英语教案-Numbers in English

教学目标

前两个单元我们已经学习了英语二十六个字母。本单元我们要开始词汇的学习。单词是语言最基本的单位。单词量的大小决定了学生们的语言能力。也在一定程度上反映了他们的英语水平。教师从本节课起,就要逐步向学生们渗透学习单词的正确方法。

初步会填写通讯录和会读电话号码、车牌号码等。

语音学习

a) 元音字母A在开音节中的读音与相应的读音规律。

教学建议

本单元重点和难点

1.能初步掌握单词表上的单词。

2.能够初步掌握日常交际用语中的句型。

3.了解字母A在开闭音节中的读音。

4.初步掌握动词Be的用法,缩略语以及一般疑问句形式及答语。

特别要注意疑问句的语序与中文的不同;

5.第一、二人称Be动词用法。

如何学习单词和培养学生的阅读能力

上两单元结束了字母的学习。本单元正式开始单词的学习。背单词是初学者们最头痛的事情。教师首先要消除学生们的恐惧心理。告诉学生,背单词只要方法正确,并不是一件可怕的事情。教师一开始就要重视词汇教学。关注每一个学生对词汇的掌握程度,随时调整它们的词汇学习策略,帮助他们顺利渡过词汇关。

在词汇教学中,教师从教第一个单词开始既要注意单词的读音、拼写形式、词义以及词的搭配和用法。教单词的过程中,要训练学生仔细看、认真听、大声说、努力记、动手写。也就是说,课堂上,学习新单词要同时调动眼、耳、口、脑、手五个器官的作用,即眼睛看着单词,耳朵听着单词,口中读着单词,脑子想着单词,手中写着单词。

记忆单词要通过句子记忆。也就是我们平时所说的运用。一个单词只有放在句中或短语中,才能牢牢的记住。如:单记morning 可能记不住,但记Good morning, Sir!也许就记住了,因为这个短

语老师、学生天天说。

由于语言之间的差异,英语单词离不开记忆。据专家们测算,一个单词需要重复20次以上才有可能不忘。老师要有计划的帮助学

生们重复记忆单词。一般说来学习新单词的第一周每天早晚各重复一次,以后每周重复一次,然后一个月重复一次,大约两个月为一个周期。并尽量找机会运用到日常生活中,一般单词就不会忘了。

有了单词和句子就必然要接触到短文,那么,就要开始逐步

培养学生的阅读能力。

首先,要对学生进行Listen, Read and Say等训练。本单

元阅读的是对话式的课文。在前两单元听说的基础之上,开始培养学生的朗读能力。朗读能训练学生的语音、语调,是帮助学生理解、巩固和记忆所读材料的有效途径。先听说后读写符合语言的习得规律。因此,教师从一开始教课文就要注意培养训练学生的朗读能力。同时,朗读也是阅读能力的第一步,是培养阅读(逐步过渡到默读)的基本技巧。古人云:授人以鱼,不如授之以渔。对于学生阅读能力的训练,应该就是授之以渔。

单词教学建议

让学生根据发音规律,能自己学习的单词,尽量让他们自己学习。如:nine, ten, five, six, grade,告诉他们发音规律,学

生们是可以自己朗读的。有些词可以迁移,如:seveneleven fourfourteen fivefifteen等。通过这些词的学习,学生们不仅学习到了更多新的单词,而且培养了他们良好的学习习惯。

口语教学建议

帮助学生听懂并理解课堂用语及日常交际用语。教会话时要尽量利用真实的情景或创造较为真实的场景使学生学起来感到亲切。同时要尽量从已学过的句子入手,逐步过渡到新的语言知识。

本单元的另一个重点是对学生进行数字方面的训练。要按照事先编排好的排、组、行等实际情况进行问答。鼓励学生们多说,基本说对能表达意思即可。适当纠错,但要讲究策略。

语法教学建议

在运用熟练的基础之上,总结动词Be ( am, is, are)的用法。注意完全形式、缩略形式、疑问句以及肯定句与中文的不同。

对于初学英语语法的学生,他们的难点是主语和谓语的一致,为了讲一步帮助记忆be动词的用法,不防背诵下面的顺口溜: 我用am, 你用are, is跟着he(他)、she(她)、it(它)。

教师应创造条件让学生进行大量的实践练习。通过听,说,读,写反复操练,形成一种语言习惯,在适当的时候可帮助学生自己总结出语法规则。

语音教学建议

了解字母A在开闭音节中的读音规律。尽量让学生掌握此类单词,name Kate grade cake 即《元辅E》的结构和此类单词 map bag thank即《辅元辅》的结构。给学生讲解开闭音节的规律。熟悉了这类发音规律后,可以给学生几个学生没学过的单词,让学生根据发音规律试着读一读。如:tape lake lamp cap can等。

异国文化差异的教育

学习数字必然要涉及到年龄,告诉学生西方人士很忌讳问他们的年龄的。尤其是问妇女和老人的年龄。即使是本国人,随便问老人的年龄也是不太礼貌的。

在西方国家,人们一般不随便询问别人的年龄、收入、婚否、宗教信仰等问题,他们认为这属于自己的私事。尤其是成年妇女最不愿别人问她们的年龄,因为她们总想把自己打扮得更年轻漂亮。如果别人问起,她们会巧妙地避而不答。英美人见面时常喜欢问对方的健康状况或谈论天气,这是西方国家人民的一种习惯,与中国人的习俗极不相同。

在黑板上写出一些加减法的数学题。然学生们学习句型Whats …plus…? Its…

Whats …minus…? Its … 老师问学生答或学生之间互问答。

Step 3

先听录音,要听仔细,然后让学生模仿,尽量要模仿的和录音一样。

练习字母A 在开闭音节中的发音。并讲解字母A 在开闭音

节中的发音规律以及所代表的字母和字母组合。最后检验学生是否真正掌握了字母A的发音规律,可给学生几个新的单词,如:tape lake bake date lamp cap pat can等。

Step 4

练习 Lesson 12 中的 Read and say。老师可先和一个学生演示一遍。再让学生练习。让学生总结,对于上了岁数的人,尤其是妇女,什么方面的问题不要直接问,因为这在西方文化中是不礼貌的。

教学设计方案

Lesson 9,10 (一课时或两课时)

教学目标:

1.数字训练

2.学习句型:Whats your name? My name is… Whats your number? Im Number… Are you…? Yes, I am. No, I am not.

教具:投影仪、录音机、以及数字卡片等。

教学步骤:

复习一些与本课内容有关的知识。如:Be动词am,is, are, 人称代词I, you, he, she等。

引入

老师问:Whos on duty today?

学生答:I am.

老师问:Whos not here today?

学生答:X X X.

老师问:Only one?

学生答:Yes.

Step 1

引出 one 老师再问学生 How many eyes / hands / ears /do you have?加上手势,引导学生说出two, 老师再问学生How man boys?指三个学生,引出three, 还可用一些实物依次引出 four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten等。并让学生反复练习,熟悉1-10的数字。边读边引导学生按正确的读音规律拼读单词。如:five, nine, six 和ten 是《元辅E》结构和《辅元辅》结构的词,可让学生自己拼读。

Step 2

让学生练习报数 1-10。正着报数,也可倒着报数,谁报错了,就罚他从1数到10。

然后,用投影仪打出几辆车的车牌号码,让学生反复进行口头数字练习。也可问学生你家的车牌号是….

Step 3

老师可问学生,在生活中还有那些地方用上数字。学生有可能会回答,电话号码、自行车牌号、门牌号码、学号、座位号等等。老师可有计划的进行练习,可让学生先说自家的电话号码,自行车牌号等。

Step 4

按书上的顺序练习书上Listen, say and read 中图1和图

2和Ask and answer 中的图1和图2。

接下来,可让学生练习Lesson 10 中的Read and say 和Listen and say。

Step 5

最后让学生学唱Listen and chant。可让学生边拍手边唱,可男女生齐唱,轮唱,如谁愿意独唱老师可给奖励,以鼓励学生敢于表现自己。

看书,听录音并模仿,注意语速。

一、教学目的

1.掌握四会词:one and tow four three how old eleven twelve ten plus了解词义及搭配和用法。

2.掌握四会句型:What’s one plus two? How old are you?

I am eleven. Are you ten?

3.掌握三会词:13、14、15er, um.

二、本课重点

1.能听、说,读、写四会掌握本课出现的句型。大小写及标点符号,一般疑问句使用正确。

2.重点理解动词be (am, is, are)的用法,缩写形式以及一般疑问句及其答语。

三、本课难点

难点是主语和谓语的一致,名词和数词的一致。

掌握动词be的三种形式,am, is, are在句中的用法及其一般疑问句和答语。

四、学法引导

1.教师教法:课通过听、说、读、写的反复操练,形成一种语言习惯和句式,让学生达到脱口而出的程度,例如:在教学what’s …plus…?句式时,首先让学生熟练掌握数字的说法,然后说What’s one plus one/ two/ three…?一边说英语,一边将算式写在黑板上,1+1=?1+2=?1+3=?5+6=?等,替换不同的数字,同时用手做出动作,让学生多练习,使学生理解并记住

what’s …plus…?句式。

2.学生学法:熟练说出数字,达到脱口而出的程度。

Step 1 Revision (10 mins)

1.Free talk: 让学生自由组合会话(根据上一节以前学的句式)

2.合唱The Number song(复习数词)

3. Have a dictation.

Step 2 Presentation (5 nuns)

1.教师出示1-10的数字卡片,让学生迅速读出来,然后找学生读数字1-10。

2.教师出示11-15的卡片,并让学生读三遍。

3.待学生对数字基本熟练以后,教师边板书数学题边自问自答:

1+2=? What’s one plus two? It’s three.

2+2=? What’s two plus two? It’s four.

4.重复练习,然后让学生试着回答:

What’s seven plus five? It’s twelve. 7 +5 = ?

What’s six plus eight. It’s fourteen. 6+8 = ?

What’s eight plus seven? It’s fifteen, etc. 8+7 = ?

Step 3 Practice (5 mins)

1.打开书,教师领读两遍Part 1 and Part 2. 然后让学生自己读。

2.让学生看书两人一组问答,然后交换角色。

3.教师出示15以内的加法题卡片,让学生快速答出。

Step 4 Presentation (5 mms)

教师找一名学生呈现对话,然后再找两、三名学生做类似的对话,让学生理解其句式和意思。

1.打开书,听录音并跟读,注意正确模仿语音语调。

2.让学生自己朗读对话。然后同桌或前后桌两人进行问答。

3.根据本课对话,学生根据自己的实际年龄编排对话。

1.读黑板上的数字,并试着背下来。

让学生试着总结,如有漏掉的,老师补充。

2.老师出示数字卡片,让学生用英语快速读数字,并练习加法题。

3.待学生对数字和加法题基本熟练以后,教师边板书数学题边自问自答。

1.让学生每人写一个带有6个数字电话号码,然后学生互

2.根据对话,自己根据实际情况编新对话。

3.教师拿出一个玩具电话,问学生:Whats this?Its a telephone.Whats the number? six eight nine two four one seven.接着拿出一个传呼机问:Whats the number? Do you know?65649201,再拿出手机和计算机,让学生说出号码1390247688,677803.

4.教师用微机打出一张地址通讯录,展示给学生,让学生试着说出号码和数字。

探究活动

编对话

让学生互相编对话。必须用上这几句话:

What’s your name? How old are you? What’s your number? What class are you in? What’s row are you in? 告诉学生们自己分好角色,并熟悉各自的角色和要说的话。不要背书,也不是读书,而是说出句子,就像说话一样。像一个老师询问一个新同学或者是同学之间询问情况。看那一组说的自然。

Address List

1)让学生每人都准备好纸和笔,先让学生自己在纸上画好表格,制作一张通讯录,要求包括所要了解的详细信息,具体包括:Name, Sex, Address, Postal code, Telephone Number, Fax Number and E-mail。

2)Then ask every student to fill in the form

教师把学生填好的表装订起来,作为和学生联系的通讯录。

复习加plus减minus的用法

老师说一个数字,要求学生用加减的方式表示,不能重复别人的算式。如:老师说:5,学生可说:“3+2”,“2+3”,“4+1”,“6-1”,“7-2”等,说错受罚。

Telephone Number

Ask every student to write down their home telephone number in English on a piece of paper, then gives it to the teacher. Now let students do this:

1) Ask several students to say out their telephone number correctly;

2) The teacher says a telephone number, a student stands up and says: “It’s my telephone number” at once.

We also had different students in some classes, so it was struggle for me to remember all the faces and names. I found that the homework was not as heavy as what I used to get in my old school. However, it was a bit challenging for me at first, because all the homework was in English. I felt lucky, as all my teachers gave me much encouragement and I enjoyed all my subjects: English, History, English Literature, Computer Science, Maths, Science, PE, Art, Cooking and French.

I also had an extra French class on Tuesday evenings. Cooking was really fun as I learned how to buy, prepare and cook food. At the end of term we held a class party and we all had to cook something. I was glad that all my classmates were fond of the cake that I made. Students at that school have to study Maths, English and Scienc e, but can stop studying some subjects if they don’t like them, for example, History and French. They can choose other subjects like Art and Computer Science or Languages such as Spanish and German. In the Art class that I took, I made a small sculpture. T hough it didn’t look very beautiful when it was finished, I still liked it very much. I missed Chinese food a lot at lunch. British food is very different.
