(主动改被动)语法讲解although和though引导的让步状语从句。
让步状语从句表示即便出现从句的情况,主句动作依然会发生。
在句中可翻译成“尽管、即使”,有“退一步说”的含义。
although和thou gh引导的让步状语从句不能和but连用,但可以和yet连用。
题四:翻译:1.尽管他只是个孩子,但是他知道的很多。
2.即使你不来,我也会很开心。
3.虽然我远离我的家乡,但是我没有觉得孤独。
so...that和such...that引导的结果状语从句。
结果状语从句用来说明主句动作所带来的结果。
so...that和such...that的区别。
so是副词,修饰形容词和副词。
so...that的意思是“如此……以至于……”。
such是限定词,所以只能修饰名词或名词词组。
固定句型是such + a (n) (+adj.)+单数可数名词+that从句。
such (+adj.) +复数可数名词+that从句。
such (+adj.) +不可数名词+that从句。

so that引导的目的状语从句。
目的状语从句用于说明主句动作发生的目的。
so that的意思是“以便、为了”,可以与in order that相替换。
引导目的状语从句时,表示“以便、为了”,从句中常使用can /could /may /might /will /would /should等情态动词或助动词。

题七:能力提升与拓展Idioms are phrases and sentences that do not mean exactly what they say. Even if you know the meaning of each word you see or hear, you may not understand the idiom because you don’t understand the culture behind it.For example, if an American boy a sks his mother what’s for dinner tomor row, she may say “I’ll play it by ear”, that means she doesn’t have plans for dinner and she will decide later. “Play by ear” used to mean playing music using the sheet music, but now people often use it when they’re nottalking about music.There’re many idioms in English.
