Lesson 2 What are these？
一、教学目标：
1.知识目标：能听、说、认读bear、rabbit、monkey、see等新授
单词；能够听懂会说本课句型“---what are these/those? ---“They are…”
2.技能目标：能够运用“what are these？”“What are those？”
句型来提问近处或远处的事物，以及它们的正确回答。
3.情感目标：培养学生对动物的喜爱之情，养成生活中爱护动物的理
念。
二、教学重难点：
1、教学重点：能听、说、认读句型：“Wha t are these/those？”“They
are monkeys.”并能与已学句型“What’s this/that？It’s…”进
行准确区分和灵活运用
2.教学难点：these和those，以及句型“What are
these/those？”“They are monkeys.”的读音及正确运用。

动物图片、单词卡片、点读笔、课件
四、教学过程：
Step1、Warm-up and preview show
1)Greetings
2) L isten and sing the song《Let’s all go to the zoo tomorrow.》3）Preview work show （见预习案）
Step2、Presentation and cooperation
T : I think you did very well.Now let’s follow Liming, Jenny and Danny to go to the zoo.Ok? Open your books and turn to P20. Let’s listen.
1.Listen and circle the animals you hear.(圈出你所听到的单词，巩固新授单词)
2．（课件出示三幅动物的图画，学习新句型）
--What are these？--T hey’re bears/rabbits.
--What are those？-- T hey’re monkeys.
2.Listen ,point and repeat.(跟读，纠正读音，模仿语音语调)
3. Read in groups .(小组合作学习，解决疑难)
4.Group show. You can choose the way you like.
Step3、Practice and communication
1.Pair work:
1)Guessing game.出示动物影子图片让学生猜猜是什么动物来练习
句型：——What are these？——They’re …
——What are those？——They’re…
(Then ask the Ss to ask and answer in pairs.)
2）Practice.(出示动物的剪纸图片，由一个变成多个，来练习单复数的变化及问答。引导学生运用学习用品等实物进行自编对话，学生结对练习，然后展示。)
2.Group work.
小组内交流展示自己课前准备的动物园图片。课件播放对话示例，感知对话情境。
A: Hello! Let’s go to the zoo.
B: Ok! Oh, what’s this?
A :It’s a /an_____.
B: Oh, It’s big /...What are these?
A: They’re___.
B: What are those?
A: They’re ____.
B：They’re lovely!

（及时给表现好的同学鼓励和表彰。）

1) Talk about the animals with your family and friends.
和家人、朋友之间讨论所学动物。
2)预习第三课内容，认读11-20 十个数词(完成预习案)。
