1. In my opinion, the college entrance examination, also known as the Gaokao, is a crucial milestone in every student's life. It is a test that determines their academic future and opens doors to higher education opportunities. The pressure and expectations surrounding the Gaokao are immense, making it a challenging and stressful experience for many students.2. The Gaokao covers a wide range of subjects, including Chinese, mathematics, English, and other optional subjects. It tests students' knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills. The exam is designed to be comprehensive and rigorous, aiming to select the best candidates for college admission.3. Preparation for the Gaokao usually starts years in advance. Students spend countless hours studying, attending extra classes, and taking mock exams to improve their scores. The competition is fierce, as thousands of studentsvie for limited spots in prestigious universities. This intense competition can lead to a high level of stress and anxiety among students.4. On the day of the Gaokao, students are required to complete multiple exams within a limited time frame. The pressure to perform well can be overwhelming, and many students experience nervousness and anxiety. The examitself is challenging, with complex questions and strict time constraints. It tests not only students' knowledge but also their ability to handle stress and perform under pressure.5. Despite the challenges and stress associated with the Gaokao, it is also seen as an opportunity for students to prove their abilities and achieve their dreams. A good Gaokao score can open doors to prestigious universities and provide better career prospects. Many students view the Gaokao as a stepping stone towards a brighter future and are willing to put in the hard work and dedication required to succeed.6. However, it is important to remember that the Gaokao is not the only measure of a student's abilities and potential. It is just one aspect of their academic journey. Students should not define their worth solely based ontheir Gaokao score. There are various paths to success, and each student has their unique strengths and talents that cannot be solely determined by an exam.7. In conclusion, the Gaokao is a challenging and significant event in every student's life. It tests their knowledge, skills, and ability to handle stress. While it can be a stressful and competitive experience, it also presents opportunities for students to achieve their dreams and pursue higher education. It is important to remember that the Gaokao is just one aspect of a student's academic journey and should not define their worth or potential.。

It's like my body was telling me to stay in bed all day, but my mind was screaming at me to get up and get moving. So, I dragged myself out of bed and stumbled into the kitchen to make some coffee. The smell of freshly brewed coffee always helps to wake me up, and today was no exception. As soon as I took that first sip, I could feel the caffeine working its magic, and I started to feel alittle more alive. After breakfast, I decided to go for a walk in the park. The fresh air and the gentle exercise did wonders for my mood. I could feel the stress and fatigue melting away with each step I took. It's amazing how something as simple as a walk in the park can have such a big impact on your mental and physical well-being.As the day went on, I found myself feeling more and more energized. I tackled some chores around the house, went for a run, and even caught up with some friends over video call. By the time evening rolled around, I wasfeeling like a whole new person.Looking back on the day, I realized that sometimes, all it takes to shake off the tiredness and recharge your batteries is a little bit of movement and fresh air.
如,在08年高考作文中,表达几个并列要点时就出现了这样一些连词(下划线部分):Many people suggest that parents should listen more to their children, so they will understand them better, and find it easy to narrow the generation gap; teachers should listen more to their students, then they can meet their needs better, and place themselves in a good relationship with their students; students should listen more to their classmates, thus they will help and learn6 / 7from each other, and a friendship is likely to be formed.
