superior

常用搭配：be superior to比……更优越，优于

This carpet is far superior to that one in quality. 这块地毯在质量上比那块好很多。

注意：

superior隐含着比较的意义，因此前面不能再加more。与另一事物比较时，加介词要用to，不能用than。

disgusting
