprovide adequate voltage withstand for surge requirements up to 3 kV or more. For differential surgevoltage specifications of >1.5 kV it is recommended that the MOV is always placed in the location shown in Figure 3 as MOV POS1.It is always recommended that the peak voltage between terminals D1 and D2 of CAPZero is measured during surge tests in the final system. Measurements of peak voltage across CAPZero during surge tests should be made with oscilloscope probes having appropriate voltage rating and using an isolated supply to the oscilloscope to avoid ground currents influencing measurement results. When making such measurements, it is recommended that 50 V engineer-ing margin is allowed below the breakdown voltage specification (for example 950 V with the 1000 V CAPZero).If the measured peak Drain voltage exceeds 950 V, an external 1 kV ceramic capacitor can be placed between D1 and D2 terminals to attenuate the voltage applied between the CAPZero terminals during surge. Please refer to the Application Note AN-48 for the details. This optional external capacitor placement is shown as C EXT in Figure 3. It should be noted that use of an external capacitor in this way will increase power consumption slightly due to the C EXT charge/discharge currents flowing in R1 and R2 while AC is connected.PCB Layout and External Resistor SelectionFigure 4 shows a typical PCB layout configuration for CAPZero. The external resistors in this case are divided into two separate surface mount resistors to distribute loss under fault conditions – for example where a short-circuit exists between CAPZero terminals D1 and D2. R1 and R2 values are selected according to Table 1.Under a fault condition where CAPZero terminals D1 and D2 are shorted together, each resistor will dissipate a power that can becalculated from the applied AC voltage and the R1 and R2 values. For example in an application using CAP004 or CAP014, R1=R2=390 k W . If CAPZero is shorted out at 265 VAC R1 and R2 will each dissipate 45 mW.Resistors R1 and R2 should also be rated for 50% of the system input voltage again to allow for the short-circuitry of CAPZero D1 to D2 pins during single point fault testing.Rev.
