每个单元都以不同的话题为主线来设计教学内容,并通过层层递进的方式来激发学生们的学习兴趣,让学生们在更贴近实际生活、比较真实的情景中来感知语言,应用语言。
Unit8 Have you read Treasure Island yet?是学生们学习的第八个单元,是学生们初步开始学习现在完成时态的一个单元,本单元通过文学与音乐这两个话题来谈论自己近期的经历与变化,引导学生从书籍和音乐中学习,并从既往经历中总结反思,提升自我。
2. 学情分析八年级的学生乐观向上,乐于助人,但是他们又缺少必要的反思与提升能力,所以要引导学生从自己经历的事情中收获对自己有益的事情。
学生们在八单元前三个课时的学习中已经学习了不同的书籍及其内容,具有了从书本内容中学习新的知识与精神的能力,本课时通过学习关于乡村音乐对于一个女孩的影响来体会人在各种经历中的变化,更能促使孩子们感受自己的经历并从中收获改变。
3.教学目标语言知识(Language knowledge)(1)围绕本单元话题,学会准确地读出和使用used to fight, realize, ever since then, souther, belong to, laughter, research, record等词和词组。
(2) 能够运用本单元所学知识(have/has done )叙述自己或他人曾经的经历及其变化。
语言技能(Language skills)能够通过独立阅读概括段落主旨,通过分析文章提炼关键信息、梳理文章结构并确定文本类型;能够通过小组合作的方式完成概括文章的任务。

阅读语篇分为两个主要构成部分,一是美国感恩节由来的小短文,二是火鸡的制作过程和方法。
阅读材料内容丰富,包含了历史文化方面的内容,并涉及到有关食物制作步骤的拓展, 如:mix together, fill… with, cover… with,呈现了表示食物以及器材的名词pepper, oven, plate 和短语give thanks for, fill …with…, cover…with…等。
这些词汇不仅是对单元语言目标的进一步拓展,还为后面的写作提供了参考词汇。
2、学情分析这是本单元的第四个课时,是阅读课时。
学生们需要掌握的是此篇文章的内容、一些重点句型以及阅读的方法。
这篇文章还可以让学生有一个更深层次的思考:如何学会感恩和常怀感恩之心。
3、.设计特色本节课根据新课标提出的以学生为本的教学理念,采用“交流预习→导入新课→学习交流→归纳总结→检测提高”的教学模式,让学生通过小组合作,自主学习的方式,学习阅读文章,了解文章主要意思及其寓意,感悟人生。
