Abstract

As the world is becoming smaller and smaller,the communication of

movies among the countries all over the world has sped up.Because of language differences,most audience need to rely on the translated

subtitles to grasp the development,style and aesthetic values of films as a whole.Film subtitle translation,as an emerging filed,came into existence.So far,subtitle translation theory has been not mature and enough

attention should have been paid to it.

As the most important theory of functionalism,Skopostheorie breaks
