关于当前中学英语教学法之“折中”探索 关键:折中直接法教学法交际法听说法 前 学术界普遍认为最早的学、系统的外语教学法是语---翻译法。近年来,其他的外语教法也随之纷纷出现,如:自然法、觉实践法、视听法、全身反应、直接法、听说法、际法、社团语言学习法、认知法暗示法。对我国外语学产生较大影响的有:语翻译法、直接法、听说和交际法。我国迄还没有一套自己的完整外语教学法系,对国外教学法引进往往是盲从和“一窝蜂”,全盘照搬。对各教学法的推广,不结合国情,各种教学法的成因缺深入研究。在教材编写、师的课堂评价和学生成绩考评上现极端化倾向。当某种教学法流行,极端排斥其他教法,唯我独尊,唯独优。从而导致我没有一套有中国特色的、理论上有新、实践上有可操作性普遍有效性的外语教学法论。在语言学、心理学、育学研究高度发达的今,中国的外语教学似应走兼收并蓄博采众长的折中之路。 一、各种教学法诞的历史过程,注定有自己的先天不足 语法翻法教学法盛行于18世纪末,代表物是奥伦多夫(H.G.Ollendoff)。在中纪,古希腊文和拉丁文是教会官方语言,接受高等教育人们必须学习掌握它,老师在教授这两种语言时,普遍用翻译法。18、19世纪现代外语教学入课堂,由于当时还没有成熟的其外语教学法,外语教学借了这种方法。由于它最初用来教古希腊文和拉丁文这类的语言的,训练目标是把母语翻译目标语言,或是把
