In most situations, light helps us see.But nowadays humans are using too much of it so that it is in fact a ind of pollution.

When it comes to looing at the night sy, too much light maes it difficult for us to watch some of life’s most wonderful sights stars, planets and even galaies(星系).

They are still learning more.

In order to prevent things from going worse, governments and some organiations are woring to reduce light pollution.Many cities and towns have taen action to reduce the use of lights at night.Lights are used only when and where they are truly needed.They also shine lights down at the ground instead of up into the sy and use lower brightness levels.Hopefully, in the near future, humans can enjoy the clear and beautiful sy again and all the wildlife will live a peaceful and undisturbed life, too.

Important tips for better flash photos

Don't stand too far bac from your subject. The flash on most cameras will not cover any subject well over three metres away. Even in non-flash photos many photographers stand too far away from their subjects. As a result, the subjects are small with great areas of unimportant bacground.

Watch the bacground carefully and be sure there are no mirrors or shiny things to reflect (反射) the flash bac to the camera lens (镜头).

When taing pictures of people, as them not to loo into the lens but at a point over your shoulder, because it is very possible that the flash will reflect from their eyes and there will be red eyes in the photo.

Try to give the subjects an interesting bacground. If there is nothing for two metres behind the subject, the bacground will come out blac or very dar. Of course, you don't want an untidy bacground, because it will tae people's attention away from your subject.
