大学英语说课稿

一、课程设置

(一)课程定位

大学英语教学是高等教育的一个有机组成部分。它是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,集多种教学模式和教学方法为一体的教学体系。是我院学生的一门公共基础课,也是必修课。在专业课程体系中凸显其工具性和基础性作用,提高学生跨文化交际能力和综合素质。

大学英语的先修课程为中学英语,经过本阶段的学习,学生已经具备了一定的英语基础知识,掌握了一定的英语技能。大学英语的学习注重培养学生的英语基础技能,为后续课程专业英语的开设和实施双语教学打下基础。

(二)课程目标

总目标:全面提高学生语言综合素质,重点加强学生英语应用能力培养,为学生就业、交流奠定语言基础。知识目标为基本的语法点,能力目标位听说读写译的基本技能和自主学习能力。素质目标为增强学生的国际化意识和跨文化交际意识。

(三)课程设计

1、设计理念

遵循“以应用为目的,实用为主,够用为度”的原则,尊重语言学习规律,教学过程的设计引用外语教学理论,体现生态教学的教学理念,注重教材、学生、教师等各种教学元素的关系。

2、设计思路

大学英语教学的设计体现三结合。注重实践教学,充分利用第二课堂,做到课堂教学与课外实践的有机结合。进一步夯实学生的语言基础知识,培养学生的英语语言技能,做到语言知识和语言技能相结合,为提升学生的过级率,做到基础教学与等级考试相结合。具体来说教学过程体现以学生为主体,教学方法体现以任务为中心,教学内容凸显以就业为导向,以多媒体、网络为主要教学手段。

二、教学内容

(一)内容定位

本课程以全面提高学生语言综合素质,重点加强学生英语应用能力培养,为学生就业、交流等奠定语言基础来选取教学内容。

知识点:2500-3400高频词语和有关短语;基本的语音、语法知识。

能力点:听、说、读、写、译的能力,重点突出听说能力的培养,最终提高学生的英语应用能力。

技能点:增强国际化意识和跨文化交际意识,培养团队精神,帮助学生树立正确的人生观、价值观。

(二)教学内容组织

大学英语共开设192课时,分设第一、二、三学期,其中实践96课时。

(三)重难点的确立及解决办法

重点:提高学生的英语综合应用能力;处理手段:听说领先

实践为主。

难点:要利用较少的课时提高学生语言产出的能力;处理手段:充分利用第二课堂。

三、教学实施

(一)学情分析

英语学习动机低下;词汇量少,语法薄弱,语言知识积累不够;听说读写技能基础薄弱,应用能力差;学习方法单一,缺乏有效的自学能力。

结论:学生基础较为薄弱,需要进一步夯实基础知识,扩展知识储备,掌握科学有效的学习方法和策略,提高学习效率。

(二)教学过程设计

听说部分:情景教学、角色扮演

阅读:任务教学、小组学习

语法:举例练习

写作:任务教学、模拟套写

(三)教学方法与手段

根据不同的教学内容,采用不同的教学方法,情景教学法、任务型教学法、交际教学法;以网络、多媒体为主要教学手段,大赛促教、大赛促学。

合格的职称学历结构:教授1名,副教授6名,讲师10名;助教4名;均具有本科以上学历,硕士研究生9名。

45 岁以上的2人,36-45岁的6人,35岁以下的14,思想活跃,教改创新性强。

22名教师专业特长涵盖语言学、教育学等学科领域,具有不同的学术风格和知识结构。

具有较好的语言教学理论知识和扎实的专业知识以及较强的科研能力。

大学英语教学团队在注重提高教学质量的同时,注重教学与科研的结合,坚持以科研促教学的理念,近5年来,成功申报省级科研课题10余项,在中文核心期刊、国家级期刊和省级期刊发表论文40余篇。大学英语教学团队成员还利用寒暑假时间参加国内的师资培训会、教学交流会等,从而确保了教师的水平和能力与时俱进。

(三)教材

《实用英语综合教程》系列教材由从事高职高专英语教学经验丰富的一线教师编写而成。充分体现“以人为本”和“因材施教”的指导思想;注重培养学生的创新精神和自主学习能力。

另外有自编辅助教材和英语学习网站。

(四)实践教学

学院配有多口语音室和多媒体教室。开展丰富的第二课堂活动,

英语歌曲大赛、英语口语大赛、英语情景剧大赛、英语学习方法讲座、原版英文电影

五、教学效果

(一)、我院学生自愿参加各种英语证书的考试的学生比例逐年增加,其中山东省英语应用能力考试的通过率也逐年提高,英语四级和六级报考率和通过率也有所提高

(二)、鼓励学生参加各类英语比赛,取得了较好的成绩。

(三)社会评价:

通过调查,我们了解到企业对我院学生的英语综合能力比较认可。

有部分学生考取教师资格证,目前在中小学任教,教学效果良好。
